thanks for posting early. My own matchups only caught half of what you did.
I appreciate it too-always like to check yours before I go shopping!
I’m wondering-since their new coupon policy came out: on the dial deal-will it still count as two products (to get the +up on 2) with a BOGO-or will you have to buy 4 to get it (will they now count that as 2?). I have been looking around on other blogs & have seen it both ways.
I am not 100% sure until I try it, but it has always counted on two products in the past (on a BOGO promotion). I’ll try and update this morning, hopefully it continues to work this way!
It works!!! I bought two on BOGO promotion and received $2 +UP Reward!
Thanks for posting the confirmation-so I know before I go out later today! So that really is a great price!
I also wrote down good deals on Orbit (4/17 SS coupon) and Stride (5/15 SS coupon) gums (haven’t looked up the coupons yet-so hopefully our area got both of these). Sale price is .77 on both this week.
Also a more complicated one (haven’t fully studied it out yet-but it looks promising): this week there is a $10 +Up when you spend $30 on both Aveeno & Neutrogena (one for each brand-can’t mix them)
-also there are Rite Aid coupons for one of each of these products in their ad
-also there is a Video Value on Neutrogena
-AND there is another +Up deal that overlaps with these-that runs June-July (this type generally tracks purchases-so you don’t have to do them all in one purchase): $15 + Up when you spend $50 on many skin care brands-including these!!
See the new monthly SCR ad (by the weekly ad) in their store for details!
This should make for a great deal, I have all the coupons listed on the full match ups. I’m hoping to write down some prices when I head in this morning!
Just remembered too on the Gums-there are VV coupons too that make these really good prices! Sorry I forgot before.
Just a quick note . . . Rite Aid’s policy changed as of 5/25/11 on their BOGO.
Rite Aid accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased. A customer can use one “cents off” coupon in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item.
Buy One Get One Free coupons cannot be used in conjunction with a Buy One Get One Free promotion.
We have noted this and all of the match ups should reflect that. I did contact customer service and you can use a “cents off” coupon for two items on a BOGO promotion. For example, in the Oxi scenario, you can use a $3 off 2 coupon since you are technically only using one “cents off” coupon.
Thanks for checking into this. I was a bit bummed about this new policy. To clarify, (as an example) I cannot use TWO $1/1 or $2/1 or $3/1 or etc coupons on a BOGO sale, but I could use ONE $1/2 or $2/2 or $3/2 or etc coupon on a BOGO sale? Thanks for the help!
Exactly. I was bummed too, but I’m doing my best to still find good deals.
I just did the Oxi-Clean deal at my local store with the $3/2 coupon and it worked great!
Yes we do have to readjust our thinking! Yesterday though-I tried to use a VV coupon that was $2/2 on the Dixie paper plates I had a BOGO raincheck on and the computer beeped so it didn’t seem to work?
Meloday did the computer beep when you used the $3/2 coupon?
Charolyn – Nothing beeped at all, went through just fine. I’m wondering it it had something to do with the way they inputted the rain check?
So the Oral B deal only works on the toothbrush not the refill? My P&G q says $3/1 toothbrush or is there another q I’m missing? Thanks! We really need the refills:-)
The +UP Reward works on the refill, but I do think the coupon is only valid on the toothbrush. I should have clarified a little better.
I don’t have my coupon handy cause I used it but I got one of each. Tooth and a refill. Ups printed fine. My second Veet up didn’t print though.
Hmmm. The riteaid in salem did not print out the $3+up reward for the greeting cards.. and the cashier was not aware of any sale for them either. Just a heads up
I just did this deal. It has to be on the $1.29 and higher. But the ad shows that you should get a $3.00 when you buy 3. Page 7 shows the deal.
How did you find the $1.29 cards? I gave up after looking at a dozen or so of what seemed like lower cost cards and they were all $3 or so…
My store in Beaverton had a section of $.99 and $1.29.
You must have posted right after I went to bed last night and I didn’t have time to check before church this morning, which means I missed the $2.00 Blink coupon on my post-church trip to RA. Bummer! Free is good, but a money maker is always better. Oh well.
I always do Rite Aid post church also
! If I don’t make it my favorite cashier always notices!
Are you sure you can use all three coupons for the Nestle bars at the same time? I know the $.35 cent ones would work, but I’m not sure the BUY 2 GET 1 FREE would work at the same time. Wouldn’t that be using 2 coupons for the same item? Did anyone test this out yet? Thanks
FYI, the Oxiclean printable is for $3/one pre-treater and one powder, so you can’t use it with the BOGO. I learned the hard way.
What coupon did you use? I used the coupons from the insert and they were off two of any pre-treaters. Worked great this morning!
Oh duh, I just read that you used the printable, sorry.
I didn’t print it, but the reason I posted was b/c Hot Coupon World said it was off of any products. Sorry for the confusion!
No worries, I still had my insert coupon to use. Can you tell me, if I were to buy more off a clipping service, can I get a rain check to use them later if they run out of product before sale is over on Saturday? I’m still new to the rite aid deals. Thanks!
They should be able to either write them as BOGO or half the regular price for each item. I’ve never done a rain check on a BOGO, but do know they will do it. My store had several in stock but they were going fast!
Where do you find the P&G Everyday Saving Coupon Booklet (used for the Crest deal)?
This book was available quite a long time ago and actually was a rebate deal. If you spent a certain amount ( I think it was $50) on certain P & G items and sent in your receipts they mailed you the coupon book to you. Sorry I can’t remember more of the specific details, but all of the coupons expire on 6/30/11 so hopefully they will run a similar promotion soon!
Thank you for the info. I hope they do too.
Also, unadvertised pricing on 2vests. Sensitive shower gel is $4.49 and the taller one with the sponge that’s usually around $11 is on sale for $6.69. Now your prices may be slightly different as my usual cheapest Veet is $6.29.
Silly iPhone. Sale on 2 Veets.
2vests, love it!
Following worked today. 2 Veet strips $4.79 regular price or $4.31 w/10% Wellness discount. Used (1) $2 in-ad (RC49), (1) $1 VV (RC49), and (2) $2 mqs. Paid $1.62 ($8.62 – $7), received $5 +UP. I don’t do Facebook but there’s apparently an additional $2 overage for those of you that do.
Do other stores accept the Rite-Aid video Value coupons? They say Manufacture coupon on the top?
I was in riteaid today and they were concerned about the amount of coupons people were using on the veet and the new coupon policy. I overheard them discussing it and reading the new policy and they interpreted it to mean you can only use 2 coupons per item, the in store coupon and mq. It did not look like to them that you could use the vv q also. I am just wondering about the policy and were they interpreting it correctly?
That is true that you can use the in-ad Q and a manufacturer coupon OR a VV coupon and a manufacturer coupon. You wouldn’t be able to use all three together, as both the VV coupon and the in-ad coupon are coded with a RC49.
The reason you can do the scenario above is you are buying two products, using two manufacturer coupons and only one in-ad and one VV. So basically two coupons per item. Does that make sense?
So basically, your store was interpreting the policy correctly.
How many SCR can I get on one item? Can I buy two of the same qualifying items and get two SCR’s credited to my account? Thanks!
Most of the SCR’s are limit one as a general rule, but I do try to note when they are more than that. If you’re talking about the Blink SCR, it is limit one.
Thanks Melody! I was thinking the John Frieda would be a great one to stock up on. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the $5/1 coupon in the Oregonian. Booo! I haven’t done a Rite Aid trip yet but I think I’ll go for it this week!
Rite Aid has $10 UP Reward when you purchase $30 of P&G products they have listed. Old Spice deoderant and wash along with Secret deoderant are 2/$7. Can you tell me if the scenario below would work? I am new to all of this and get a little confused.
Purchase (4) Old Spice Deoderant 2/$7, (4) Old Spice Wash 2/$7 and (2) Secret Deoaderant 2/$7. Can I then use the following coupons (2) 2/$1 off deoderant, (4) buy deoderant get wash free and still get the $10 Reward or does the purchase have to equal $30 after coupons to get the $10 Reward?
Your scenario should work just fine, as long as your total is $30 before coupons. I have a similar scenario on the full match ups and several of my readers have done it successfully, out of pocket was around $11 and still received the $10 +UP!
It is always nice to be able to confirm a scenario when you are new at something. Thanks for your site, it is very helpful.
I just went to Rite-Aid and used 2 crest coupons for $1/1 for which I received the $1.60 +UP. It doesn’t make it free because I can’t apply the +UP on that purchase. Now I can go back and use 2 more $1/1 coupons and redeem my +UP rewards on 2 more crest’s and those should be free. I find it misleading because Rite-Aid advertises a certain price reflecting the +UP when you can’t use it on the same transaction. Any thoughts or comments?
After you get one +UP the goal is to keep using it to get more-so you never have more money out of pocket and then you will always be getting that discounted price.
So yes-you don’t the first time, but keep shopping regularly (at least every 2 weeks-because they tend to expire in 2 weeks-sometimes longer) and you will every time!
