I have been on a 3 year hiatus from couponing (life circumstances), but this GM deal has me excited to brush off the dust and head to Freddy’s. I actually “woo-hoo’d” to my husband down the hall that I’m excited to get back to couponing! Thank you for all your scenarios.

Moneymaker on Totino’s (I can’t stand the stuff, but my son likes it):
Print two $1/3 cpns from their FB page, buy 6 for $6.78, pay $4.78 and receive $5 FM cat. I printed the cpns but haven’t tried this yet.

Reply

Howard June 8, 2013 at 4:17 pm

Actually they were 3 for $4, so I paid $8 for 6, less $2 for the $1/3 cpns. $1 net cost after $5 cat for six pizzas.

Is that picture above from the catalina promotion, or was it just used as an example? I have a bunch of $1/1 c/o’s I am dying to use.

Kate from Frugal Living NW June 6, 2013 at 12:33 pm

It was a general picture from the General Mill’s site. I couldn’t find the promotion online. What product were you looking to use your Q’s on?

Jackie June 6, 2013 at 2:41 pm

THX. I figured I’d just go down there and see for myself. BTW, Mountain High Yogurt tubs are included at 2.49.

Will Fred Meyer Double any of the cpn with a safeway dbl? i have heard back and forth that the fred meyer in Albany will use safeway dbls (only one tho)

Reply

Emily June 5, 2013 at 7:19 pm

I always bring a doubler to use with my coupons at the Fred Meyer in Albany. They take off two dollars.

Reply

Angela June 5, 2013 at 10:11 pm

No, FMs do not take competitor’s double coupons except for a handful of stores in the Albany/Corvallis area.

stephanie June 6, 2013 at 9:10 am

Correct, my Eugene store used to, but stopped.

Reply

Bailey June 5, 2013 at 7:30 am

To answer your question Stacy you can use military manufacturer coupon anywhere it doesn’t restrict only at military stores

I was just going to post this. They Cascadian Farms cereals were not included at my store either. They were $2.99 a box

I went today and got 2 boxes of multigrain cheerios, 2 boxes regular cheerios, 2 boxes of honey nut medley crunch, and 4 boxes of betty crocker cake mix. After CATs it comes to .50 each! So excited for such good deals!

Reply

Rachel June 4, 2013 at 5:48 pm

I also went and noticed the Yoplait frozen smoothies are part of it. 2/$4

Reply

Howard June 4, 2013 at 5:47 pm

I believe there was a $.75/3 cpn for Helpers in this past Sunday’s paper, which could help lower the cost when combined with two other items, especially something that has a cents off on two cpn. Might be a little better than using the $.80/4 cpn on the Helpers.

rosie June 4, 2013 at 3:43 pm

Can you roll the cats?

Reply

Howard June 4, 2013 at 5:45 pm

Yes.

Savings star has some of these coupons too for even more savings :-)

When a MQ has on it MILITARY COUPON, can that coupon be used
anywhere? or just at a commissary? TIA

Reply

Kate from Frugal Living NW June 4, 2013 at 11:23 am

Good question. I believe it’s only the commissary but other readers will have to weigh in on that one.

Reply

Dallin June 4, 2013 at 11:02 am

Can you use the catalina on an immediate transaction or do you have to wait a certain amount of time?

Reply

Dallin June 4, 2013 at 11:03 am

Sry, I meant immediately following transaction

Reply

Kate from Frugal Living NW June 4, 2013 at 11:23 am

Nope, you can use it right away.

Reply

Double checked and its the 14 oz size

Reply

Paige June 4, 2013 at 9:46 am

Coupon Question: In order to get a Store Promo Catalina to print at Fred Meyer’s; do you have to do separate transactions, or can you check out all at once and then each Catalina will print? I’m Catalina shy as they haven’t worked in the past for me… thanks!

Reply

Kimberley June 4, 2013 at 10:19 am

You can do up to four sets of 5 (20 items) in one transaction. If they don’t print go to the customer service and they can force them to print.

Reply

Paige June 4, 2013 at 11:01 am

Thank you Kimberley I appreciate your response. :)
