FM also has Schick razors on b1g1 free. Use the Schick b1g1 free coupon from 11/6 SS ad. Mine were in the Columbian. I picked up 14 packages free!

At mine I had to buy 4 to use the BOGO-and then was able to use the $2 coupon off the other one I paid for, so got 4 for 7.49 (they did use the BOGO on the more expensive 10.49 one).

That is wrong carolyn, bring in a copy of the stores coupon policy. I had trouble with one cashier so I took it to another because I know their policy better than he did.

Did well with Annie’s boxes got 10 for .69 each plus had 4 .75off coups. Good stuff for .39 a box! Not to mention 12 Shick shavers for 7.29 had a BOGO and found 2 boxes with extra shavers included. Plus #5 of organic bananas @ .69/lb. With Albertson’s TTV (2 Minute Maid oj, Emerald almonds, 4 bags of Food Should Taste Good chips, free salt & free Zone bar) this sale & 4 Pom juices for 1.96 @Safeway-I had quite an outing! Spent 21.29 OOP. Whee! Coupons are fun!

I know there is an Axe shower gel coupon bogo coupon on there, does anyone remember which Sunday RP or SS it is in?

I’m a newbie to couponing, so I have a question about the Axe shower gel deal. I’m trying to figure out how I can get 2 for the deal price, but I was only able to print one $1.50/1 coupon. I do, however have a BOGO coupon for Axe…can I buy 2, and use both coupons at FM?

Sandra: Yes, you can. The $1.50/1 is for your first bottle. The BOGO coupon takes care of the second bottle. Just think that you need one coupon per item that you are getting. (Unless that coupon is a $1 off of 2 or something like that.) I find it easiest to think about how Fred Meyer gets their money back from the vendors. Axe will pay Fred Meyers $1.50 back for that first bottle. Then, they will pay full price for your free one. If everything adds up to where Fred Meyer is getting all of their money back, then you’re figuring it correctly.

Thanks! I ended up just going and giving it a try and of course it worked! :) $1.84 for two shower gels, not too bad! But I did find that one type that my hubby picked wasn’t part of the mega deal :( Still got it for free, but it meant we were short one item for the 10 we needed!

I second TJ’s post. The price on Farmhouse was .75 with the buy 10 – which was a bummer, since it’s not really a stock up price for me. I did get some Challenge Butter (they had .75/1 blinkies next to them!) and stocked up on chicken broth for the season. Yay!

Also, not part of the buy 10 promo, but their Mac n’ cheese is only .33/box this week, and it is REALLY good (almost as good as Kraft, I think). That’s a stock up price for me too (it’s my comfort food, and I use my toddler as an excuse to buy more – what can I say?)

My Freddy’s had different prices.. Farmhouse rice and pasta was $1.25 THEN $.75.. Jello was just 10/$10. There were other things that were priced higher, like the S&W beans . I think they were $1.19 then $.69 .. I still got some amazing deals and they ACTUALLY had Annie’s this week! They also had two carts full of marked down beer and lots in the clearance bins in the grocery section! Got a 20 lb bag of dog food for $4.. I was a happy shopper. Just a heads up on those couple of items! Oh, and it was the Oak Grover store!

I know that there are some different prices between the stores, the S&W beans at my store were higher too. However, I found some of the shelf signs to be confusing and a bit misleading. Some showed both prices, the sale price and then the .50 cents cheaper price, but most of the signs only had the sale price and not the .50 cent discount. For example, the Jello only had signs up that said 10/$10, but when I scanned a box of the jello at the self – price check scanners it first showed 10/$10 and then it said, .50 when you buy 10. I would encourage you to try and scan some of the items at your store and see how they ring up. It could be that your store is just more expensive, but it might be worth a try if you go again.

My local Fred Meyer ad does not show the Buy 10, Save $5 Mega Sale, does this mean my local Fred Meyer is not participating in this event?

jeana November 7, 2011 at 11:55 pm

It was in last weeks add and goes through this Saturday. My ad didnt advertise it either this week.

Which FM market is this in? I don’t see this in our local ads in the Bothell area? Can anyone confirm…????

Andy November 8, 2011 at 4:12 pm

AFAIK, this isn’t in the AD anywhere…

The tags, however, are still up throughout the store and they all list this Saturday as the end date.

That said, still going strong in Seattle this week.

Just to be clear, wasn’t in THIS WEEK’s ad anywhere. Of course they were in last week’s ad everywhere.

Just had a great trip with this! Also on this promotion are Doritos which makes an 11.5oz bag $2. Not too bad (seems like that is what it usually is on sale around 4th of July, Labor Day, etc). Thanks so much for posting this…I wouldn’t have known about this!

Question on the Jell-O…my ad shows 10/$10, not $.50/ea or that this is part of the Buy 10, Save $5. Can anyone confirm the $.50 price??? Thanks in advance.

I can confirm the Jello promotion is apart of the buy 10 save $5, I purchased 3boxes and on the receipt it rang up $1 than .50 was taken off under Mega Event =.50 a box!

Pam November 7, 2011 at 5:18 pm

Thanks so much!!! Will head over there tomorrow to use my coupons & pick up some cheap Jell-O!

jeana November 7, 2011 at 11:51 pm

Yes it is part of the sale. There is also a tear pad or a recipe booklet with the holiday ziploc containers withe a coupon for $1.25 off of 3. This makes them .08 cents each :)

I couldn’t find the $1.25/3 coupon and I was super sad, but then I found the recipe booklet and it was $1/1 so I ended up getting the jello (and pudding which was also included in the mega event) for free. Not too bad for a newbie :)
