I wanted to add that the Brainstrong Kids gummies (if you are a mom of older kids) is a great deal this week too! There is a $10 SCR listed on it, the shelf price is $12.99 and with the 20% discount it rings up at $10.39, making it only $0.39 without any coupons! Because it is a separate deal, you can do both if you have younger and older kids!

Heidi February 24, 2012 at 10:45 am

Although I just gave them to my kids and they pronounced them “disgusting”! LOL!! Only 39 cents lost…

Please: when they say “Children’s Advil”, does that include infant Advil? My 7 m/o has his 1st double ear infection =( he hated Little Noses and Tylonal so I’m hoping I can find Qs for infant Advil & that it’s included on whatever +ups promos actually are tracking. Plz also lmk of any infant Advil Qs; thank you!

Melody February 21, 2012 at 1:43 pm

I checked today at my local store and infant Advil is included! I can’t find any coupons for you though. Their website shows they have a coupon available, but the only thing that comes up is for Junior Advil.

I’m also curious; when I went to RA last night, the Colgate tracked on my receipt as “$14 of $25 toward $10 +up” …however in this post you mentioned it’s spend $30 get $10…so is that overlapping as well? If I spend $16 on Advil products will I get (2) $10+ups? Is it $25 or $30 that I need to reach? Thanks again !

Melody February 22, 2012 at 12:02 pm

It actually was a misprint in the ad, was supposed to be $25 not $30. I updated it on my personal RA trip post yesterday, but never changed it on here. It is definitely $25!

Heidi February 24, 2012 at 10:07 am

I had an infant Advil Q in my 1/24 RP

Heidi February 20, 2012 at 12:41 pm

Just FYI on the Physicians Formula TMF rebates. Each requires an original receipt to send in. So, unfortunately I did all of mine on a single transaction, several weeks ago. I went ahead and submitted a copy of my receipt for one of the rebates along with an explanation. We’ll see!!

I have actually done the buy 25.00 get 10.00 three times now and it is tracking again??? Nice…On another note am I the only wingnut that didn’t notice you can print a few extra coupons from the RA website???

Did anyone else have trouble with the Brainstrong coupon not scanning? Does your Rite Aid still take the coupon if it doesn’t scan? The gal wouldn’t take mine but suggested I go home and print another…I must say she was very gracious when I had to cancel the whole order because I then didn’t have enough to use my +UPs.

Reply

Christa February 19, 2012 at 12:29 pm

Mine scanned fine…but a lot of coupons have trouble scanning at Rite Aid, I think they may have old scanners.

Reply

Jodi February 19, 2012 at 4:25 pm

I think you’re right. They are always manually entering mine, printed or manufacturer’s. Maybe it’s good thing though, so that when they do update they’ll actually be one of the few that can read the new bar codes no one seems to be able to handle well just yet.

Reply

stephanie February 20, 2012 at 10:41 am

Not a good thing- when they manually enter then they don’t give you wellness plus points. Watch closely and you will notice this- it stinks!

Reply

Christa February 19, 2012 at 9:34 am

I think the dimetapp/children’s advil plus up is part of the colgate/advil monthly plus up, but am not sure. I read a post on KCL’s website that there isn’t a double dip on that and that the rite aid had corrections up on the shelf. Can anyone confirm this? I am going to try it tonight and see. The spend $25 get $10+up is limit four though, so you can still do both deals if that’s the case.

Reply

JHollyhock (aka Jennifer) February 19, 2012 at 10:26 am

There was no correction up at my store and I did receive both the $3.50 and the $10 +UPs.

Reply

Christa February 19, 2012 at 12:28 pm

Oh, I worded that wrong, sorry! I meant the promotion for the children’s advil. It is supposed to be spend $30, get ten +up, but it looks like they pulled that and are only allowing the monthly colgate/advil deal, spend $25, get a 10+up, so they don’t work together. I was wondering if anyone did Melodyy’s dimetapp scenario above and knew if that was true? I did get the $3.50 and $10 for the toothpaste though.

Reply

Kris February 19, 2012 at 1:49 pm

Just got back all +ups are printing

http://forthemommas.com/drug-store-deals/rite-aid-update-typo-on-the-advilrobitussindimetapp-deal

Here’s a link. It seems there is only one deal, rather then two. So you only need to meet the $25 threshold rather then the $30.

Reply

Christa February 19, 2012 at 4:34 pm

I wish they didn’t have so many typos in their ads lately. :-(

Heidi February 24, 2012 at 9:55 am

There is a $1/1 Children’s Advil in one of the January RP. Not sure which since I already clipped it, and we only get the RPs on Tuesdays not Sundays, so they never match up with the dates that are listed in the blog anyway. It was a whole page with different Advil, Dimetapp and Robitussin coupons.

Reply

Nicole February 19, 2012 at 2:21 am

What is the normal stock up price for the Spray N’ Wash? I have a bunch of coupons but don’t want to use them all if it’s not that great of a deal. Thanks. :)

If I have paper +UPs that I can’t use can I give them to someone else or are they nontransferrable?

Reply

Melody February 18, 2012 at 9:20 pm

You should be able to transfer them, I’ve never tried it but have heard of others that have.

Reply

Melly February 18, 2012 at 11:45 pm

My boyfriend and I share our paper +UP’s all the time between our cards with no issues. They scan just like any store coupon :)

Reply

That is a good question & possibly a dilemma! I would call riteaid & ask them what to do.

Reply

christa February 18, 2012 at 8:49 am

I have read comments in two blogs (I heart rite aid and another) that there is a monthly plus up for colgate and advil that is tracking…but I can’t find it in any ads. Does that sound familiar to anyone? Its spend 25 and get a five plus up, but with the toothpast a double dip, that would be really cool! Let me know if anyone knows about this. Thank you!

Reply

Melody February 18, 2012 at 9:10 am

The monthly rewards generally aren’t in the weekly ads, but they should be advertised on signage at the store. If anyone makes it in to check, please let us know!

Reply

christa February 18, 2012 at 9:26 am

Thank you! I am crossing my fingers!

Reply

Jodi February 19, 2012 at 4:22 pm

There was no signage at either of the two stores I visit, but mine has been tracking since the beginning of the month, and I finished it today with the Colgate toothpaste today.
What a great double dip: I spent a total of $3.99 out of pocket throughout the month on it, then got the 4 $3.50 ups for the toothpaste and the $10 up for the Advil/Thermacare/Colgate/whathaveyou monthly reward. I also have the Colgate/Palmolive rebate form that I’ll submit, too. What a good week for toothpaste :)

Reply

Jodi February 19, 2012 at 4:26 pm

Oh yea, and the Pfizer rebate! Best toothpaste ever! :)

Heidi February 24, 2012 at 10:06 am

What is the Colgate/Palmolive rebate?

Charlie February 18, 2012 at 9:43 am

I have an “Advil” that’s tracking, spend $25 get $10+Up.
I was under the impression that Advil & Colgate were together, but maybe not?

Reply

Christa February 18, 2012 at 10:10 am

I think they are! I probably forgot the value of the plus up after reading the blog and commenting here.

Reply

Christa February 18, 2012 at 10:18 am

Yes, my mistake. Spend $25, get a $10 plus up. I will have to pay close attention to the shelf stickers.

Reply

Lissa February 18, 2012 at 12:25 pm

Yes there is a monthly UPR for any combination of Advil, Colgate, Dimetapp, and Thermacare. I bought (4) Thermacare + (1) Colgate optic white this week and got back (2) $4 UPR for the Thermacare + (1) $1.75 UPR for the Colgate + (1) $10 UPR for the monthly UPR deal wyb $25 worth. !! After submitting the Pfizer $10 MIR I am making $13 on this deal!! Even without the Pfizer MIR (if you already sent one in) this is a $3+ moneymaker!

Re Vaseline Intensive Care: my Q from 1-29 RP states it is for Intensive Rescue. I suspect that is a higher-priced product than the one you say is on sale for $2.97 with $2 Plus-up. Or is it?

The coupon database shows that there are 2 different Vaseline coupons, one for the Intensive Rescue and one for several other varieties. Do you just have the one? The coupon from All You is for any Vaseline if you have it.

Thanks, no I don’t have All You. (Maybe because it’s all about ME, not YOU, haha.) There ARE two Vaseline lotion Qs in 1-29 RP, one for Rescue as mentioned earlier, one for Total Moisture, Aloe Fresh or Cocoa Radiant. Will take both to RA Sunday and see if one or both match up with the ad products.

Didn’t see Intensive Rescue at all today, but Total Moisture was on sale for $2.97, so I used that other Q instead and it turned out to be free + 3 cents overage.

FYI…there is an exclusion of sorts in P&G’s $15 rebate that states that “residents of Oregon must submit rebate form within seven days of purchase.” In other words, all of our receipts must be dated within seven days of mailing our rebate in. I already confirmed this with P&G, although they are supposed to get back to me on why this is the case. Argh…so, of course, that means that if we do this rebate, we won’t be able to take our time and slowly purchase individual products as they go on sale. If you do this rebate, I would strongly encourage you to take your envelope into the post office, have it date-stamped and then make a copy of it before mailing it, just to further protect yourself.
