After being away at the beach for the weekend I couldn’t pass up heading to Fred Meyer tonight for a sweet deal on Hefty One-zip freezer bags, produce and FREE Carnation Instant breakfast. Here’s what I bought for $7.46.

I did not realize how expensive the Hefty One Zips are!! They are regualr price of $3.39? at Fred Meyer and $3.89! at QFC
I am under the assumption that you can only use 5 of the same coupon for transactions such as these. Were some of these seperate purchases?
No. Since the Hefty coupons are each off 2 items – I only used 4 coupons for my 8 Hefty bags.
Not only that, but her cpns were not identical (2 @ $1.50, 2 @ $1). I used 3 of the former, 2 of the latter to get 10 boxes for $3.50. On that subject, though, I think some people have posted that FM won’t allow more than 5 TOTAL mfr cpns. That’s never happened to me; yesterday I used 5 Hefty cpns, 2 Tillamooks, 1 Kleenex, plus the downloaded Carnation cpn and an in-ad store cpn for OJ.
If you read their coupon policy, it states that they wont allow more then 5 identical coupons in the same transaction. But not everyone follows this rule… Ive used 50+ coupons of the same in one transaction, but i have noticed that some stores are starting to follow that rule better… But it says per transaction, so just do more then one transaction if you have more then 5 same coupons! =)
I get the register guard in eugene, OR, and I didn’t see a hefty coupon for either of the inserts mentioned. Does anybody know if I am blind?
I’m hoping that Fred Meyer is well stocked on the Hefty bags since I cannot make it until Wednesday! Finally a great price on bags.

I didn’t get any Hefty coupons either, and I got coupons from my cousin in Idaho, and there was non there either.
