i need another $2.15/1 Finish Powerball coupon!!!
I have one I won’t be using. Send me your mailing address to bay9898@gmail.com and I will get it in the mail today.
Thanx! I sent to you a little while ago. I am so happy to get it! I’m happy to pay it forward too!
Stayfree and Suave hair care is shown as part of the 50th anniversary +Up in the promo brochure. In the past, the ad has been wrong but the brochure is correct. So I guess we’ll wait and see if they count.
Can I really use both the B1G1 and the $3/1 off one coupon to buy 2 packages of Gillette razors?
Per their coupon policy you can, but one of them might beep. Then the cashier will read them and might decide to not let you. Bring a copy of their policy if you really want to push it. You can get a copy at riteaid.com.
Rite Aid is one of the few stores that allows it, but it can also be interpreted differently by different stores and managers. Always good to have a copy of the coupon policy, but some may still say no. The way I read it, it is allowed.
It SHOULD work, especially in light of their published policy. Last week it did NOT work on the Scrubbing Bubbles toilet gel when I had both a BOGO cpn and a $2/2 cpn. Because your second cpn is on ONE item, and you are paying full price for one, it should work.
I’m getting ready to try my first Rite Aid deal. I don’t know why I’ve been so intimidated by the drug store deals. As I look at this list, can anyone explain why some items are listed in red? It’s probably pretty obvious, but I can’t figure it out. Thanks!
The participating items for the Buy More Save More promotion are in red. When you reach $100 (before coupon) by March 2, you get a $20 +UP.
The red items are all a part of the 50th Anniversary Ups deal that runs the whole month. When you spent $100 on these items, you can earn a $20 up reward, and for each additional $50 you spend you can earn another $10 up. I did this deal last month and earned a total of $50 in ups and didn’t spend more than $40 out of pocket. This can be a really good deal!
I know some will argue otherwise, but every time they have this type of promo, I get FULL purchase price credit toward the benchmark amount of $100 or whatever it is. That is, after wellness discount of 10%/20% if you have it, but before mfr cpns, in-ad cpns, +UPs issued on that item. Very easy to hit $100 in 4 weeks’ time that way.
Thanks everyone for the info! What would I do without you guys?
I’m not finding the Yardley coupon in the Oregonian. Was it regional?
I’ll check, but I think you may be right.
Just looked, didn’t see it. “No soap for you–or me”
And me! Too bad ;(
Thanks guys-saves me the time looking for it (and confirmation-because I always wonder if it is just me not seeing it!).
I guess it might happen, but usually the Oregonian does NOT have the Garnier products cpns. Those who got their papers today already know if the cpn is there.
I can’t for the life of me find my yardley coupons. I don’t think I got them. I get the oregonian but I have checked and reachecked:(
The Oregonian never seems to get the Yardley coupons. They are considered regional coupons…apparently we live in a region that doesn’t need their soap!
Still realized the Yardley deal comes out to $1 each just using +ups and if you match it with one – or more of the money maker deals- even less!!
Friendly reminder about some of the new monthly deals for Feb.
Munchkin Baby Products Buy 2, get $5 UpR. Limit 2.
I’ve found bath duckies and frozen teething toys for $2.99
($2.39 if you have the 20% discount) which makes them free!
There are other items included in the deal that are more expensive if you can’t find the freebies.
Also, the Colgate/Softsoap deal shown in this week’s ad actually goes through the whole month, but haven’t figured out a deal that’s good enough for me..yet!
Thanks Brenda I put the Munchkin items on my list-too bad I didn’t clue in last week-as I just went to a baby shower today (still had plenty of good deals in my pile for her
Got two teething toys today! They were out of the duckies-but was told they have been ordered (Hillsboro sunset esplanade).
Quite a few teething toys left.
The Keri lotion in the Rite Aid ad says its a Manf’ coupon but has the Rite Aid logo, so can you still use that with the SS Manf’ coupon and get it free or would the best be .99 cents?
For some reason the Rite Aid coupons always say Manf Coupon on them but they are really just store coupons. You shouldn’t have any problem combining them
well isnt that confusing haha. Thanks for the tip though
I will go try it. Never shopped at Rite Aid before with coupons, should be exciting!
Rite Aid allows a RC49 coupon to be stacked with a regular MQ. Unfortunately, I’ve never been able to get my hands on the Keri deals, never, for as long as I’ve been couponing. I was there 10:00am Sunday and they are out.
One store combined no problem but another refused. Seems each one makes their own rules.
It does help to know your stores & sometimes even individual cashiers! If in doubt I ask before I buy it.
The gal in front of me this morning had multiple bottles of Keri lotion (it’s supposed to be one in-ad cpn per customer), so I asked the cashier if I could use 2 and he said OK. For $5.96 (after cpns), I got 2 Keris, 2 Stayfrees, 2 Act rinses and rec’d $6 in UPs. On the down side, my receipt did not indicate how much I’d spent toward the $100 promo. I hope it registered. NOTE: the Stayfrees count toward the Johnson & Johnson coupon book offer (see healthyessentials.com coupon link). I had no trouble digging up $25 in receipts for this offer today.
Mine didn’t track either… And my rite aid has a riteaid tag saying 1 per customer next to the Keri. But they did have about 20 bottles at 8:40 am….
As far as the Keri lotion….only got 1….after getting the Stayfree, the 7-Up’s, the toothbrushes, the hair items, the A&H detergent, the light bulbs, the Sharpies & the mouthwash I got $31+UP. Since our house has revolving doors I love getting the items that I know we’ll use.
After my coupons and rolling over $16 of +UP’s I had to pay $24.21 oop and that was sad for me. I still need to get some of the Finish dishwashing tabs but I’m waiting for the coupon to do that deal.
Most of my purchases were part of the Anniversary deal and none of those tracked either.
Was happy to get the Yardley deal since a friend sent me her coupons to use, Stayfree, Reach, Loreal, and Keri. Not surprise that they were out of the Finish and Clear Shampoo.
Spent a grand total of $2.58, which $2.35 of it was tax. Ick.
Here’s hoping they will figure out the tracking issue with the Buy More, Save More Promo soon!
Is the Finish and Clear Shampoo a regional coupon? I’m in the Seattle area and can’t find it in my Red Plum.
The Finish one is for sure. I’m not sure about the Clear Shampoo coupon. We got both of them in The Columbian (vancouver, wa).
something I encountered today that was a surprise….I was told that Rite Aid will not accept cents off coupons with BOGO coupons anymore. I was told this when doing the Stayfree deal. Am I alone?
I wondered why my BOGO coupon would not scan this morning. The manager forced it through, but I wonder if we are coming to the end of this, it always scanned in the past.
Same for me, I used the $1 cpn and the BOGO. One didn’t scan, but the cashier (a nice young kid who allows just about everything) entered it manually. The “beep” is very common in this situation, so I am not 100% convinced yet that they changed their policy. (I never ever tried combining BOGOs with cents-off cpns until I got the courage to do so from other readers’ posts last year and encouragement from a couponing friend who does it.)
I was told at the Gresham Rite Aid this morning that I could not use the Keri in ad coupon with the $2.00 manufacturer coupon because it was more than the sale price. I had to pick one coupon or the other.
That’s incorrect, unfortunately. Their coupon policy says they will adjust down the amount of a coupon if the purchase price exceeds the value of the coupons. Especially since one of them was a Rite Aid coupon, they should have done it no problem! If you are going back to the store this week, be sure to print the coupon policy and take it with you.
I explained that to the supervisor, however, she said they no longer do that. I will print their policy and go back to the store. Thank you Melody.
However, I am sure they will be out of stock now.
I have their printed policy dated May 2011. Tried accessing it just now and can’t seem to find it online. I had no problem Sunday buying two Keris at $5.99 and using all the cpns (no beeps); the cpns all went through and the overage applied to my other items.
This one is from April 2012: http://content.riteaid.com/stores/CustomerCouponAcceptancePolicyApril2012.pdf
I went to the more coupon friendly store in my area today where they usually just allow people to use any overage on other products your buying instead of changing the coupon price like their policy states. I was surprised when I went in today that they said they had a new policy and changed the lotion price to $7 so I could use both coupons. I thought it was a little odd, but my guess is they could have got in trouble for allowing so many overages before. I didn’t mind that they chose to handle it this way (even if I did have to pay tax on an extra $1) and worth getting nice lotion for free!
Also, I was really happy to see that they had put all of the weekly ads behind the counter so customers would have to ask for one because of the in ad coupons. This store is really small and always runs out of the hot items each week so I’m more than happy to see them making sure no one takes more than their fair share.
Hey, Brenda, I think you meant they put all of the weekly ad products (and not the ads themselves) behind the counter. The King City store once in a while does that with some items.
No, that had the actual weekly ads behind the counter. The Keri Lotion was still on the shelf. Weird…but whatever works for them!
The employees at my Rite Aid had no idea about the “adjust down” coupon policy either. They believed me & I still got my free lotion, but wish I had my copy of the policy in the store with me (didn’t bring it in with me because it was a quick run-in trip). I found a good deal on the Zarbees cough medicine for kids: on sale for $6.99, used $1/1 manufacteres coupon & $1/1 RA coupon from the flu shot booklet and got a surprise $1 +Up! A great deal on a product I really like & that works.
FYI the Osteo Bi-Flex coupon is in the 1/6 RP2-$3 & $5 -depending on size. I have been wanting to try this-so much better price
Plus can use some of my overage from other items.
My MIL came with me to go get Cold Stone and RA happened to be next door so I popped in just to see if any Keri was left, they had 4!!! And a sign that said 2 per customer. We each grabbed two and checked out no problem! AND she was impressed and excited to take home a souvenir to show her husband.
Did anyone get double +ups on the sharpies (2.99 ones)?
There were double signs at my store & I tried it-but I think I had already gotten the monthly ones-so just got one $2 (still .99 great price for 3 sharpies).
I didn’t try, rumor is the monthly UpR has carried over from last month so if you already earned the max it won’t work for you.
Only “sharpies” like you two would catch that!
OK-here is my “sharpie” update (thanks for the compliment Howard)-I have now tried this several ways & it doesn’t seem to be printing two + ups: have bought the 4pk gel pens (4 different colors of ink) and the Sharpie Pen -fine point.
Still they are only .99 after the +up & sale price & if you match that with either the Stayfree, or Keri deal-which each give $1 in overage, they will be free.
I think the monthly Buy More Save More items either weren’t tracking yesterday or they are now counting after coupons because I went again today and it says I only bought $14ish toward the $100. I know I spent WAY more than that (at least before coupons)! Last time mine tracked before coupons so maybe they changed it. Does anyone else know what’s going on?
I went today and only what I bought today was counted towards my promo, so the $30 ish I bought yesterday is potentially long gone… which I know from experience, it’s no use in trying to get them to add it. Last month they messed up on a bunch and after reviewing my receipts they agreed they messed up and promised to add it to my promo, but never did I spoke with them two times and saved my conversation the second time, but no use. If they don’t add it back in, then the only way to get it to count is to return your stuff and buy it again…
What a bummer! I hope they fix it because I bought most of my stuff on Sunday that counted toward the promo. Thanks for the info Renee!
Haven’t bought anything since Sunday, when I noticed there was no info on my receipt re my purchases. I tried their online chat this afternoon, but it was too late in the day. Sent them an email with my receipt info and requested a reply. They also have a direct phone number, but I hear it takes forever to get through.
The email is a great idea Howard! Maybe they will get back to you sooner as I have also heard the through the phone takes forever! I guess I should figure since when I called to change my +UPs to print again it took almost an hour, 55 minutes on hold & about a minute to actually change it. haha
See below re latest info on updating the new Wellness purchases. You could have opted out of the Load 2 card UPs at the store, which would have taken 30 seconds. I did it the first morning it went into effect last Sept.
What!? My cashier said she had NO idea how to change it and to call the customer service number! Next time I should just ask you Howard
This was on Rite Aid’s fb page earlier today:
Thank you everyone for your patience. The issue with our current Rite Aid 50 sales promotion has been corrected. All of your earned points have been adjusted and all earned +UPs will be issued upon your next visit. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you again for shopping at Rite Aid.
So hopefully it actually worked and we all got our points
Stayfree products: when I used a BOGO I only got the $2 ups for one of the products so it ends up being .50 ea. instead of overage.
You should have been able to get it on two items (that is the limit per card)-I have.
I bought two, got 2 UPs.
Coupon alert: the red plum mailers-that have never had coupon inserts in them before-now have them!! Funny it is the Smart Source.
This week’s has an arm & hammer coupon .75/2-great with the already great +up deal above. I don’t remember seeing this coupon in the Sunday paper inserts-buy maybe didn’t look close enough.
Not mine (SW Portland). I don’t recall an A&H cpn last Sun.
I figured it out (when I looked at last week’s also)-that these are for the upcoming Sunday! Another couponer verified to me that she read A & H coupons are coming out this Sunday!! Yeah-score
Interesting how the different areas vary, we’ve been getting the SS inserts in the RedPlum mailer for a long time now.
I have been curious, does anyone know how to get more Red Plum inserts? We get ours in the mail and not the paper, so I only get one copy. I’m in the Seattle area.
I don’t spend much time looking for extra inserts so I’m not really sure. I know some people have found extras in public places where they pick up their mail, like checking the garbage/recycling near the mailboxes at the Post Office or Apartment Complexes. I would guess that many people toss them instead of taking them home. Maybe you could ask your neighbors?
Just had an online chat with RA customer support re lack of info on receipts regarding the new $100 Wellness program for Feb. Here is the reply I got:
Leave Chat
Welcome to Customer Support. This is Edith_V, how may I help you?
Howard Groopman
Hi, my receipt this past Sunday did not indicate how much I’d spent toward the new $100 Feb Wellness program. Is there a way to look this up and find out if my purchases registered?
Edith_V
So there is actually something wrong with the system at the moment, they are currently going back to track everyone’s purchases hopefully everything should be fixed by tomorrow if you do not see anything tracking after tomorrow you can contact us back and we can go ahead and adjust the points for you as long as you have the receipt information.
P.S. She checked my RA account (I also gave her the receipt info) and there was nothing posted yet.
I’m so timid to trust this, but I hope they do fix it. I lost $30 something last time, still made it to $250 and liked the deals that they lost, but this time the deals so far don’t seem as great… It will be interesting though, as they go back and realize customers bought (from what I’ve heard on other blogs) 20+ Keri Lotions and if they’ll reward that or not.
Thank you for the update! Hope they are able to get it figured out soon!

Thanks for the update, been wondering what to do!! Also I appreciate reading your comments, Howard, you make my day….
Yes thanks Howard-I was pondering taking it back & having it rerung-but don’t really want to take the time, or put my store through that-so this really helps
Once again, Howard saves the day!
Thanks for taking the time to look into it, I’ve honestly been too lazy to do it myself and was hoping it would magically take care of itself!
Just got back from Riteaid and tracking is in place, total purchased from 2/3 is now showing!! Let the fun begin….
Just finished an online chat with RA. She said my total is $27.14, which I know is even more than I spent Sunday ($25.96 before cpns, $5.96 after). The agent yesterday told me there was no way to track the totals online ourselves. So I think next visit the total will show. (I had to provide her with everything on the receipt, plus my full name and address, DOB and phone number. I was waiting for her to ask for my underwear size…..)
yikes…
Happy to see the rewards total on the bottom of my receipt today, haven’t matched it all up yet to see if it’s correct but still excited!
Great News-appreciate everyone’s reports.
Wowow! Awesome deal on Garnier Fructis Shampoo!
RiteAid posted new store coupons on their facebook page for the Volume Extend and Hydra Recharge varieties and there is a Video Value coupon for the Fall Fight variety which matches up perfectly with the monthly Garnier UpR (Spend $15, get $5 UpR).
Here’s the details:
Buy 1 Fall Fight Shampoo or Conditioner $3
Buy 1 Volume Extend Shampoo or Conditioner $3
Buy 1 Hydra Recharge Shampoo or Conditioner $3
Buy 2 any variety $6
Total $15
Use 1 each of Facebook coupons and video value = -$3
Use 5 Garnier Fructis printable coupons = -$5
Pay $7 and receive $5 UpR
Added bonus is it will count towards the Buy More, Save More promo!
I would act very quickly on the Facebook coupons because they could pull those down anytime! Luckily there are 2 separate coupons on the coupons.com for the manufacturer coupons, but you will still need access to 2 computers to print 1 more. Or if you were lucky enough their were regional coupons for it in this week’s inserts. The printable coupons do not have a limit to how many you can use in 1 transaction, but I went ahead and bought this deal in 2 transactions to stick with Rite Aid’s policy. There are many ways to work this deal if you can’t find all of the coupons and the styling products are included as well (pretty sure there is a VV coupon for those as well)! Also, you might have to hunt around for the specific varieties of shampoo, I had to go to 2 stores before I found them.
Does anyone know if you redeem a raincheck for a “free after up reward” product that is part of the anniversary deal, do you get credit for it? Or because it’s free, it would add anything to my total?
In my experience, you will receive the full amount before any coupons, UpR’s or rainchecks.
That’s a great question. It would depend on how they ring up the item when you redeem the raincheck. If they scan it at the original or sale price, then input a credit for the lost UP, then yes, you’d receive anniversary credit for that price (less any wellness discount). But I seem to remember that they scan it and then price modify it to show the NET price after sale price and lost UP, which in your example would be zero. In that case, I think you’d get no credit.
oops, I think Howard it right.
I haven’t used very many rainchecks, but I think I remember them just price modifying it as they ring it up. However, if you were already going to get the product you might as well do it when the promo is going on just to see if you are lucky enough to have it included in your total.
grrr…I meant to type Howard IS (not it!) right.
Stupid fat fingers!
