I had problems with the diaper +up reward too. It didn’t print and rang up on the summary portion of the reciept as .02 towards the baby promotion up reward. My baby was cranky so I left frazzled, without saying anything. I checked my math and was over the $25 total needed. Maybe I’ll call customer service.

I had that exact same problem with my diapers. Who did you end up calling?

Tera February 3, 2012 at 2:15 pm

I have a Winter Reward tracking on my recipt. It must have started tracking already? Apparently I purchased $51 towards the $100 already.

Reply

Tera February 3, 2012 at 2:16 pm

Oh, FTR I already got my January $20+up. So this has to be a new one?

Reply

Melody February 3, 2012 at 4:47 pm

The ad says the reward starts on Sunday, but I’m thinking it may have started at the beginning of the month. I went today and there were a few signs up already!

Did anybody have problems with the diaper offer? I bought mine and applied coupons and it didn’t print up. The manager said that they are now using prices AFTER coupons. Then he re-rang up the products and I used one less coupon so the amount was over $25 and it still didn’t ring up. There are no qualifiers as to what kind of Pampers you must buy, and obviously the Baby Dry were most popular since the shelf was clean, so I had to get the Cruisers-which were pictured. Then they thought it was because I used my Resolution Reward in conjunction with coupons. The manager finally gave me a gift card. Did I miss new rules about the use of coupons on these types of offers? That the price will be adjusted down? And, is that for everything? And, what about using UP and Resolution rewards? I thought you could use them for anything but booze, smokes, lottery cards.

Melody February 3, 2012 at 4:49 pm

I’m 99.9% no rules changed, I think some cashiers/managers will say it has changed if your +UP doesn’t print because they assume that’s how it should be. As far as what was advertised, your reward should have printed exactly as the scenario suggested.

It definitely wasn’t because of you using your Resolution Reward either, as all rewards should print regardless of how you paid for them. The other monthly Pampers reward was glitchy also, so wondering if it’s just the way the Pampers are ringing up?

Glad they gave you a gift card to take care of you!

Went today (Friday 2/3), Bought:
3 Pepsi 12 pks
5 Pepsi 2 liters
4 Viactive

The soda total (excluding deposit) was $14.99…they did round up and give me the +ups.
The Winter Rewards must be in effect… My receipt says “Winter Rewards $20+up when $100 purchased – total $39.00″

Does anyone know if the dollar amount rounds up? Say I buy 5 centrums at 9.99 it adds up to 49.95 just 5 cents short of getting two $10 ups.

Reply

Melody February 1, 2012 at 8:57 am

Unfortunately it doesn’t. I think I read somewhere that CVS may do that? With Rite Aid, you have to be fully over the amount needed.

I was pleased with my P&G deal today:
2-always liners (which are double packs), 4-olay bars 2 packs, 2-secret.
the olay & secret are bog50%
I used 2-.50 always, 4-$1 olay, 2-$2 secret when you buy olay
also added in $19 of +ups (usually I match what I use to what I get back-but earned an extra $20 with the $100 last week-so had extra to spend & these are all items I use)
=cost $2.97!
The only bummer is that my +up did NOT print-only showed $29 spent & I added the total up numerous times to double check-it was a little over $30. So I will call tomorrow-they are very responsive in these situations.

My RA (185th Hillsboro) had the Triaminic Fever Reducer for $4.99! I actually went to a few today & spotted the same price at another location.
Not sure why Christy’s store didn’t have it included in their sale????

On the Big Game Promo $5 UP, Pepsi *products* are included, so I used the Dr. Pepper $2 off 2 12 pks Video Values Coupon from January. My store also had .55/1 peelies on the Sierra Mist, which lowered my OOP another $2.55 on the sodas.

Thank you so much for posting. I thought Dr. Pepper might be but I was waiting to be sure they had a sign up. I too have that VV coupon and another peelie for it and was really hoping so!!

Is anyone else having problems with the new databar coupons that don’t have UPCs when redeeming at Rite Aid or Walgreens? For Instance the $5/1 Centrum Pro Essentials coupons as well as most of the Unilever coupons are like this. I’ve yet to see a store accept them.

I went to rite aid and bought 6 12pks, and 7 rockstars. Total $30.43 (not including deposits) and got two $2 +ups, and one $5 +up but shouldn’t I received a 2nd $5 +up? It was one transaction. I thought I would confirm with you all before calling CS. I think maybe the rockstars aren’t tracking because my reciept shows $6 towards my next reward which would be the difference from the soda. Am I crazy lol?

You definitely should have gotten 2 $5 +UPs according to the ad, I would call CS. They are usually really good about honoring the promos from the ad. Good luck!

I bought 6 12pks of pop (7-up and Pepsi), 5 bags of Chex Mix and 3 cans of Lays, my total should have been $30.43 before deducting my Chex Mix coupon. I received the two $2 ups but also only received one $5 up. I had to work through the scenario with the cashiers and they finally gave me a $5 gift card. I was going over my receipt later and found that it was showing $9 towards my next reward and there was no way to break down my purchase that would explain what wasn’t tracking. There is some sort of glitch in the system.

I went to two RiteAids between 10 and 11 this morning. A clerk at the first one told me she’d witnessed someone cleaning out the supply of Centrum Probiotics right in front of another customer who’d wanted some. The 2nd RiteAid also had a bare shelf. The hoarders must have shown up right after the stores opened. The first store gave me a raincheck, and the clerk said the mgr would or might adjust the price to reflect the $10 PlusUp, so if I use some of my coupons and do the rebate, it still might work….if they ever get a new supply. I tried numerous times at several RiteAids to get the High Octane energy chews and struck out. One store had one package, but you had to buy two to get the $3 PlusUp. The store would not give a raincheck because they said it’s a “TPR” and not an advertised item. So be it.

Stinks, doesn’t it Howard. I understand some people play RA and Wags like a game, but there is a certain type of shelf clearer that I can’t stand. Ugh. It’s painful witnessing it too. I was literally standing looking at the lip balms a few weeks back and a woman came and reached in front of me to take the last two Nivea. I guess we all have our own rules. I don’t reach in front of people to grab something they are eyeing- most of the time I’ll let them finish their turn looking, or at the most I say excuse me and actually wait for them to move or step back. It’s getting ugly…

When the Centrum moneymaker happened a few weeks back, several of us entered the store at the exact same time. One man ran to the Centrum and proceeded to clear the shelf of all of them right in front of me. When he was finished he turned to me (who was patiently waiting my turn) and suggested I buy the much bigger bottle at the much bigger price that was not a moneymaker…isn’t that sweet? I said no thanks and then went to buy a bottle of Nexxus, which I couldn’t buy either since his friends were clearing the shelf. Gosh I don’t know how in the world he used 14 bottles of vitamins and 12 Nexxus, but prob just wanted the moneymaking money. He was with several friends and they divided up their bootie, cleared all of the Nexxus in front of me, and then hit the checkout. I just wanted one of each deal, but it was a no go since there wasn’t anything left. I turned to a nice older lady who shockingly witnessed the entire thing (and who came for both products as well) and handed her my coupons for the Centrum. She said she was going to buy it regardless of the size of the package, smiled and happily accepted my $7 off coupons. She said it made her day. So, despite the actions of a few rude people, we both managed to laugh it off and it felt good doing something nice for her. Good coupon karma and onto the next deal. One of the longtime checkers saw the Nexxus incident and handed me a bottle and said, oh someone left this one at the checkout if you want it. Very cool!!

I was just quickly browsing through next week’s ad and the Youth Code cleanser will be free with just the VV coupon, so don’t be too bummed if you didn’t get it this week. Plus, it’s included in the Buy & Save promo!

Does anyone have an extra receipt with an item from the Pfizer mail-in rebate? I did the scenario listed above and I lost that receipt. I only need one more item because I still have my receipt from buying two Advil. I might try going back to the store and returning the items and repurchasing but my Rite Aid is really leery of returning and re-ringing UP purchases, especially since I don’t even have the receipt!

My Rite Aid trip this morning failed! The Loreal +Up is only printing for the $11.99 items, and is not including the Youth Code cleanser. I’m planning to call customer service since the ad is unclear. And the Triaminic Fever Reducer is not included in the $4.99 deal. It’s full price :(

Thanks for letting us know Christy! You’re definitely right, the L’oreal is unclear in the ad but I’ll update the scenario. Bummer about the Triaminic, it’s so hard to know which products are going to be included.

There was a Pfizer rebate in the red plum Tuesday mailer this week (I think it was this weeks, sorry I already cut up my coupon inserts so I don’t have the date). It says you get a $10 rebate wyb 3 qualifying items of which robitussin, Advil, dimetapp, etc are included. This would make your above scenario a moneymaker!

For the past several weeks now I have been getting $3 centrum pronutrients rite aid coupons on my receipts-they look like +ups-so check your past receipts if you haven’t noticed them. Also I got a centrum vision one-so look closely to see what it is for.

Also the 12/11 RP has a $4/2 Olay Product Buy 1 Get $4 Off Luscious Embrace or Silk Whimsy Bar Soap excludes trial size. If they carry that type of soap-it seems to me that the other item could be an olay soap also-which would make a great price on bar soap-in the P&G-buy $30 get $10+up promo.
