I only have $8 +UPs to rollover this week but I’m can see that I should make $6 with the Optic White & the Vaseline Lotion and get some Ibotta $.
Am I not understanding the Colgate scenario? If we buy both the Colgate Optic toothpaste & the mouthwash we can only claim one item?
I don’t do iBotta, but I inferred from the above listing that there’s a limit of one Colgate iBotta deal on the Optic.
I just bought 2 mouthwashes and 1 toothpaste and got all of the +UP’s for the deal and submitted for $2 from Ibotta for 1 Colgate Optic White mouthwash and 1Colgate Optic White toothpaste. Ibotta allowed me to claim more than 1 item on the receipt so I’ll find out soon.
If so, my final cost for all 3 items is $1.72 oop~ $3+UP, $2 Ibotta & $2.25 in mq.
Sorry for the tardiness this week, Rite Aid friends. My baby brother was playing for high school basketball district champs last night! Important stuff.
Yes it is and you do great !!
Thank Melody! Good job getting out there and supporting your baby brother!! And you get the side benefit of watching a fun basketball game too.
How fun! How did they do?
They won and are district champs! Off to regionals now next weekend, can’t wait. Thanks for asking!
How exciting!
We have always enjoyed watching the local sports, even when they are not very good. But it’s so much more fun when they win!
Check the math on the Grape Nuts/Shredded Wheat deal. Also, has Rite Aid started taking coupons on the “free” item again?
I’m sorry, you’ll have to be more specific. Just checked the math on the Post scenario and it is correct. Did I list somewhere to use a coupon on a free item? If I did, it was a mistake because they don’t accept them. I’m just not sure what you’re talking about.
The coupon in the flu book for $1 off a Post cereal still is valid and could be included in your scenario. (My store pharmacy must have decided that they were getting too close to expiration to keep hidden away and finally put them out – now I have an abundance to use!) You also missed the Hormel deal. There’s a $1/1 coupon for the microwaveable meals in the flu book and we have $1 insert coupons=FREE.
Thanks, Darla, for the Hormel dinner reminder. I had one mfr $1 cpn left, so I got one for free today using the flu book cpn with it. ($1.99 shelf price). Also picked up two Ragus total $2.60 after cpns, 2 dinner dishes for $.99 each, a bag of Simplify pretzels for $1 and two 9-oz pouches of Sunsweet prunes for $.99 each after cpns and raincheck from last week. Total $7.56, used $7 in UPs from last week, paid $.56 cash and got $1 UP from Ragu.
(Wish I’d known about the RA Hormel dinners before I bought them for $1.77 at Bi-Mart on Friday and used my other 2 $1 mfr cpns. I have 3 flu books and could have waited. I don’t see the $1.99 special price in the weekly ad.)
If anyone gets All You magazine, the new March issue that came out this week has another $1/1 Hormel compleats dinner cpn. Got another free one today with that and the flu book cpn. The latter are good till 2-28, but the $1.99 price may not last that long.
You were right- sorry, didn’t notice the scenario was for 4 boxes.
I didn’t have the flu coupon-but counting an extra 20% off (as it counts for the $100/$20 +up) the hormel was a great deal with the $1 manu coupon also!! Thanks.
I’m at $51.04 with a week left, as usual not really trying too hard. There will have to be some killer specials Sunday to get me to spend $49 to get $20. But if anyone gets me there, it will be you.
I too haven’t done as well this month as last-but your best bet this week is the osteo Bi-flex (see my details below). Bummer you used your other hormel coupons-that helped me too (and sadly the free paper didn’t have that one in it-which is where I get lots of my smart source coupons-so I only had two myself).
And the Cheer detergent.
Also I looked yesterday and the vaseline lotion-only .99 with +ups-according to the labels by the product DO count-it did not show that in the ad.
Does the Rite Aid Video coupons count as a manufacture coupon? That’s what it says on the coupon. I’m trying to figure out if I can use the Rite Aid video coupon with another manufacturer coupon from Red Plum?
The video coupons are actually store coupons, although they say manufacturer coupon on them. If the barcode starts with RC49, it is a store coupon and can be combined. All the scenarios listed above using both coupons are examples of stacking those together.
You can use them both.
Has anyone tried using the video value for the L’Oreal shampoo/conditioner? I noticed the video said the coupon was for treatment so I was wondering if it only works for the treatments or if it also works for the shampoo/conditioner. Thanks!
I just printed mine & you may be right.
It worked for me. Got a free conditioner.
I used it on shampoo not realizing it was only for treatments & it went through without beeping
I did look closely at the store & asked a cashier’s advice-and it is worded just for the treatment items-which are not part of this sale. I had to look VERY closely to tell this.
I don’t mess with Video Values (too impatient) but I did get a $2 RA cpn in my email the other day on Advanced Haircare, and it worked perfectly the other day in conjunction with the RP $2 cpn.
Thanks for the info Howard-I went back & checked my e-mails & that offer has expired-BUT I must say I have been ignoring these coupons-so you have given me a good heads up to start paying attention
Monthly deal for Pampers Kandoo wipes, it seemed like a good deal. Buy one get $1 up reward back, limit 4.
The tags were on the larger size and smaller size(42 ct.) but I bought the smaller sizes regular price $2.69 with my 20% off the price was $2.15. So after up reward $1.15. If only there was a coupon for these…
Has anyone found the Brawny coupon from the Oregonian? I can’t find it.
P&G just released a new mail in rebate offer! Spend $50 and receive a $15 gift card. I really appreciate that it states clearly that the $50 is before manufacturer coupons so we don’t have to worry about that. The Covergirl sale this week matches up great with it and if you do the deal twice you will already have $20 towards this rebate. The are other products included and it doesn’t expire until 4/30/13!
Here’s a link to the form
http://www.pgbestinbeauty.com/BOBrebate.pdf
I’m going to go for the P&G rebate next month after this months Anniversary Rewards….too much excitement for me although I like to hear the scenarios anyways.
Yeah, that might be a better idea.
It’s nice that it has a long date on it.
Ooh, thank you! I was wanting to get my mom the Olay brush for her birthday this month, and this is the perfect way to do that.
So apparently Washingtonians are suppose to use liquor in their cat litter boxes instead of the Tidy Cat that is on sale for everyone else.
Grrr…I hate regional sales!
Hey, give it a try. Maybe your cat will turn into a real “licker”.
Ha!
Well, there probably would be a change in the aroma…though I’m not sure which smell would be worse!
There’s an old, old Bickersons routine (radio show) in which Blanche accuses John of killing her cat after finding it in his liquor cabinet. His reply is, “Cats have been known to commit suicide.” (These routines are a lot funnier when you actually hear them.)
okay, I’ll take your word on that!!
My best deal today was the osteo Bi Flex-I got the large size (regularly 39.99)-20%, -$5 coupon (same insert-good on larger sizes) -$15 +up – another 20% for the $100/$20 +up (and it got me to my last bit to reach $100!) = $ 3.99 !
Also got the Cheer & the Hormel meals-also counts for the $100/$20 +up!
I was dissapointed that the Hershey’s Kisses coupon is for the 10 oz.+ size, and the Easter ones on the 2.99 sale are only 8.5 oz. Boo! I was hoping to get them for $1.
me, too!
Maybe we will get another one that will work before Easter?
Yippee!
Just got my early insert in the mail.
There’s a coupon for $2/3 bags Easter candy 8oz.+ and the kisses are included!
If you get the early edition of the paper you could sneak in and get this week’s deal at .99 a bag, but I’m sure we will see more sales before the holiday to use it on even if you miss the current sale.
Thanks to both of you-I was still hoping to get this-surprisingly the stores I have been to so far this week, don’t have all their easter candy in yet -including the kisses !
Yes, it is tough to get Kisses for $1 (unless you’re working at the kissing booth at the carnival).
If only there was a Like button.
So I finally got around to doing the Loreal deal today. It’s a pretty sweet deal if your willing to submit a mail in rebate and pay a higher than average total at the register (unless you had a ton of UpR’s to burn like I did!)
Here’s the deal I did.
Buy 1 Loreal Revitalift Clinical Repair 10 = $19.99
(Shelf price= $24.99)
Buy 1 Loreal Age Perfect Day Cream = $11.99
(Shelf price = $16.99)
Total = $31.98
Use $2/1 and $3/1 coupons (2/17 RP) and $5 Video Value coupon.
Pay $21.98
Receive 2 $5 UpR’s, $10 MIR and $32 towards the monthly Buy More, Save More Promotion!
There’s a ton of products that are included in this deal that have the same prices so you shouldn’t have trouble finding some on the shelf.
Of course, if your like me you will stand in front of the products, eyes glazed over trying to decipher the difference between Laser corrector, double lifting, serums, creams, miracle blur….what????
Sorry I’m using to buying LOTION with the only decision required is deciding what fragrance you like!
Yes Brenda I too wonder about all these choices (wonder if they aren’t really all about the same-like the shampoos
Bickersons again:
JOHN: Turn out the light and go to sleep.
BLANCHE: Just a minute. I have to finish something.
JOHN: What’s that junk all over your face?
BLANCHE: It’s my 5-day beauty treatment. This is my 4th day.
JOHN: Boy, that 5th treatment must be a pip!
That is a good deal on cat litter. Tidy cat on sale for $4.99 there is a $1.00 off coupon have to check database what it was in making the cat litter $3.99
That is a good deal. They had it 2-3 weeks ago for the same price, and I think I got $1 UP on each one on top of the cpns, or maybe it was a $1 UP on two.
The Tidy cat 14 lb. jugs count towards the monthly deal as well. Do you still have coupons for that, Howard?
No, I used my 2 (I get 2 Oregonians) when they had this deal a few weeks back. I’m almost certain they were 3 bucks each after cpn and $1 UP per jug. And we have 2 others from a prior sale, so we’re well stocked for a while. And I’ll have to decide whether it’s worth spending $47 next week to get the $20 UP.
