I went into Rite Aid today to do the Revlon tool deal. I found out that the ad that came out for Salem, Or. does not say anything about the $3 up, nor the spend $5 get $1.50 scr. It does show the spend $10 get $3 scr, but that’s it. I did o.k. w/ 4 $1 Revlon tool coupons, and with b1g1 1/2 off, it was alright, but truly not the deal I was ready for. Also, the 3 pack of invisible tape at b1g1 free, was actually for the wrapping tape, single pack. Wonder why there is such a huge difference this week to your ad? It’s usually right on?

For the Revlon deal, that was my mistake. It looks like only certain makeup tools and applicators count, so I crossed that deal off the list. Sorry for the confusion there!

The ad I went off of showed all Rite Aid tape is BOGO, not just individual items. Could they have been all out or just not marked?

Thanks for the update! I think the tape was all on sale, bogo, but only the single had the $3 scr…I am going to submit it to make sure it goes through, and if not, I will call them. Thanks for always replying, and for the great service you do for us!

Here’s the details of the rebate (#53):

Purchase (2) either Two-Sided Tape or Invisible Tape 3-pack, Get $3 rebate

Possibly the store just had the wrong one marked? Either way, glad you submitted it, it should go through if you did in fact buy the 3-pack!

P.S. All the rebate info I post I actually get from the online rebate list here: https://riteaid.rebateplus.com/default.asp?jse=yes

I never just go off the ad, because there are usually some size or item restrictions.

Melody August 5, 2011 at 8:37 am

Did your SCR go through? I bought two 3-packs of the Rite Aid invisible tape and my $3 SCR just got applied to my account. After tax, I paid $.50 per pack!

Whoops I mixed up my +up deals! What did work was the oral b advantage for the $10 for $30. What didn’t work is the advantage for the oral care $5 on $25. The best deal there looks like
4 crest rinse at 4/$20 with 4 $2 coupons from 7/31 PG.
Then the oral b complete or 3D action with the $3 coupon.
Pay 14.99 get $5 +up and submit for $12.99 in SCR
$3 overage!

Melody August 1, 2011 at 8:47 am

Here is the full info on the oral care promo, states ANY oral care product counts: http://www.iheartriteaid.com/2011/07/oral-care-727-927.html

So the Advantage should have counted. You could contact CS to get credit, but it looks like you already got it sorted out!

This is making me smile-there are so many +ups going on this week & month, that it definitely is hard to keep them all straight!! :-)
These blogs really help!

Kelly August 1, 2011 at 12:23 am

Watch out for the oral care +up! I tried the scenario and didn’t get credit for the oral b advantage. In the ad only the 4 pack of advantage and the pulsar count toward the $10 for $30 deal.

Since I know you read the replies, Melody, I have a couple things to share:

There is a $3 mq for the Bic Soleil razors (SS 7/10/11), expires 8/21/11. Makes for .99 for those Bic Soleil Razors, which is a great price.

The skincare coupon is dead. Meaning, if you buy a first aid item, you won’t get a new $2 skincare q. Too bad, but it was fun while it lasted!

P.S. SERIOUSLY awesome list you put together!

Great find on the Bic coupon, how did I miss that one? Bummer about the skin care coupon, I bought two bags of 100 ct cotton balls at $1 each, used a $2 skin care coupon and got both for free. It didn’t print another coupon, so I just assumed that wasn’t a participating item. Maybe I’ll hang on to the other coupon I have just in case another great deal comes along.

P.S. Thanks! This was quite a week. :)

Yep – that skincare q is good until the end of August if I recall correctly…might be something where you can get a super deal.

Which insert features the Allegra mail in rebate?

SS with Red Lobster on front. Oregonian insert #FSI-346-1 (on crease).

So is the Allegra rebate mail in not in the SS insert from the Register Guard?

Definitely a regional offer. We didn’t get it in our local Tri-Cities paper, which is lame because we are in Allergy Central over here. :)

For your efforts in running this site, I’ll gladly spring for a stamp and send you a couple Allegra forms to an address of your choice. You presumably have my email address since I entered it to leave this comment.

That’s very sweet of you to offer, but I couldn’t let you do that. We’ll survive, we found a good deal on my husband’s allergy medicine at Costco. Thank you so much though!

Are the Revlon Beauty Tools on BoG50% off for this week. It is not featured in my Rite Aid Insert. Is it regional? I do have SCR on these @ my Store. went there today and they didn’t know anything about 50% off.

You know what? I just double-checked and it is only make up applicators, brushes, sponges, wedges and mirrors. Totally my fault, I will update the post.

I can’t find the Nivea Video Values coupon. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

It was a July VV, so unless you watched it you are out of luck-sorry!

You can get the Elmer’s Disappearing Purple Glue sticks at Target for about 40 cents for a double pack.

According to coupontom there are more ben gay coupons-same values (& I had one already-so know they are out there)-5/22 RP & 6/19 RP.
Same for the bandaid & neosporin coupon, same values-5/15 RP & 6/12 RP.

do the size requirements match up for the crest prohealth rinse? Coupon good for 946mL, rite aid 473ml to L

Reply

Sarah July 30, 2011 at 2:07 pm

I would think it would work…there are 1000 ml in a liter so 946 ml would fall in the size range that is on sale!

DeAnn July 31, 2011 at 12:49 pm

When I did the Crest Pro-Health rinse deal, they rang up 4/$20 instead of the 3.99 she posted. Since I am getting the $10 SCR and I got the $5 Up reward, I didn’t make a stink about it. Strange that the ad showed both the 4/$20 deal and the $3.99 for the same product and size.

I actually posted that they were 4/$20, but there was a misprint in the ad that marked them at $3.99 as well. My stores had a note clarifying the error, they are supposed to ring up $5 each.

I tried to stack a video values coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon at my local Rite Aid and they said I can’t because they both say “manufacturer’s coupon” on them. Did the VV coupons not used to say “Manufacturer’s coupon” on them?

Reply

Melody July 29, 2011 at 8:28 pm

The VV coupons have always said manufacturer coupon, which can make it confusing. I have heard that some stores won’t accept both coupons on one item, but their coupon policy clearly states they will accept both. It actually mentions that Rite Aid coupons state “manufacturer coupon” on them.

Next time you head in to the store, take a copy of the coupon policy with you. Here’s the link: https://acrobat.com/app.html#d=DQFD8*RjgMKjhbxnEjKnuQ

I noticed yesterday that Rite Aid’s hand sanitizer (the regular size pump one) is $1 now and will run through August. That would work great with the RA $2 skin care coupon -think back to school supplies/drives, (which FYI won’t give another coupon-but all the first aid products will).
Great scenario for the $10 UP on $30 products-I am going to do it & saved my brain from having to figure it all out! I appreciate it.

Just wait. There is actually another promo that I couldn’t get to before my kids woke up from their nap. More to come, this is quite the week. :)

Melody July 29, 2011 at 9:52 pm

Scratch that. I just looked at the P&G promo and it’s LAME. If I can come up with any good scenarios, I’ll do a separate post. Otherwise, quite forgettable.
