so I’m not near my binder but I think I’ve got $.55/1 (or $.55/2) for the eggs
It’s $.55 on two dozen, which may or may not work on the 18-count size. Might work on two 18-count cartons.
When I was at Fred Meyer Friday, all basic Matchbox cars, trucks, etc were on sale for $ .60 with coupon hanging by display and all other Matchbox toys were 50% off with coupon handing by display
Thanks!
Kate (or any of you!),
What are your thoughts on Fred Meyer chicken (on sale for $1.88/lb) vs. the Zaycon chicken?
I think $1.88/lb is a good in-store price for that grade of chicken.
I don’t do Zaycon, but I paid $1.88 last week at Albertson’s for the same fresh chicken.
I REALLY like the Zaycon. I feel like it’s much more moist than most store bought chicken. It also doesn’t have that sometimes almost fishy smell that chicken sometimes gets. The only downside to Zaycon is the initial processing (splitting the breasts and removing the silver skin–at least I think that’s what it’s called). Since I first tried out Zaycon, I haven’t bought chicken anywhere else. From what I understand, their April event is the only one till this Fall. I’d try them
I really like Zaycon. I’ve never tried Fred Meyer so I can’t comment on how it tastes (but I think all chicken tastes the same
)
It’s a good price if you’re not into buying a large amount at one time. I prefer to buy alot at once to have it on hand.
To paraphrase an old cliche, chicken tastes like frogs’ legs.
i’ve never heard that one
If you are buying a lot how much is a lot and what do you think is a good price for those large purchases?
The last couple of times I bought chicken breast from Fred Meyer they were really tough, I was dissapointed
I have had that with albertsons before. Sad part was they were cooked beautifully and tough as an old sock.
I have gotten the freddies chicken 3 times now, and have also bought Zaycon. They both cook up beautifully. I prefer the smaller batches, and thought there was a little less to trim off than Zaycon. It’s easier to budget for me and Freddies seems to have this sale at least once a month.
Was at Freddy’s last night and was able to easily (finally) use my Neutrogena $5/2 coupon on soaps – they’re priced there for $2.87 and the coupon rang up with no problem (end price .37 each).
While looking at soaps, I also found a deal on Simple products – there is a $3 in store coupon next to them, and it worked even on the facial wipes which were priced $3.99, so I got them for .99! Not sure if it would work with the buy one get wipes for free coupon from last Sunday’s paper or not…
Awesome – Thanks Meg! Have been awaiting a deal to use this nice Neutrogena q with.
Where did the neutrogena cpn come from?
2-24 SS. There was a lot of debate over whether this “hair/hands/face” product could be used on bar soaps (it didn’t work for me at Target, did work for others).
Cascadia Farm organic cereals are priced at $2.99 in the ad. There is a $1 coupon on Facebook. I used my husband’s Facebook account and mine and got 4-$1 coupons. Freddie’s had the hang tag for Buy 4 Cereals, Get Gallon of Milk Free (or 1/2 gallon of organic milk). I got 4 boxes of organic cereal and the organic milk for $8 total. I am pleased!
