*HOT* Fred Meyer: 32% off all LEGO and LEGO Friends sets through 8/15

by Angela Davis on August 11, 2013

UPDATE: There seems to be some confusion on this deal. The LEGO sets are not “on sale” (the only reduced price was the LEGO Friends set in the picture above). You’re using the two Fred Meyer coupons listed below to get 32% off the ticketed prices.

Oh, the Friends & Family Pass deals keep getting better. All LEGO sets are over 30% off at Fred Meyer through Thursday (8/15) when you use the 20% off Toys coupon from the weekly ad and the 15% off Friends & Family coupon.

Here’s an example of the deals you can get:

LEGO Friends Set on sale $3.99
Use 20% off Toys coupon
Use 15% off F&F coupon
$2.71 after coupon
*This is a 32-ish% discount. LEGO Friends are the sets made for girls. Your store may not have this set on sale for $3.99, but it’s regularly priced at $4.99, which still makes a great deal.

Awesome story — Willy (7) and I spent about 10 minutes groping Minifigure packages trying to find the one figure he was hoping for. There were about 743 packages available (ok, exaggerating a bit) and WE PICKED THE RIGHT ONE. Did you hear us screaming in delight all the way home from your house?

LEGO Minifigures — $2.99
Use 20% off Toys coupon
Use 15% off F&F coupon
$2.03 after coupon

The two Fred Meyer coupons will work on any LEGO set Fred Meyer carries and obviously almost every other item in the Toy Department. Considering LEGO discounts are extremely rare (and there are NEVER good deals on LEGO Friends), this a stock-up sale. Like buy your LEGOs for Christmas type of sale. Don’t email asking me about LEGO discounts in December because I will smack you over the internet. Go shopping now.

The 20% off Toys coupon is located at the bottom of the inside flap of coupons attached to the back page of the first ad section (confusing, eh?). If you can’t find it, just ask for a coupon at your store’s customer service desk or at the register. Your cashier always has the Fred Meyer coupons available — you just need to ask for them!

Thank you for posting this. My son really wanted the Lone Ranger Train Set for his birthday. Was able to pick it up for $65 – great deal!

I went to the Fred Meyers in Tigard today and I couldn’t find the 20% in the ad. What sections is it in? Or can I print it off online?

It’s at the bottom of one of the inside flaps. Ask at customer service for it. They are usually very helpful and will find you one.

LOVE your story of groping Lego packages :-) What we won’t do to get what we really want!!!!

Thanks for all you do for us!!

The location on Columbia House Blvd in Vancouver, WA doesn’t have them on sale either. They do have toys on 40% off clearance price. I tried to stack that with the 20% off Toys coupon in the ad, but looking at my receipt, it doesn’t look like both came off…??

Ruth August 12, 2013 at 7:35 pm

Nevermind I see the coupon says that it excludes clearance. :)

Thank you! I just saved over $100 at Fred Meyer today with those coupons!!

Amazon has the Ninjajo Golden Dragon for 24.47 and a coupon toy 20% As an Amazon Mom with Prime, you are eligible for 20% off with promo code TOYS2013 comes out cheaper then the Fred Meyer Sale.

Amazon 24.47 – 20 % = 19.57
Fred Meyer 29.99 – 30% = 20.99

Just Saying! If your counting your nickles like me Amazon is a better deal no gas cost or disapointment of selling out!

Sara and Elizabeth, the 20% off is a coupon in the ad. The 15% is a friends and family coupon. I just asked my cashier and she gave me a friends and family coupon.

Love that paragraph too! Now, I better get shopping before you do that smacking…

No lego sale in Bellingham either. But, thanks for the toy coupon tip. I missed that! It’s still a good combo of coupons this week.

Elizabeth August 12, 2013 at 1:37 pm

Just went to the Clackamas location and they didn’t have this sale going on. Too bad for me but good luck to the rest of you.

Angela August 12, 2013 at 9:42 pm

It’s NOT a sale. The LEGOs are regularly priced. You’re using the two Fred Meyer coupons listed in the post above to get 32% off.

Being long time lego fans-I can attest that this is about the best deal you will find :-) ONE time only, I did get a large set 50% off, on a target toy clearance-but that was many years ago & I keep looking, but haven’t seen one again.

Do happen to know if the Lone Ranger Train Set was on sale? I am living in another state right now, but just might have to have a family member go buy the set! :)

Angela August 12, 2013 at 7:44 am

Yes, the Lone Ranger sets are included. I’m not kidding, EVERY set is included. They had 3-4 Lone Ranger sets at the stores I went to.

Squishing lego packages is how I spent part of my weekend too! I didn’t hear your squeals of delight over my own though (I found Medusa)!!

Cristie August 11, 2013 at 11:10 pm

You crack me up! I was so tickled by your last paragraph that I laughed out loud, which spurred interest by my husband. I read it to him, and he didn’t find it quite as humorous…but he’s also not the one that’s rushed to Target on the clearance sale, praying for a 50% off package just waiting for me!
