*HOT* Fred Meyer: LeapPad 2 for just $65

by Angela Davis on November 18, 2012

Here’s how to  get a substantial discount on the LeapPad 2 at Fred Meyer:

LeapPad 2 priced at $99.99
Use 25% off Fred Meyer Toy coupon (-$25)
Use $10 off $50+ purchase coupon from weekly ad (I don’t remember where this coupon is from but it exists from some paper…)
$64.99 after coupons

This is by far the best deal you will find on the LeapPad 2. Please, please, please don’t wait for a better price during the Black Friday sales. It won’t happen. And for all that is good and jolly, don’t wait until a week before Christmas to buy this thing. LeapFrog is pretty good at making their new products a hot commodity and retailers tend to run out of stock (which creates panic among parents and grandparents, which makes everyone want to buy one or ten).

The 25% off toy coupon is valid through Wednesday, but the LeapPad 2 will definitely be sold out before then. It might not make it before church gets out this morning (which I have to leave for in moments…).

Find more Fred Meyer deals here.

Thanks, Jodi!

I went to the store on Market St in Salem and they had 3 green ones on the shelf. The checkout went perfectly smooth and the lady said they had sold out last night but got more in today so I was in luck! Thank you for posting this!

I have 5 year old twin girls who just had a birthday, and I had no good Christmas thoughts yet… thanks for the wonderful tip! Went to Freddy’s in Salmon Creek yesterday, there were plenty there, and with the extra little coupons i had that they send home quarterly, I got each for about $60! Woohoo! (And with a few extra groceries thrown in, we got the free turkey, too! :)

I got one at the fred meyer on NE Glisan and 60 something. They had 4 more on the shelf after I grabbed mine.

Now, I bought this because my mom wanted to get it for my son for Christmas and I told her about the good price. I’ve kind of purposely ignored/remained oblivious to tablets for adults and don’t know WTF this thing actually is. Why are they so great?

I got mine just barely, The fred meyer worker was stashing them behind the painter/hardware counter and when I asked for one she rudely handed one over and said that she was putting them there because “There wasn’t a shelf tag, for them” WRONG because I was there the day before price checking them and they had a shelf tag then!! Seems like they don’t want people to snatch up this awesome deal, or they’re saving them for themselves!

This worked great!! They had 3 left at the Freddy’s in Hillsboro and my hubby got all 3 for friends and family. The 25% off Toys you can print line and the $10 off $50 is online as well ($10/$50,$20/$100 and $30/$150)

I’m assuming she’s referring to the coupon on the bottom of the front page of the Fred Meyer ad- it says “Save $30 when you spend $150, Save $20 when you spend $100, Save $10 when you spend $50″ in any mix of apparel, home or electronics. Are the toys considered “home”? I think I’ve used the 10% off home coupons on toys before, so this is probably what she’s talking about. This coupon states that it can be combined with bonus coupons.

I’m wondering, could you add something small in to get your total over $100, use the coupon to save $20, then use the 25% off after that? Or does the 25% come off first?

The 25% came off first. The coupon does include toys. Hope that helps :)

Just ran to my car and went to the gresham freddies. I was able to purchase a leap pad 2 and a princess pack leap pad 2 for a total of $142.50. Retail $230. Both coupons were accepted and since I spent more than $150 I got $30 off. Great deal. There were no more on the shelf at this fred meyers

I don’t see the $10/$50 coupon in the freddys ad. Also, I noticed the 25% cotton states you can’t combine with a bonus coupon. Is there a way around this?

The $10/$50 can be found on freddys website to print. The 25% off toy coupon is a bonus coupon and the $10/$50 is an online savings certificate. It doesn’t appear that either restrict the use of using the second coupon.

They’ll let you use both coupons in one transaction, even if I only bought the leappad?
