When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now
each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?

Cheers!

Is it just me or is there something up with using the site’s store headings? Usually I just click on the Rite Aid link to show me the posts from this week, but the last few days it only shows the older posts from last month. The only way I can seem to find it is by scrolling through all of the posts for the last week.

There are a few technical issues going on. Hoping we will get it worked out soon.

This week’s sale on RA Omeprazole is even better than expected! I bought it today and an unexpected $5 UpR printed! Here’s how the deal worked for me.
Buy 1 RA Omeprazole 42 count $19.99 ($18.39 with 20% discount)
(note: the 28 count boxes with 14 count bonus does not work)
use $6 in-ad coupon = $12.39 OOP, Received $5 UpR
Awesome deal if you use it! I haven’t figured out what the limit for the UpR is, there were no signs in the store and my receipt doesn’t show that I reached the UpR limit. Maybe it’s a monthly deal?

anyone know if i can use the Venus razor bogo cpn on the Bogo50% off sale my ad shows simply venus 4pk? how does this work out?

Brenda March 19, 2013 at 2:01 am

Sandra,
I’m not sure which coupon you’re specifically talking about, but Rite Aid’s written coupon policy states that you are not allowed to use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO 50% off promotion.

“Buy One, Get One Free coupons cannot be used in conjunction with a Buy One, Get One Free or with a Buy One, Get One at a % off promotion.”

They use to allow it, but when they made their most recent update to their coupon usage rules it included several new restrictions in regards to BOGO sales and coupons.

Does anyone know what else is included in the monthly promo for the finish tabs? Buy 10 get 3…

charolyn March 18, 2013 at 11:28 am

The small palmolive dish soap is I believe-odd the large size isn’t-I looked at that the week the large size was on sale, but no labels anyway.

Just noticed on the Old Wisconsin-there is also a $1 +up/2-so only .50 each-must be a monthly +up. I like the turkey ones & got the beef to try this time too.

Howard March 17, 2013 at 5:37 pm

Didn’t know about those, but I found a couple of Silky Touch 3 razors in the 4-pack. $7.03 for two, BOTH $3 cpns scanned without incident, paid $1.03 and got the $1 UP.

charolyn March 17, 2013 at 6:13 pm

Read this after I posted above-looks like the same one :-)

Great minds think alike. :)
Happy St Pat’s Day to all my pals, and have a great week ahead!
(I saw some funky socks for sale at Albertson’s checkout the other day that had “Kiss Me–I might be Irish” on them.)

I was happy to come home after shopping to a kitchen smelling of Corned Beef and Cabbage in the crockpot.
Easy meal that everyone loves to eat…makes my day!

Reply

charolyn March 17, 2013 at 10:50 pm

Thanks to my fellow Rite Aid friends :-) Great idea Brenda-in a crock pot-thanks for the idea :-)

Howard March 18, 2013 at 5:24 pm

Same thing we had; but of course I passed on the cabbage.

charolyn March 18, 2013 at 6:32 pm

Yes we know Howard (regarding your distrust of vegetables ) :-)

Howard March 19, 2013 at 6:25 pm

I mentioned the crock idea to my better half–she said we’d had corned beef in the crockpot sometime in the past. We still have the same crockpot we got as a wedding gift in 1975. It will outlive both of us, probably because we rarely use it. Looked at Safeway for marked-down corned beefs today and found none. Asked the butcher; he said he had none left.

Brenda March 19, 2013 at 8:28 pm

My crockpot and I are BFF’s!
I use it at least a couple times a week, so easy to throw a bunch of stuff in it and come home to a yummy smelling kitchen and dinner is nearly made.

PS. Your crockpot and I are the same age!

Brenda March 17, 2013 at 4:56 pm

I found some Bic Silky Touch Razors (10 pk.) for $4.49. Makes them .49 for both packages after the coupons and UpR assuming your cashier lowers the price of your second coupon. If they don’t change it, it will be a moneymaker.

Reply

charolyn March 17, 2013 at 6:12 pm

I got the next step up-which is a 3 blade instead of 2-so just over $6 for 2 & paid just .03 for both-as the $3 coupon scanned fine for both & they didn’t need to adjust it.

Thanks Melody!
Seems a bit like a boring week, maybe it because I’ve been spoiled with all of the good deals in the past few weeks.

Reply

Jane March 17, 2013 at 10:18 am

I agree, it is a boring week. Has anyone come up with any good scenarios for the spend $30 get a $20 up promo? The Oregonian didn’t get the St. Joseph’s coupons, so any scenarios besides that one…

Reply

Howard March 17, 2013 at 1:39 pm

I’m not messing with this one, but you could buy a bunch of Finesse and get the $20 UP. Buy 8 @ $3.99, or 9 if you have the 10% Wellness discount, or 10 if you have the 20% discount. Not aware of any existing cpns on Finesse. But there are many other products that qualify; check iheartriteaid.com under March +UP deals.

Reply

Brenda March 17, 2013 at 2:07 pm

You can get a pretty decent deal on finesse, if you have access to multiple stores or have one that stocks well. Since the Finesse is BOGO this week (2/3.99), you could buy 16 for $31.92 which will make them .75 each. I don’t see this as being practical for most people. I doubt (and hope not) that a cashier would let you buy that many at once, but this deal tracks so if you have 4 or 5 stores you could potential do the deal…
I’ve been trying to rustle up a better deal, but there are not many coupons out there for the products that are part of this promo, save the St. Joe’s Aspirin. Will report back if I figure out one. I don’t have many UpR’s this week, so I’m not really motivated to do the deal because of the cash I would have to spend on it.

Reply

Howard March 17, 2013 at 5:34 pm

Thanks for pointing out the BOGO; I knew about it but forgot. I’d decided a couple days ago not to buy 16 of them.

Reply

Howard March 17, 2013 at 5:45 pm

I had a $5 UP expiring today, so had to blow it on two jugs of Xtra detergent. Still have $8 worth to use by next Sunday, not too bad.

Reply

jodi March 16, 2013 at 10:14 pm

Shucks! The Robin Eggs coupon (2-24SS) expired today (16th).

Reply

Brenda March 16, 2013 at 11:25 pm

Jodi,
Good News!
I just got the early edition of the Oregonian and there is a new one in the SS that is identical to the 2/24 one that expires today!

Reply

Howard March 17, 2013 at 1:29 pm

There’s a new one in today’s Oregonian, good till 3-31. If you have two and buy 6 bags for $9, you’ll pay 83 cents a bag, $5 for 6. Or buy 3 and pay $2.69 after cpn. (Probably $2.59 if you have the 20% Wellness discount on the reg price of $1.99).

Reply

Howard March 16, 2013 at 4:03 pm

I’m pretty sure the Oregonian did not have the Mitchum cpn–they never do. Also, with the 20% discount on $3.99, the deodorant would be about 19 cents, almost but not exactly free.

Reply

Brenda March 17, 2013 at 6:14 am

Howard,
There’s a Mitchum coupon on coupons.com that you could use!

Reply

Howard March 17, 2013 at 1:25 pm

Thanks, already had two of them. I didn’t mention them in the earlier post because Melody already provided a link. I was just trying to prevent others from getting frustrated if they don’t find them in the 2-10 SS.

Reply

Brenda March 17, 2013 at 2:10 pm

Of course you already have them, guess I forgot who I was talking to!
Us stinky Washingtonians got the Mitchum coupon in the Columbian!

Reply

Howard March 17, 2013 at 5:42 pm

My store (Tigard/King City) had just a few of the $3.99 Mitchums left today. They also have some twin-packs and larger sizes which cost more but also have the “$2 off with in-ad cpn” shelf tag. Mine were $.19 each after 20% discount.
