Fred Meyer: Snapware as low as $.49

by Kate from Frugal Living NW on January 6, 2013

I’m loving all these new coupons. Here’s one I just spotted that will score you a deal on Snapware at Fred Meyer. These are great little containers for school lunches

Snapware on sale $2.49 – $2.99
Use $2/1 coupon from 1/6 SS insert
As low as $.49 after coupon

You can now only redeem 5 like coupons in one transaction, which means that if you have more than 5 coupons, you’ll need to split your transaction or do the second transaction in a different trip.

Find more Fred Meyer deals here.

There’s also a store coupon for 20% off housewares and one for 10% off home. I’d think one of them would work, making the Snapware even cheaper!

In theory, both cpns might work, because the 20% cpn can be combined with the 10% bonus cpn. Thanks for the tips, Kris and Kate.

I thought you couldn’t use 2 manufactures coupons on one product. How can you use them both for one snapware?

You’d be using one mfr cpn for $2, plus the store discount cpns of 20% and/or 10%. Common practice.

Howard..my goof, I was looking at a $1 coupon(multi-tasking) when I was typing this..lol Now..if this was closer to Feb(or just wait til then) and it is still a great price, then us seniors (55+) can gain an addt. %10 off as well.

Hi Liz,

I live in Portland, but if you’re not going to use the Barilla pasta coupon in today’s paper, I’d be happy to paypal you $1 for a stamp and envelope to send me however many you have. Feel free to email me at stef1213 at hotmail dot com.

Thanks, Stefanie

I havnt read this weeks coupons fine print, but it usually excludes storage. I have unsuccessfully tried in the past to use the 10% home coupon and it was a no go “(

MaryBeth January 6, 2013 at 6:35 pm

I was just going to say this same thing. I have been unable to use either of the home coupons on storage items.

Instead of using the $2 coupons at Fred Meyer, I popped over to WalMart as they had red/green holiday Snapware storage at a greatly reduced price. The 4 tiered were $5.97 and the huge(I mean HUGE!) 2 tiered were $8.47. It was worth going there for sure. More bang for my buck!

Was just at the Beaverton Fred Meyer and the 20% off houseware coupon did not work. It does say it excludes storage. :-(

Neither store cpn worked at Burlingame this morning. The cashier didn’t seem to care, although she did try both of them twice each. I marched over to Cust Service, and they guy did a manual transaction (had to “return” both items I bought, ring them up again, then pull out a calculator to compute the 2 discounts). He ended up giving me $1.51 back in cash, which made this a moneymaker for me ($2.59 X 2 orig price, less $4 in cpns, less $1.51 cash).

The reason it didn’t work with first cashier is because the fred meyer coupon excludes storage ie snapware
