Zevia is 3.99 this week, there is a $2 coupon on the website that makes them 1.99 per 6 pack. Not a bad deal if you couldn’t do the Whole Foods deal and get them free.

The variety of aspirin that I bought was $3.27, but I was surprised to see that there is also a $3 Catalina when you buy 2 Bayer products

Bummer! I checked this yesterday before going out and buying a bag of Tully’s coffee at FM. Wish it had been noted how much cheaper it would be today, as I see a coupon in today’s insert it is only two bags for $9! I used two coupons yesterday for the one bag, but it was still almost double this price (had I used one of those coupons today)–ouch!!!

David, I don’t drink coffee, do you want my coupons?

Reply

Howard June 24, 2013 at 4:10 pm

Technically you can return the coffee (with the receipt) and buy it again with the in-ad cpn for $4.50 a bag. Sometimes customer service will do this for you just by using the receipt w/o the product.

Howard, thanks, your suggestion worked! They refunded the price I paid with just the receipt, then charged me the discounted price with the coupon. He said I could return it “the long way” (by bringing the bag back–though I’d already used it), but he was happy to refund it the short way. And Adriana, thanks, but I’m good.

Walgreens has the TEN calorie sodas (7UP, A&W, Sunkist, Canada Dry) for $.88 (limit 3). You can use the 6-9 SS cpn, as I did, and get them for $.13. Or use the $1/3 cpn and pay $1.64 for 3. I have two of each cpn, so I will buy 8 over 3 visits and pay $3.54 + deposit for 8 bottles.

FM has Fresh Express and Dole salad blends bags BOGO this week. These are the $1.88-$1.98 blends, NOT the more expensive kits.

Where is the mom’s best coupon? Has anyone been able to get it?

Reply

Howard June 22, 2013 at 7:38 pm

Rec’d email today from FM with a link to a load to card coupon for 2X fuel rewards points from 6-23 to 7-31. You may be able to spot it by going directly to fredmeyer.com and looking there. Safeway also has had a recent, similar promo at J4U, and they recently modified their fuel reward program to virtually match Freddie’s–and added some Chevron and Texaco stations.

And its interesting how Safeway added a .10 cent cash or debit bonus.

You have to be signed up for their emails in order to get the 2x fuel points.

Howard June 24, 2013 at 4:03 pm

The FM cashier Sunday asked me if I wanted 2X fuel points as soon as I hit the checkout line. I told her I’d already downloaded it, but I guess she could have input it at the register.
