Just thought I’d let everyone know that I tried the All/Wisk deal and the e-coupon loaded, but the ad coupon only discounted $.60 instead of $1.60, so it ended up being $1.99 instead of $.99. I’m thinking it won’t let you stack the Ad Coupon and E-Coupon.
I read on Frugal Chic Living to hand over all your paper coupons (man. and in-ad) first, then hand over your card. The total amount of your paper coupons will be deducted before the e-coupon. Looks like the only way to make it work! Sorry to those who did it already..
I am seeing people say that you have to give the cashier the store coupon first and your card with the ecoupon second. I am going to give that a try tomorrow. Did they scan your card before the store coupon?
Yes I went through the self checkout and scanned my card first thing.
I did find a good deal on body wash, they have the Gillette Mens body wash for $2.99, with a $2/1 coupon it was $.99.
They have similar deal on Men’s Dove at Safeway, but you must buy 3 , use 3 coupons from the Feb Booklet $1/1 any Mens Dove and use your doubles. Tomorrow is the last day of the deal.
I emailed it in last week, but it never made the blog.
I have a questions. How did you load coupons on your Fred Meyers card, when i went to load coupons it did not give me a option for a Fred Meyers card. Am I missing something ? In the list of stores I did not see Fred Meyers. I have a Fred Meyers in my town/ Help in Idaho! Thanks
Do you have a Frugal Living cook book?
I have a question about e-coupons. I loaded my fred meyer card with the coupon for the ALL detergent and when I checked out it showed up on the screen that it took it off but it didn’t really I also used the coupon so my total should have been $ .99 but it was $1.99 how do the ecoupons work? the checker even knew that it should have only been $.99 but didn’t know how the ecoupons worked. Could someone please explain if they know. Thanks
Same thing happend to me too with the e-coupon. I also went through the self checkout and scanned my card before the coupons.
I had two rewards cards that I loaded to, so I was able to try it two different ways. The first time I went through, I used my card first, followed by the coupons. The store coupon deducted only $.60 for the All, and $2.20 for the Wisk. I explained the the checker that the total off should have brought the price of the detergents down the $2.99 each, and she manually took off the remainder (yay, two detergents for $1.48, my Wisk e-coupon was for $1.50). Next I went through and handed over all of my coupons first. I didn’t run my card until I saw that the store coupon had correctly deducted $1.60 for the All and $3.70 for the Wisk. When I scanned my card, nothing happened. The e-coupons wouldn’t load because the store coupon was on the register. for some reason it won’t let you use both, no matter which way you run it. In the end, I still have my two e-coupons loaded to my other rewards card, but I don’t think I’ll be using them any time soon.
Andrea – Did your cashier seem to have a knowledge about the ecoupons? I am a cashier (occasionally) at the Clackamas FM and while we get bulletins or “read and signs” on a weekly basis about new programs, I have never seen any new policies or procedures about e-coupons. The only way I know about them is because I’m a couponer.
Will the FM ecoupons only deduct from one item each, or multiple items?
from one item – example, I bought 2 All detergents last night, the e-coupon was deducted from one but not the other
So I went to Fred Meyer today and tried to use the ecoupon on All without success. I bought two, so thought 1 paper coupon and 1 ecoupon may work, but only the paper one showed up. Then I went to customer service-asked them if they knew anything about ecoupons-they said no-had only vaguely heard of them-no training on it (she was very nice though). So I returned one bottle and had her ring it up again-by itself with my card, but the ecoupon still didn’t work. (No one was in line, so I didn’t feel bad taking up time.) So I just returned it.
She did give me the rewards customer service number: 866-518-2686, don’t know if they will know anything either-has anyone tried yet?
