Pictured in the ad are storage bags in 17- and 22-count pkgs.
NOTE: the Tillamook BOGO cpn is still available this morning at coupons.com

Howard January 20, 2013 at 2:14 pm

Progresso Light soup is 8 for $10 making them $1.25 each not .80 cents each. So after coupon they are $1.00 each. When I first looked at the add I too thought they were 10 for $8. Also there are progresso light coupons coming in tomorrow’s paper for .25cents off 1 can of light so you won’t need to print them.

Howard January 19, 2013 at 4:22 pm

And there were $.25/1 Light soup cpns also in the 1-6 SS. Also some Progresso $.50/2 cpns in 1-6 SS. I usually save my Prog cpns until I can get them somewhere for less than a buck.

Thanks, I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought that through wrong. Changed :)

Did anyone get the FM mailer today? It has a $1/2 Progresso Light soup cpn, exp date 3-31, as well as some other dandy cpns. Although they have the FM logo, they are mfr cpns and I think Safeway will accept them too.

Yesterday I received a BOGO coupon via email that can be used for any simple truth products!

Awesome! There are great sales for the Simple Truth products as they are trying to promote them.

Yeah milk is cheap again! I buy the max 4, I use my own bag to get that $.05 credit and walk out of the store with 2 gallons of milk for $3.91 or $1.95 a gallon and it thrills me! I have to do this a few times a week so that we survive until the next sale but not a bad deal for milk.

Reply

Bethany January 21, 2013 at 1:38 pm

Winco has them for .98 limit of four.

Reply

Janene Jones January 21, 2013 at 6:05 pm

is that always? I never got milk at Winco. I’ve gotta start exploring other stores.

Reply

Howard January 22, 2013 at 11:03 am

JJ, that Winco price must be temporary to beat the FM 99-cent price of the past two weeks. I think Winco has been charging about $2.68 a gallon for milk. Safeway and FM are now charging $2.49 for their cheapest gallons, so Winco probably will be $2.48 once the FM sale ends Sat.

charolyn January 25, 2013 at 10:26 pm

If you have the 20% at rite aid-it is just a little over $2 for a gallon. I get it there regularly. Also I am a little fussy on milk-as I think some taste funny & I like rite aid (also safeway & fred meyer).

Is it true that FM will only take 5 manufacturer coupons per transaction on a given item?

Reply

Howard January 20, 2013 at 8:49 am

I’ve heard that rumor from other people posting here. Maybe it’s on their website under cpn policy.

Reply

Laura, SW Pdx January 20, 2013 at 10:16 am

Raleigh Hills doesnt seem to care how many you use. Yesterday, I used 5 reach for free dental floss, 6 free good n natural bars, 8 pure protein coupons, 9 snapware (they have a b2g1 free going right now on containers) all in one transaction.

Reply

Cheron January 20, 2013 at 10:17 pm

How many snapware coupons can you use on the b2g1? Do they except 2 or 3?

Reply

Laura, SW Pdx January 21, 2013 at 7:52 am

They took 3 snapware coupons on the b1g1 free!

Reply

Renee January 20, 2013 at 10:42 am

That is true, it’s in their coupon policy. Also, only two internet printed coupons are accepted per customer, per manufacturer per day. I have talked with friends who work at FM and they don’t know the coupon policy as well as I do… However, some do, and I have noticed some checkers separate my printed coupons from the rest and count everything out. I will make multiple trips in the week if the deal is worth it, and even with that and knowing that others do that too, the shelves are always stocked at FM.

I got an email yesterday from MyInsite (previously Pssst, a General Mills thing) with a link to a coupon for $1.25/4 any flavor Progresso soup. I don’t know if this coupon is just linked to my email or not, but I don’t eat Progresso, so even if it is, here’s the link and maybe someone can use it :) :

Boy do you people shop and shop and shop, do you work real jobs and or volunteer at all? Gasoline is not cheap, you all seem to really stock up a lot, you must be retired with lots of dough…I read your comments and it seems a lot of people stock up the you know what, that is all fine and well, but do you have huge families to feed and can you use the stuff before it gets old..I donate a lot and work at a food pantry that is where my food goes to, many help me get the necessary proteins for people who work many jobs..Maybe you all could leave some items for those of us who work and donate a lot it would be really really helpful!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Reply

Tammy January 21, 2013 at 11:52 am

Well my real job would be the six kids I am raising. My volunteering would be at my children’s school where the teachers just can’t seem to have enough days off to get homework checked over. Feeding a family of eight on one income is not cheap and I am very thankful for each person that finds the time to leave their comments on this website. Helpful comments that is. Oh, and the people at my local Mission where I drop any extra each week also appreciate the people on this website. Perhaps you should not make presumptions.

I too, work full time as does my husband. We also have children to feed and often volunteer with our kids as a family to help others that are less fortunate than ourselves. So I agree, you really should keep your assumptions to yourself. At the end of the day, were all just trying to make ends meet.

Luree January 22, 2013 at 7:57 pm

to mmmmmm! FYI who ever hurt you, it wasen’t us. Sounds like you need some healing. please don’t vent to honest couponers trying to do the best for our families. and having fun doing it.

Reply

Angie January 23, 2013 at 11:32 am

These are tough times for most families. I don’t think people clipping coupons and trying to stretch their dollar to feed their familes is doing anyone any harm. Maybe some of us are avoiding having to ask for assistance from organizations such as yours by clipping coupons and shopping smartly, thereby leaving more for the people you are currently serving. Spend your time more productively instead of trolling sites like these. Geez.

m January 25, 2013 at 4:07 pm

@mmmmmmm, Couponing is a job. Times are hard and I will coupon to stretch our budget. I also make sure not to clear shelves, but with more and more couponers, empty shelves are bound to happen. The good news is, most stores give out rainchecks. You should have no problem getting in on most deals. You can also call certain stores and special order items :)

I find that the people who brag the most about what they give actually give the least. Most people give anonymously. I’m sure there are lots of us here who do.
Are you saying everything should be left on the shelf for YOU to buy? Since you said you donate “a lot”?
Your comments are always so negative. Why do you come here??

Barilla pasta is on sale for $1, including White Fiber, whole wheat, and Smart Taste. Less the $1/2 coupon. $0.50 each

Reply

Howard January 24, 2013 at 4:00 pm

24 cents each at Safeway with that cpn and doubler, although I hear that not all of the 4 varieties on the cpn are at the 99-cent sale price there.
