When I try to print the adperk coupons it all still shows july’s offers which I thought expired 7/25. Why cant I find August, am I missing something?
The July offers were supposed to end on Wednesday, but it looks like they have extended them. The August offers will be available late Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
Which insert is the M&M free snack mix wyb 2 in? I couldn’t find it in the previews I checked. Seems like lots of deals this week! Thanks for your hard work!
According to the post above, it’s in 7-29 insert, which is tomorrow.
Don’t see this in the Oregonian. do any of you?
Yes, I got it. It was in one of the two Red plum inserts.
got it! thanks
i want that toothpaste coupon! i only have the $.50 off coupon and I even checked my old P&G insert…..I’m hoping I find it before tomorrow morning (got $21+ UP expiring tomorrow and trying to keep those rewards going
The powerade is a better deal this week if you have time to go today, as it is on sale for .88.
Powerades are 50 cents at FM this week, limit 10 with in-ad cpn.
There were only 11 Powerade Zeroes left on the shelf at Tigard today, and I took 10. I think they are 60 cents w/o the in-ad cpn.
Don’t see any Revlon cpns in my 6-24 SS Oregonian.
Howard, we never get the Revlon coupons. Or Garnier. I don’t know why. The Oregonian is dumb sometimes.
Oregonian called my house this AM and pursuaded me to come back on home delivery subscription. Started with a daily delivery that I was not interested in at $12.00 per month. She then offered Fri/Sat/Sunday home delivery for $2.00 per week – pay up front for 2 months= $16.00. So, I signed up since the Sunday paper at stands is $2.00 and usually ends up costing more than that if you add in that my husband grabs a starbucks coffee (and probably a donut!) at the same time. I was paying a lot more for the Oregonian (I think it was up to $20 per month) before I cancelled due to some travelling and the hassle of stopping and restarting delivery (especially when my delivery person could never get it right and I was having to call them too often.) Might be worth it to end home delivery now and then and let them offer you a deal to come back. The woman definitely sounded like she was on commission or her results are tracked. She wanted me to call her back, and her only (told her I wanted to think about it for an hour – I hadnt had my coffee yet!) Her name was Lou and her phone number 503-221-8036 in case anyone else is interested in signing up for home deliver.
According to the text above, it’s in tomorrow’s paper.
(“7-29 insert” is what it reads)
I’m tempted to do the same, but my wife does not want to discontinue the paper, even for a short time. For years I was on a $2/week special, then $3, then they changed their billing system in January 2012 and stopped billing me completely. They re-started me at $3/wk for 8 weeks, then last week it jumped to $4.50 for 8 weeks, and (I was told over the phone this week) it probably will go to $6 next. The agent told me they’ve discontinued all specials (according to you, not true) except $3/8wks for new subscribers. The Fri-Sun deal is OK, but then you don’t get FoodDay on Tuesday–although I think they’ll deliver it on Wednesday if you ask. I had that before and delivery was spotty. They recently had a Tues/Fri/Sun or Tues/Sat/Sun special, but the agent said that’s no more.
I went to one of those oregon savers coupon seminars and they had an awesome paper deal (probably the main reason for the event) 1 year of the sunday and tuesdays papers for 19.99, and you could get multi up to 5 delivered at once. They said it was limited to the event but one can always ask them about it
Darn, now I’ll never be beautiful. We used to get Garnier all the time in Portland paper. I think it’s the manufacturers who determine what cities get what coupons, not the newspaper. But see below re dumb Oregonian.
Howard:if you email revlon and ask why they are never in the O, they will likely send you Q’s as they have for me each time I inquire.
Oh, that’s a really good tip!
I’ll have to email them too!
Thanks, Or shopper, now I still have a chance to be beautiful.
My Crest rinse cpn is 75 cts, not $1, and my Oral-B toothbrush cpn is $.50/2, not $1/2. These are from the 7-1 P&G circular (Oregonian). But the deals sound good anyway.
Doritos cpn is good on 12+ oz size only, which is not the standard size bag.
There is also a July $1 off 2 video values coupon for Twizzlers 12oz or larger.
Fort the crest Pro-Health Rinse, according to Rite Aids coupon policy you cant use the $1 off coupon with the BOGO, am I understanding that correctly? Still a good $1 money maker tho!
This is a good question. I know this discussion has been had before but I know at my Rite Aid the computer will beep and they won’t take $ off coupon in addition to the BOGO.
from their policy:
Buy One, Get One Free Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased. A customer can use one “cents off” coupon (a coupon of fixed value such as $.50, $1.25, etc.) in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One, Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item. Customers can use up to two coupons with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion, provided the total value of the coupons does not exceed the selling price of the two items combined. Buy One, Get One Free coupons cannot be used in conjunction with a Buy One, Get One Free or with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion.
So basically even they can’t make up their minds. They say two different things in one paragraph…
They did not say two different things.
1. They accept bogo coupons.
2. bogo coupons cannot be used with a bogo deal (free or %)
3. cents off coupons can be used on bogo deals
4. up to 2 coupons can be used with a bogo % deal (not a free deal)
5. cents off cannot exceed price of item(s)
Also if you were to purchase say 3 items that were part of the bogo deal, you would have 2 full priced items and could essentially use a bogo coupon when purchasing 3. It would be like buying 1 and getting 2 free. Which I think is a pretty good deal.
So Howard, sounds like you are saying that both the M&M’s deal and the Crest Pro-rinse deals should work as originally posted (although some of us might have lower dollar amount cents off coupons)…correct? I’m all clipped and ready to go!
We have had this discussion before and people read it different ways. My Rite Aid will take both the BOGO and the $$ off coupon and that’s how I read the policy, but you may just have to ask your local store.
I went in today and before we rang it up I asked the gal at the register and she was totally cool with it, so it probably depends on who is at the register too because the last time I tried they were totally not on board.
I did the crest rinse deal today, but for some reason I only received 1 $3 +UP. Should I have received a second one? If so, do I call the 800 # on my receipt to work that out?
It does depend on who is at the register & wise to ask before-so you know how you want to shop.
It used to be “against my religion” to use a cents-off cpn on a BOGO store promo or in conjunction with a BOGO cpn, but I’ve swallowed my pride since joining this site and now use them. I did the Crest Rinse deal today and added a cents-off cpn to the BOGO cpn. It beeped, but the cashier added it manually without even a hint of protest.
& Yes I got a cashier who refused it & on hindsight I should have mentioned the Rite Aid policy-as he was young & probably didn’t know-he was just going by the fact that it “beeped”. Next time I will be more prepared-still since I was increasing $1 in +ups, I didn’t have much to complain about-
AND considering all the other free stuff I am getting this week:-)
Just looked at the Poligrip coupon and it excludes the .75oz size.
mine say off ANY but it did beep, they pushed it thru
Mine says 2.2 and 2.4 oz only.
Did we have the Aquafresh Extreme Clean Toothpaste in the Oregonian? I can’t seem to find it.
No, looks like the Oregonian didn’t get it. You might look at their website, they often have coupons for the Extreme Clean available to print.
I totally agree with Melody, I LOVE this toothpaste!
Thanks Brenda! I was able to get one for the Extreme Clean. I wasn’t able to get one for the Fruity and hadn’t even thought to look for the other. Fun!
Are you sure we an use a Visine in-ad, a Visine mq, and a Visine Video Values-THREE coupons just for one item?
You actually can’t use the in-ad q and the VV q together, did I say somewhere that you could? I can’t find it. Your best bet would be to do the scenario as I wrote above, man. q an VV q.
It was listed under the “deal scenario”-but happily those who are Gold members will get 20% off the original price. I bought a bottle for $5.29 less 20% gold member discount (remember this item is not on sale) less $2.00 in ad and $2.00 mq. Paid only cents for the Visine.
I only have it listed to use the in-ad q and manufacturer q, just as it sounds like you did to buy yours. Glad you got it for so cheap!
Could I have misread Listerine and Visine? Shame on me-but hey-checking my receipt from yesterday I see that $5.29 bottle of Visine cost me 23 cents with 20% off and 2 coupons-still a success in my book!
Oh my gosh Jim, I bet that’s it! Either way, you got a fantastic deal.
It depends on if the coupon in the ad states at the top if it is a manufacturer coupon or not. If it does, you cannot use all three, if it does not then you can!
That’s not actually true. In order to use 3 coupons on one item, one has to be a traditional manufacturer coupon, one has to have a barcode that starts with RC49 (RA store coupon) and one has to have a barcode that starts with RC48 (RA store coupon). This is pretty rare anymore and I’m fairly certain both the VV and in-ad q start with RC49, so you wouldn’t be able to use them together.
did the Oregonian get the nutella q ?
Did anyone get 2 $3+up rewards for Crest Pro-Health mouth wash with B1G1 coupons? I only got one $3…..:(
i also only got 1
I did get 2, which surprised me since the smaller size bottle was not marked as a $3 up and so I wasn’t expecting it. Great deal for me.
I think the very small bottle 8 oz i believe doesn’t print the up but the next size up does. The 473ml that is regular $6.29 works for the smaller one. I got the very large bottle with a try me 8oz attached to it and then the 473 oz and got 2 $3 ups.
I got both. See my post below.
So if we only got one what should we do?
If both bottles that you bought were more than 500 mL, the way the ad is worded you should have received both. I would call or email RA customer service, they are usually really good about getting back to you and fixing things.
Not sure why this caused such problems. The purchase requirement was for sizes from 473 ml to 1 liter. If you bought any two of the Pro-Health rinses, then you should have received the two $3 UPs, as I did. One of mine was 473 ml which I chose in order to satisfy the BOGO coupon requirement for the free one. If you did this right, you’d have paid $5 for one Pro-Health rinse, nothing for the 2nd, and received two $3 UPs. (I also pushed the envelope and used a 75-ct cpn on the 2nd rinse)
Thanks. I called them today and they will be mailing me my +UP. I bought both the 1L and the 500mL.
I think the Nutella RP coupon was regional, I couldn’t find it. I did find a coupon on their facebook page for $1/2. I used that to do your applesauce/nutella deal. Worked perfectly. I don’t find deals on Nutella often.
Reach Toothbrushes. There is a new printable being reported at Raking in the Savings for $2.00/2 which might make these free at Riteaide. I just printed 2 – so the report is right – the link is live!
Dawn liquid soap. The post above says to use .25/1but todays paper is actually a .50/1 making this a very good deal …I think!
How are the Reach free? They are $2 each and the coupon is $2/2, making them $1 each.
I have no idea why I mentioned free re Reach. Who knows what I was reading or thinking at that time – I was in coupon overwhelm time re dental products and Rite Aide. Sorry!
Although as the Reach are part of the buy $30=get $10 +up-they do end up being less than $1 each when you factor that in too.
Does anyone know….If I want to submit for a single check rebate and am required to purchase multiple items for the rebate, do they all need to be purchased on the same receipt? Is the computer smart enough to match items from two different receipts?
It should be able to track across multiple receipts, I have done it in the past.
Riteaide is new to me so I’m probably asking a dumb question or two. Some of these deals reference: 2 UP rewards per household in the newspaper ad. So, is this like Safeway, where really they have no way of tracking if you do more (i.e. go back later that week for one more hit) or is the Riteaide system smart enough to truly know when you hit two per Wellness card? Also, with the UP rewards, for example todays Crest toothpaste deal – if I want to do that twice, do I need to go through the line two times in order to get 2 UP rewards or will they combine/double the award?
There are no dumb questions when it comes to learning the ropes about couponing at a new store! Rite Aid has its own unique issues (as you’ll come to find out!), but when it comes to tracking the number of UP rewards per offer, their registers are surprisingly accurate. As for going through the line again, no, you don’t have to do that. Both UP rewards will print at the bottom of your receipt. Hope that helps!
Thank you Steph! I’ve been wanting to ask you..are you the same Steph that posts the incredible, so prompt, never ending, wonderful updates to http://printablecouponsanddeals.com ??
The +ups are tied to your card-that is why it is accurate. If you have another card to use (I shop for other people for example-so use their cards) you can buy more on them.
Right, Charolyn.
Ooo…nope, I’m not the same Steph, but I know who you’re talking about and I love her updates, too!
These “sharpies” who answered you are on top of it. You can use one RA card to get the max number of UPs, be it in one trip or several. And for UPs and single check rebates that require a certain dollar purchase, you can do that over multiple trips, as long as you stay in the parameters of the effective dates. Your printed receipt often tells you how much you’ve purchased toward the minimum required.
You guys are fabulous!ni love reading the match ups and comments!
I went to the rite aid over near cedar hills crossing by the dollar tree and the crest tooth paste have .50 cent off rit aid coupons on them making them a even better deal. I bought 2 used the 2x .50 coupons and 2 x .75 coupons and paid 3.50 and got 6 in up rewards
Jaz,
You might want to double check the dates on your toothpaste. I’ve noticed they usually attach the rite aid coupons to ones that are close to expiring. I’m not exactly sure why toothpaste would expire, but I’d rather not buy one that expired 10/2011 (which I almost did today!) I
I like to live on the edge and use expired toothpaste, pain and allergy pills, etc. Yesterday I ate a yogurt that expired March 16.
High-sodium and high-fat foods don’t scare me either. So far I’ve lived a healthy life and I’m over 60. But your concerns are valid.
I have eaten yogurt that expired months ago too! & never had a problem.
I figure if the toiletry products aren’t too far past their date-then I use them.
But some in my house are years -then I get rid of them & am mad at myself for missing it & not passing them on to someone who could have used it.
Oh, I have no problem using expired items, I just would rather not buy something expired.
I’m halfway to 60 and will rest easy in knowing that I should live a long healthy life since I follow your diet (High-sodium/fat foods)!
Yesterday, I dug through my Mom’s garbage after watching her throw away a couple of expired yogurts. Silly lady, the dates were only May.
I just wanted to point out that there are regional differences in the weekly ad again this week.
The sw wa ad does not have page 10, which includes some sales on food items.
Sniff. Sniff. So sad, no Nutella for me, but we get a whole page of liquor sales.
Darn it RiteAid, I need you to support my Nutella addiction, not booze!
Re Conair/Scunci post: I took a peek at the hair products today and the hairbands, etc all seemed to be $5 and up.
BEST RITE AID TRIP EVER TODAY!!
First transaction: Two Crest Rinse at $5 each; 1 Crest Pro Health toothpaste @ $3; 1 Scope 250 ml @ $2.96 (10% Wellness discount); 2 Oral-B indicator brushes @ $1 each, 1 Aim toothpaste for $.90 after 10% Wellness discount; less $5 for free rinse cpn, $.75 for Crest toothpaste, $.75 for Scope, $.75 for the 2nd rinse, $.50 for the brushes. Total paid: $11.11, received five UPs total $14.
Second transaction: Two Tidy Cat litters @ $5 each; 1 Lanacane cream @ $5, less $1 litter cpn (wish I’d had two); less $14 in UPs from deal #1, net total ZERO and rec’d $8 in UPs for next time.
So I paid $11.11 for everything and have $8 in leftover UPs. And Citi Simplicity card gives me 5% cash back on drugstores/gas/restaurants/groceries till Sept 30 (on first $500 purchased).
Exciting isn’t it, Howard!
I also had a great trip this week, reminded me of the good ‘ole days when every week was like this.
Healthy Essentials +UP Reward: Spend $30, Get $10 +UP Reward
coincides with the monthly Johnson & Johnson +UP Reward: Spend $15, Get $5 +UP. $15 worth of J & J ends up free after coupons & +UPs, when combined with $15 of Healthy Essentials products….you receive a $5 +UP and a $10 +UP. Too much fun!
Thanks for the heads up-I didn’t know about that! Are you in Oregon?
You’re welcome! I’m always hesitant to try deals that aren’t posted anywhere when it’s a larger $ amount, this one definitely works and there are some great deals/products to pair it with. Yep, a life-long Oregonian.
Something to note-
the $3+up on the $3 crest toothpaste-oral b toothbrush& scope mouthwash-is limit of 2-so you need to choose between these items-can’t get 2 of each item.
I mention it because I have not noticed this in the past on similar deals & have messed it up!
I messed up yesterday. Being new to Rite Aide it was all a little overwhelming and fun! So, can I return my mistake purchase today (I really do not need the extra products) and have them reissue or somehow give me back the $3 UP that was used on the purchase or would I lose it (and I keep the mistake) and/or can you exchange for something else you need/want and have the $3 used UP applied? Normally, I wouldnt even think of going back, but my cashier messed up on my M&M’s so I have to go back anyway. The poor guy was new and every transaction I did was a new experience for both of us!
You can return, but you don’t get your +up back. So you can just look at that as being used towards the price of other items. If you didn’t pay at least $3 on the whole purchase-I don’t know if you can get your money back-maybe could exchange it for something else.
When I started I had to do this many times-so don’t feel bad-most stores are very understanding if you let them know you are learning how to shop there.
WOW, you guys. 75 comments and it’s only Sunday evening. This is a great week! Thank you all for what you do to help each other out and share your scenarios, so fun to read!
Just saw a reader’s comment on iheartriteaid-some stores have oral
care coupon books-good for some of the deals this week! So keep your eyes open &/or ask at your store.
I tried at Hillsboro today-they hadn’t heard about it & they are couponers also.
I just got mine over there so they have them now
At the RiteAid in McMinnville the Crest mouthwash has a free 254 mL bottle of mouthwash attached to it so I got 3 Crest mouthwashes for a $1.25. This was using the BOGO coupon and the $0.75 off 1 and the $3 +UP.
What am I missing on the Revlon SCR’s available? It seems like the beauty tools SCR is better through 7/31. You only have to buy $5 to get a $4SCR. See the nail buffer example above. If I wait until 8/1 it looks like its only a $2 SCR. I think I am missing something though??
stephanie,
The Revlon SCR for July is a $4 SCR when you buy 2 items at $5 or more. You can still get a good deal this week because the $5 requirement is based on the shelf price, not sale price.
Yesterday, I bought 2 tweezers that had a shelf price of $6.00. Because of the sale they rang up together for $9 and I used 2-$1 coupons and 1-$2vv coupon. I paid $5, received a $4 UpR and will receive a $4 SCR. Even if you don’t have the coupons or don’t want to purchase the more expensive items, you can score a good deal with the sale and UpR’s this week. I would wait until after 8/1 if you’re not interested in the more expensive products though, might as well qualify for the new SCR since it doesn’t have any price requirements.
Hopefully this makes sense to you, I realize I probably rambled a bit more than I needed to.
Brenda’s right, the way I worded it is not totally clear. Through 7/31, the items have to be $5 or more shelf price. These were confusing, especially with the different months overlapping! The reason I purchased mine on Sunday is because I won’t be able to get to a Rite Aid for the rest of the week and I wanted to take advantage of some sort of moneymaker. A good deal which ever way you slice it.
Oh geez- I think I totally misread your post and the booklet. I was thinking $5 combined for the two items. I thought I was golden- darn. That was confusing. Thanks for your responses!
My receipt is not showing me the running total for my Healthy Essentials +UP Reward. Is anyone else having this issue? I was trying to find out if the detangler I bought added to my total, but I don’t know since my receipt didn’t tell me.
Mine didn’t show it either-so far I got $15+ of the J & J baby items & did get the monthly $5 +up for that-will add more items to get to the $30 for the Healthy Essentials one-am just planning my strategy now!
this seems to be a chat room almost for couponers….here in Oregon & I’m thrilled to see the different scenarios that go on in our area.
The Nutella deal at Rite Aid is what I’m going for later today. I’ll use two different cards because this looks like a pretty good deal and that’s a hard find for Nutella. Any thoughts?
“Sometimes you feel like a Nut; sometimes you don’t”
(Old Peter Paul Mounds and Almond Joy commercial)
Has anyone besides myself been on a Riteaid high this week?? Toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, baby care products, manufacture’s coupons, video value coupons, etc….I could go on and on but wish EVERY week at Riteaid was this good. I have made 7 trips in 3 days to 5 different Riteaids NOT CLEARING SHELVES sometimes only buying enough to push me over to my next UP reward. I have found some great coupon-friendly cashiers who have actually helped me with my transactions and given me coupons out of the Riteaid Oral Care booklet to sweeten some of my deals. Now if we can get Albertson’s TTV’s this weekend that would be GREAT!
Hey Jim,
Which stores did you find the Oral Care coupon book? I checked with my stores and none of them have it yet.
Yes it has been a very fun week-I looked for the books too, but no one in Hillsboro knows about them-wondering too where they are?
Thank you for all the great match ups. I’m afraid I have been to my Rite Aid 4 times this week it is so much fun!
I have been several, several times already & hope to go more, if I get more coupons from my friends!
It has been a great week.
Thanks for all your hard work Melody!!! I spent $26 OOP (used +ups from last week) and have $19+ups. I will have my husband grab a couple more items for one of the snack promos I only need $4 to get another $3+up. So I ended up with lots of applesauce, 2 pasta sauce, 4 containers of nuts, 2 powerade, 2 toothpaste, 2 toothbrushes and a few candy items! Oh and some nail files
GREAT week at Rite Aid!!!
Oh and I get to submit for a $2SCR for the Revlon!
Had some strange and good things happen to me at RiteAid this week. Just today bought Lanacane spray got back $5 up and $1 up that both said Lanacane for a $1mm. Also noticed monthly up reward (again)for pushpins& screws $1 up limit 4. Found color push pins $.64 clearance and recd $1up. Yay again! Earlier this week bought 4 indicator oral b brushes and two Aim tooth pastes, 2 crest toothpaste and 2 crest rinse. Used coupons and got expected up rewards and got a$2 oral b Catalina. Don’t know why, but I’m happy. I wanted to share the info.
I Can Verify that the HILLSBORO store Had lots of Lanacane Spray and yes it is giving a 5+up and a 1+up
