Please note: Some prices may vary by region, especially on the BOGO deals or deals from the ad where prices aren’t listed.

{SINGLE CHECK REBATE DEALS}

Please note: The Single Check Rebate offers for April end on Tuesday 5/1 and the May offers start immediately after. I will note on each item which month the offer is from, but please be aware when you are making your shopping list this week that you may have to wait to purchase certain items.

Several blogs are reporting that Pillow Pets have been marked at 75% off, which makes the licensed Pets just $7.49 and the non-licensed just $4.99.  My local store was sold out, but keep an eye out at yours.  These would make great gifts!  My store did have their Easter accessories (baskets, Easter grass, plastic eggs) at 75% off, but the candy was still at 50% off.

Update on the ACT mouthrinse – possible moneymaker! The ACT Sensitive is not included the 2/$9 sale. BUT…there is a $2 monthly +UP printing on each bottle of Sensitive, I believe limit 2. If you have your 20% wellness discount, here’s the scenario:
Buy 2 @$4.79 each, Get $2 +UP Reward, weekly – limit 2
Buy Act Sensitive, get $2+up (monthly) Buy 2
Use (2) $2/1 Act Sensitive coupons from 4/15 SS insert
Pay $5.58, Get $6 +UP
$.42 moneymaker after +UPs

Thanks for the tip. I have a 10% discount and only one $2 cpn, so according to this I can get one for $1.39 net or 2 for $2.78. Still a good price, just not as good as with the full discount and 2 cpns.

My puffs coupon in the P&G 4/29 insert is for $0.25/3, not $0.25/1. But I did find a $1/2 coupon from a coupon mailer I received awhile ago.

And the Blink coupon seems to be gone.

Its been in their latest coupon policy for a while. You’re supposed to wait until the next day to use the +ups. Some stores still let you use them the same day, notably Tigard on Main. The Albany store absolutely will not.

Thanks. Interesting, because I don’t see anything about it in the one that is dated April 2012. Is there a link to a newer one (I tried the RA site, and it’s not clear where to look)? Or am I missing something? They told me there are “dates” you can use them, but how do you know what the dates are until you “roll” them? Sort of frustrating.

Okay, I found it, thanks. I haven’t been couponing much, and I missed the announcement. Sigh. Learned my lesson – guess I’ll use these up and be done.

My store does still allow me to roll the +UPs without any trouble. I’m not sure if this is going to be a final say type thing and will eventually be in place everywhere, or if it will be a store by store case. Is there another store that you could shop at?

Thanks, fellow Melody :) I’m 30 mins outside Corvallis, so it’s quite the trip for me, gas-wise, so I will probably only do the Rite-Aid deals if I feel like doing it all at once. It’s a bummer. The manager was really nice and said he would re-ring it up for me if I brought it back in, but I take responsibility for not reading it, so I’ll just use my $20 in +Ups for something else :) We always need milk and TP! haha.

I specifically asked at my store recently-as I heard about this& noticed the new dates & they said that was just for the test area (think that is Seattle), so around my area-Hillsboro, Beaverton that are fine with you rolling them.

Melody C May 1, 2012 at 12:56 pm

Is anyone else’s Rite Aid saying you can no longer “roll” transactions? I don’t see anything about this in their policy. I was told today that the +UPs will not activate until the next day (and she was “informing me”, so I decided not to test it). If this is so, then I’m done at RA, because I live FAR away, and the only way for me to shop there is if I can roll the +UPs to another transaction.
I am in Corvallis.

I called the store- currently you can still “roll” them, but he said they are in the process of changing their policy so you won’t be able to use +UPs on the same day you get them. This is a pretty big deal in my book. Someone may want to confirm with corporate.

I’ve mentioned this before when it came up on this site: a RA cashier showed me the latest Wellness brochure dated Jan 2012 that specified no rolling till the next day. However, that store (Tigard Main St) and the nearby one (Tigard-King City) both allow same-day rolling. I do it on an occasional basis and have seen some extreme couponers do it over and over in the same trip at both stores.

the $10 mail in rebate on the Burt’s bees ended 4/30! I was going to buy them today- glad I checked!

I successfully did the “double dip” on the L’Oreal deal tonight. I bought 5 facewashes “go360 clean” (I recommend only buying 4…) and 2 “sublime bronze.” These rang up with my 20% discount so the facewashes were 3.74 each and the bronzers 7.49 apiece. There are a million coupons in the March Red Plums.

Suggestion: 8 x 3.74 facewashes, use 8 $1 coupons, pay ~22 oop, get 20$ +up back.

The regular packs of Twizzlers (on sale 2/1.00) worked with the video values coupon, making them free.

All of my weekly deal plus ups from today printed with an expiration date of 5-5. Heads up people.

Thanks, I guess I will be heading back to RA before Sat with the $6 in UPs I earned Sunday. If I’d known about the quickie expiration, I might have rolled my purchases Sunday like the gal in front of me holding up the line. (When I roll, which is infrequent, I do it when no one else is waiting, or I get back in line, which is a bit more time-consuming, but the decent thing to do. Do unto others….)

anyone try the loreal up deal? how did it work out? did both ups print?

Reply

charolyn April 29, 2012 at 7:36 pm

I am wondering too & will try it soon.
Also today’s insert (think it was the SS-maybe RP) had a $2 off one type of Loreal face cream-which is better than the other $1 ones out there.
I did notice on my receipt today -it is still tracking the monthly one-which I have $8 towards from previous weeks, so it seems to me like both should print.

charolyn April 29, 2012 at 9:43 pm

OK-I see the $2 one was already listed above (& I had it on my list too-shouldn’t try to pass on info from memory!):
$2/1 RevitaLift CR10 coupon from 3/18 RP

Charolyn,
I think I’ll wait until you try it out. I went back to see and my receipt from last week showed it tracking $8 towards it, but my receipt today didn’t.

Reply

charolyn April 30, 2012 at 5:32 pm

Today I bought enough to get up to the $25. I bought other items first-it still said I had $8 towards the $25. with the Loreal products on the next receipt I bought a little over $17-at the bottom of that receipt it said I had $17 towards the $30-ONLY!! The cashier looked it over & said-”wierd-that should have worked”-but I didn’t get any +ups for the $25 (my plan was to use that $10 in +ups to get another item & then get the $30 one:-( So now I need to call Rite Aid-they are good about making it right, but unlikely it will get here this week.

Howard April 30, 2012 at 3:24 pm

The $10 on $25 L’Oreal is a monthly UP that expires tomorrow, May 1. Good luck to those of you who try to combine that with the new one, $10 on $30 (which evidently includes only the pictured products in Sunday’s ad).

charolyn April 30, 2012 at 5:33 pm

Thanks Howard-I will check that out-although seems like all the Loreal products today had the labels for $10 on $30 +up.

The Sunsweet prune juice cpn is good only on PlumSmart which is not part of the two for $4 deal with $1 UP. I ended up paying $2.45 net after $1 UP and one 55-ct prune cpn.

Has anyone else noticed that the rewards that printed out today 4/29 expire on 5/5.

Reply

Howard April 29, 2012 at 2:08 pm

Yes, and I was surprised too. The $10 L’Oreal UP I I got Saturday is good till May 16. I’m thinking this one-week thing might be a trend. RA had to call a 2nd cashier this morning because a woman at the one open register was rolling UPs from one transaction to the next while the rest of us grew old waiting.

Reply

Brenda April 29, 2012 at 4:50 pm

I really hope not, one of mine expires on the 4th. That’s not even a full week!
If they do change the expiration dates, they could at least be upfront about it. Now I have $25 UpR’s to spend in a week!
Grrr…okay, I’ll stop grumbling now.

Reply

charolyn April 29, 2012 at 7:34 pm

Thanks for the heads up-I wouldn’t even think to check-would just assume I had two weeks! :-(
You might try the Loreal deal-should be 2 ups-the monthly $10/25 spent & this week $10/$30 spent-I hope someone reports if this is actually working. I will try after I get all my other items for the week-as then I will be stuck with a big $10+up.

I bought 4 L’oreal haircolors for daughter at $8.09 each after 10% Wellness discount (in two different purchases) and got the $10 UP on the 2nd visit when I exceeded $25. That receipt also showed I had $7 toward L’Oreal UP, so I’d infer from that that you can earn more than one UP.

Howard April 30, 2012 at 3:28 pm

I noticed that pretty quickly, too, but thought that the expiration date was next Sunday. It’s actually Saturday, which stinks, I agree. In hindsight, I wouldn’t have bought those 4 boxes of Hot Tamales Sunday!

Rite Aid posted on their Facebook Wall that there was an error with their +UP Reward printing the wrong date and they would be valid until a later date… HTH! :)

Howard May 1, 2012 at 5:36 pm

Thanks for that info, but it came a bit too late for me.
I went back to RA today and talked to a longtime cashier who is now a good friend. She called someone (manager?) after I mentioned the May 5 expirations, which she didn’t even know about. That person told her it was a “fluke” and occurred only on certain products, like the Sucrets, candy boxes and prunes. (I think it printed May 5 on everything, but who knows?) She didn’t say a word about a later expiration date, so I bought some cran juice and Dove bars, using all of the 5-5 UPs, and got a new UP that expires May 19.

Howard May 1, 2012 at 8:50 pm

Rite Aid
We apologize for the +UP expiration date issue some of you have experienced. Due to a system problem, +UPs that printed on Sunday and Monday in our Weekly Ad (4/29-5/5) had an incorrect expiration date. These +UPs are valid through 5/19 and will scan correctly at the register.

Thanks everyone for passing on the info-that is a huge relief because if you can’t use this week’s +ups for next week-that takes almost all of the incentive away to do this!

Vicky April 29, 2012 at 1:12 pm

I bought 4 of the colgate sensitive pro-relief toothpaste, used 4-$1.00 coupons and got back 4-$2.50 +ups and 1-$10.00 +up.

The Sunsweet prunes coupon printed as 55 cts, not 75 cts.
The juice cpn did print as 75 cts.

I recieved a coupon on the bottom of my receipt for Colgate pro sensitive relief toothpaste…does anybody know if this can be stacked with a manufacturers coupon?

Reply

charolyn April 28, 2012 at 6:27 pm

Yes it can-because it is a rite aid coupon (can also tell because the code starts with RC49)-which can be added to the manu coupons listed above. This would also apply to video value coupons & the ones in their ads.
I was going to share this also-as it will make it free!

Angela April 29, 2012 at 9:58 am

Thank you for clarifying this! Unfortunately I just looked at my coupon and it’s expired. Whaaaahhhh!!! :(

My first one was also-but then I got another one-so check all your old receipts!

Reply

Auntie M April 28, 2012 at 3:18 pm

Kris, Was that an answer for me? Are you saying that it doesn’t matter what card you use with the video value coupon?

Reply

Carrie April 28, 2012 at 4:18 pm

Auntie M, you cannot use both yours and your moms video value coupons with your card. Only 1 per card. Only exception is when they have the same coupon that runs 2 months in a row, but the coupons will have different expiration dates due to when they were watched. That’s why you are only allowed to print each coupon only once. Your card knows when you have used a VV coupon.

Reply

kris April 28, 2012 at 11:48 pm

but it wont matter what card uses what coupon, its not for a specific card.

Reply

Auntie M April 28, 2012 at 11:23 am

I have a question. If my mom and I both have a up rewards card, do I have to use those video value rewards with that specific card? For instance, could I use two video value rewards in one transaction for the same type of item. Say I bought two Revlon lip butters and use two vv coupons…one from my acct and one from my mom’s. Is that OK???

Reply

kris April 28, 2012 at 1:09 pm

no you dont

Reply

Rachel S April 29, 2012 at 12:30 am

i’ve done this in the past. you can have as many vv accounts as you have email addresses.

Edie April 28, 2012 at 12:29 am

Wasn’t the $3/2 Revlon a Target coupon? Or is there a manufacturer one floating around as well? When I look it up, all I’m seeing is one for Target.

Reply

Melody April 28, 2012 at 5:25 am

Oh dear, you’re right. I swear I double and triple checked that before I posted and it did not say Target. Either way, I’ll update the scenario. Thanks for letting me know!
