Last time I checked New Seasons was 65+, but Freddies is 55+. Does anyone have a definitive answer on New Seasons Senior Wednesday’s age cutoff?

With Walgreens, at least the one I work for, to get the senior discount, the person has to ask for it when we have a senior day.

Got a 1-liter Crest Pro-Health Complete mouthwash today for $.15. $4.29 sale price less $.64 senior discount less $1.50 cpn less $2 RR. Not bad for a near-$7 item.

Weird–the FM cashier scanned the sr citizen bar code at the register after I asked. It took 10% off of the FM OJ; then she scanned the in-ad OJ cpn and it took the price down to $1.25, the same as it is for any non-senior with the in-ad cpn. Not a big deal, but it could be if you’re buying something pricier with a store cpn.

New Seasons is 10 percent off for older citizens, Chucks produce is 10 percent off on Tuesdays, Sonic is 10 percent off everyday for food for older citizens, ask if they don’t do it at most stores, retail, grocery, restaurants you will know, saved a bundle at New Seasons at the holidays, the deli/bakery is sweet, got that banana cake for $5.99 then remembered the 10 percent off the fellow is a favorite of mine, I got two at Christmas for only about $8.00 last of the sheet, it tasted better than Larson’s famous banana cake and cost a lot cheaper and got a free cup of coffee to boot..!

For Walgreens, you can also be as young as 50 if an AARP member.
