As much as i’d like to do the Pro Nutrients deal, I know The 6 boxes I saw at my store will be gone by 8:01am Sunday. I went in to politely inform my store about the huge interest there will be on this, and was told they limit quantities on purpose, it’s first come-first serve, and they will not order more for hoarders. I felt very judged.

charolyn December 9, 2011 at 3:58 pm

Sorry you don’t have a good store! I have heard that corporate may respond to attitudes like this at local stores-you may try calling 1-800-rite-aid.

Reply

Melody December 9, 2011 at 8:22 pm

They actually used the word hoarder? That’s really unnecessary and quite rude, in my opinion. Regardless of why people buy things or what they do with them, it is not their place to judge. They have every right to put limits on what they sell and what they order, but they should never outright judge like that. I would contact corporate if it were me, just so they know how their employees are talking to their customers. I’m sorry that you ran into that kind of treatment when you were trying to be helpful!

Thanks for the great match-ups, Melody. Just an FYI that the Conair hair dryer, straightener, etc. are $14.99 with a $5 +UP. So $9.99 after the reward.

If the Peak Cold Liquid 4oz is part of the Robitussin sale-it applies to the diabetic +UP also (& the seasons of saving +up).

Reply

charolyn December 12, 2011 at 9:32 pm

It does-all the liquid are “Peak Cold”-you learn so much when you coupon & look at the products closely!

Reply

Meghan December 9, 2011 at 4:18 pm

Yeah not even going to bother with the Centrum deal! I have no desire to be at the store at 8:00 am!

Reply

suzanne December 9, 2011 at 8:50 pm

awesome work, thank you! I believe there are some vv coupons as well for the Revlon color stay as well.

Reply

christiane December 9, 2011 at 9:25 pm

How are you getting $30.00=ups and the $40.00+up in the centrum deal above?? I am confussed…

Reply

christiane December 9, 2011 at 9:28 pm

never mind I got it!

Reply

CJ December 10, 2011 at 9:42 am

I did not get a 7/1 centrum in my sunday paper (but it is the advanced addition). :-( Anyone else? Hoping my delivered papers will have them in the morning!

Reply

Melissa December 10, 2011 at 3:50 pm

I didn’t receive the $7 off coupon either. The paper I receive is the Seattle Times. Did anyone in Eastern Washington get that coupon?

Reply

jennifer December 11, 2011 at 12:01 pm

i didn;t get it in the TNT or the seattle times! ;( I was sooo looking forward to stocking up on these too!

Reply

Brenda December 12, 2011 at 1:14 am

It was in The Columbian (Vancouver, WA) but not the Oregonian (Portland, OR).

Reply

tamara December 10, 2011 at 5:22 pm

Portland area Sunday Oregonian didn’t get it either, anyone in Salem OR get it?

Reply

jodi December 11, 2011 at 7:05 pm

I don’t know if Salem did, but Eugene did and surrounding areas.

Miss Jay December 10, 2011 at 6:20 pm

Just curious if there is anyway to split up the transaction in the Centrum deal to lower the OOP and not end up with $40 in Ups.

Reply

charolyn December 10, 2011 at 8:51 pm

Lately all the deals like this have been tracking-which means you can buy in separate purchases-& therefore minimize your OOP. Personally, in general, every week (or you can shop every other week-as they usually are good for 2 weeks before expiring) I keep rolling my +ups-so I pay with how many I will get back-really minimizes my OOP.
For this deal-when you buy 3 centrum-you will get the $10 +up-so start there. Then buy the rest if you are getting all centrum for the diabetic +up (check your receipt you may have some money towards this already). I already have some $ towards that one, so will finish that one, and on my last purchase will buy other items I want for the Seasons of saving +up-paying with the +ups I have already as I go along on each purchase. Note too, even if you need $50 for the diabetic one-if you happen to be buying other season of savings items-you could divide further. A lot of math will be required!!
One word of warning on these where you are making money with the coupons-your total can’t go below $0-so make sure you don’t give too many +ups-or add other items to that purchase. I have goofed up on this before!
Let me know if any of this doesn’t make sense-it is a complicated one!! and there are lots of ways to figure it out.

Reply

Miss Jay December 11, 2011 at 8:09 am

Makes perfect sense, thanks Charolyn. I didn’t get any $7/1 coupons either. Trying to figure out if it’s worth it with the coupons I do have. :)

Reply

charolyn December 11, 2011 at 3:05 pm

I checked at 3 stores today early afternoon after church & they were all out already-so it may not even be doable this week. The next best thing is to see if they get more on their restock day. In my area (Hillsboro/Aloha) it is Wednesday. If you don’t know when it is check with your store & ask them if there is still time to order more. Then it is all dependent on whether the warehouses have more or not.
There are several other great deals-see below I will write about them separately so others notice too.

Hey All, I’ve fairly new to this & live in Tigard, OR (a suburb of Portland). Does the Saturday edition of the Sunday paper always have the SS, RP & any others in it or do we have to wait until Sun morning? It would be so much easier to buy my extras on Sat! Please advise.

Reply

Michelle December 10, 2011 at 10:51 pm

Yes, you can buy early edition Sunday paper on Saturday.

no coupon in the new england area either, i think that was a crock and NO ONE got a $7/1 coupon

Reply

Crystal December 11, 2011 at 11:11 am

Ha. Irony. I got the $7 coupon, but I don’t want to travel to one of your stores in ptld to get the product!

Reply

jennifer December 11, 2011 at 12:05 pm

the visine 1/1 Q is not a store Q, but a manf Q, so cant stack it, still only .29 for the visine, but not a MM

Reply

Melody December 11, 2011 at 12:19 pm

I can’t see the bar code on the Visine Q, I’m not home to see the actual ad. If the bar code starts with RC49, it is in fact a store coupon and can be stacked with a traditional manufacturer coupon.

Reply

jennifer December 11, 2011 at 2:17 pm

it doesn’t start with RC, its just numbers

Reply

charolyn December 11, 2011 at 3:09 pm

I used it today with another coupon-no problem. I didn’t look at the numbers though as the ones in the ad are always store coupons-even though it does say manufactures on top. It will start with a 5 if it is truly a manufactures.

Reply

charolyn December 11, 2011 at 3:09 pm

I am planning on buying another one tomorrow-so will double check to make sure I am doing it right though.

charolyn December 14, 2011 at 6:09 pm

You are right Jennifer-it is a manufactures coupon-starts with a 5 and thanks for passing on the info-at least I did it right the second time (didn’t use it)-was still a small MM with the 20% discount.

jim December 11, 2011 at 12:15 pm

I was able to use the $3.00 printable Visine coupon with the in-store coupon twice with no problems-BUT-
My Centrum Pro-vitamin purchase didn’t track so when I completed my second transaction my second $10.00 up didn’t print or track. Also, my diabetic up didn’t print-I signed up 5 days ago. What should I do?

Reply

Melody December 11, 2011 at 12:26 pm

I would contact Rite Aid’s customer service. Just have your receipts handy, either call or email. They are generally really good about making it right!

Reply

Heather December 11, 2011 at 3:12 pm

The $7 pronutrient centrum coupon DID come in the Columbian! Seems the Oregonian usually gets the good coupons but occasionally one comes in the Columbian. Yay! Did the pronutrient deal. :)

the gresham outlook also had the 7.00 coupon. great deal, did the transaction this am. even if you don’t have the 7.00 coupons, its still a money maker with the 5.00 coupons

Tri-Cities WA got it too and we NEVER get the good coupons. :) I didn’t even bother looking because I assumed we didn’t. Fun surprise!

Got a pleasant extra surprise with an unexpected +UP!!! Bought 2 revlon tools-which was a money maker with the $1 SCR on each (can do two)-AND then got a $3 +up on this: Revlon Colorstay products on sale 40% off
Buy 2, Get $3 +UP Reward – limit 1
also counts for the revlon tools!! so an even bigger money maker.
Also is part of the seasons of savings-I may need to find an alternate scenario if I can’t get any of the centrum this week! I am looking at the tugaboos diapers also-that is a great deal too and makes great baby presents-or offer the great price to some of your friends-they may appreciate someone to help them track down good diaper prices!

I got the $3 UPR for Revlon Colorstay cosmetics for buying Revlon tools, too! I assume it’s an error and could be fixed at anytime, but it’s a great moneymaker with the SCR available also!

I thought that at first too-but I looked closer at the ad & it does state the tools also!
Unexpected as they are so cheap to start with and also there is the SCR (which was a great deal by itself & was all I was going for)!

Okay I had to go look at the ad again, looks like your right Charolyn. I wish they would be more clear in their ads!

There is also a clippable mail-in rebate for sonicare, right next to the $10 newspaper coupon.

I am fairly new to rite aid as I do not have one close by. So can you use an Up Reward to buy something that gives you an Up Reward as well? Say you were to buy two bags of M&M’s- you pay $4 and get a $1 Up Reward, could you then use that Up Reward to buy Wonka Sweetart Merry Mix which also has an Up Reward when you buy two?

Yep you can definitely use an up reward to get another up reward! Just make sure to look at the household up reward limit each item allows. Some will only give you the up reward one time. Hope that helps!
