I didn’t see the Free Up2U single pack of gum listed? All single packs of gum are $2/2 which means you could use the $1/1 single pack of Up2U gum for FREE GUM!!
Good call! I wasn’t even thinking that the Mentos were included. Just updated the post, thanks!
I don’t think the Oregonian got this Q
There have been numerous Mentos coupons & I don’t think we got any of them:-(
Correct. The Oregonian did not have these gum cpns. However, I just snagged a couple while visiting Mom in Fla (she’s been saving the Sunday circulars at my request) and will use them when I come home this weekend.
Use the $3/2 Nature Made products from 2/26 SS for an even better deal.
Oh geez, you’re right. I even listed it in the coupons above!
How do you obtain the $5 monthly +UP? I want to make sure my store has it before purchasing the diapers, thanks!!
It was clearly advertised at my local store. If there is signage at yours, you shouldn’t have any problems. If it doesn’t print, it is a clearly listed monthly +UP, so CS should take care of you!
quick question about the loreal youth code scenario…
for the L’oreal Youth Code Regenerating Skin Care Foaming Gel Cleanser is that price of $6.39 after the 50% off 2nd price? or that the price? i thought they were that price normaly?
or would you buy them in seprate transactions to get a better price since its B1G1/2off?
Man, this week threw me for a loop! I just updated the scenario. You would pay full price for the kit, then $3.99 for the cleanser. Would be $2.99 each after all coupons, reward and rebate. I believe the rebate form says all purchases must be made in one transaction. Thanks for catching that Kris!
here is a quick observation i am not sure if i am right or not, some how i am already at 450+ pts on my card and have paid maybe $10 OOP, is RA counting RAcoupons(RC49) towards points? no clue how i got that high so fast, and i dont fill precriptions
I think their system is wacky this year. I got my $20 +UP for spending $100 in Feb, got (2) $5.00 +UP for spending $25 on Advil, plus purchased several non BUY & SAVE items in both Jan and Feb, I am only at 92 pts. Your problem is a good problem.
I am like you Yvonne-I have no idea how they are calculating this year-but it doesn’t seem like coupons are adding towards the total, which means I will never reach $1000 like last year!
So I haven’t shopped at Rite Aid for more then 6 months because we moved and we don’t have a RA in town. I have heard that there have been some changes to the UP reward program, but have they came to the Portland area? Can I roll the UP rewards on the same day?
Like I said, we moved and there is no RA in our new town, but for the diaper deal I will totally make a trip into town. I’m hoping to do 2 transactions for the diapers since there is a limit of 2 UP Rewards.
I think most stores are letting you roll them still-but they can choose not to-so ask at your store (if it’s a drive, I would even call ahead).
So sad you don’t have a close Rite Aid
Okay thanks. Its not that big of a deal to me. I have such a big stockpile of “personal items” that I haven’t had to buy anything for a year, and we are good for probably another year. I don’t miss it all that much — except when there are diaper deals. We still have a Fred Meyers, Safeway, Walgreens and Albertsons and they keep me happy
And with a toddler, a house, and a baby due this summer they keep me busy enough!
Some stores let you roll still but it is printed that you can not use the ups untill 6 am the next day.
For the formula does RA allow a man q, store q and a ‘check’ the company sent? I have a $5 enfagrow check
Lorri,
I have used similac checks several times at mine with other coupons. If they look confused, you can remind them to use it as a form of payment at the end of the transaction.
Is the $3.12 ea. on the Disney gummy vitamins a great deal? I don’t need them right now, but like to have some stocked up so I don’t have to buy them when they are not on sale (Wal-Mart reg. price is about $5-6 ea.). Just wondering if I should wait and see if I can get them cheaper?
That’s kind of a tough question. If you are like me and a fairly casual couponer, it’s a decent deal. If you like to shop at lots of different stores with lots of coupons, you can probably find them cheaper. I’m not going to buy any because we have approximately 72 bottles in the pantry, but if I was down to my last 1-2, I would pick them up at this price. Hope that helps.
It does, thanks! In my area, we only a have a few stores available: Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Wal-mart & Safeway. R.A. seems to always be the cheapest for vitamins & I am down to 1-2 bottles. Think I’ll pick some up tomorrow!
It always makes me feel better to pick up a few at a decently low price, than waiting for a better deal and running out!
Yes as a couponer-it is terribly hard to pay full price on anything anymore
With the diapers deal, where is the list of monthly +up rewards? I want to make sure I can find out the info before I buy the diapers/wipes.
As far as I know, there isn’t a list. It should just be advertised in the store. All the info I have listed above is what is found on the shelf tag.
Ok, thanks! I’ll have to check out my store signs.
The North Bend store told me that they don’t always get sent the monthly +UP shelf tags, so we have to buy the items and then return them if it doesn’t work.
For the Playtex deal, you have a link to the website but I don’t see a coupon available. I signed up on the website, was there more I was supposed to do or a link to click on?
Ah, never mind. I see listed that the coupon comes in an email at a later time
I only have a $1/1 advil congestion 2/19RP
As for Advil and Robitussin, my RA has some kind of a system that beeps when you buy more than two at a time, apparently both of those items are considered to be “a controlled substance”. They didn’t let me buy more than two because of that, but told me that I can come back the next day:)
Question on Catalina Coupons printed at grocery stores… They say manufacturers coupon on top, but have the store logo on the right and side. Can these coupons be used at any store or just the store they were printed at… I ask because I have a couple of formula coupons I was going to try and use at Rite Aid…
Fred Meyers, Walmart and Target will take them, but I don’t know of any other store that will take them with another store’s logo on them.
My RiteAid will take them only if they scan correctly. They won’t override it, which I understand.
Depends…if the bar code starts with a “9″ then it means the coupon was programmed to be accepted only at that store (and will beep at other stores). If the bar code starts with a “5″ then it means the coupon was programmed to be accepted anywhere. A lot of times, cashiers will mistake the two (or don’t know the difference). Rite Aid cashiers always seem to be confused when it comes to catalina coupons and will refuse them every time. I simply tell them to scan them (the “5″ coupons) to show them that they will, in fact, work. They then call the managers up (because they can’t believe it when they actually scan) who then okay them. Stay strong!
I just updated the John Frieda scenario, I noticed this morning that the $2/1 coupon excludes Full Repair. I will post in a little bit, but I bought 3 Pampers jumbo packs at $29.97 total and it rounded up to $30, printing both the $10 and $5 +UP Reward. $3.49 each!!
I did that as well!! I was pretty happy =o)
I’m a bit foggy this morning, will this work even if you have the gold level discount?
It will! I have the Gold discount as well, $9.99 is the sale price so it won’t be affected.
So tried the diaper deal as posted…the wipes are NOT counting toward the monthly reward
shows that I have $20 toward it. bummer.
Bummer! The wipes were posted at my store as participating, but maybe it is just select varieties? Sorry it didn’t work!
Wipes are included on the front page of the Rite Aid ad. It says Pampers wipes 180-216 ct. Worked for me this morning.
They are definitely included in the Spend $30, Get $10 weekly promo, but I’m assuming the $5 monthly +UP didn’t print. Did yours Heather, or just the $10?
Same for me with the wipes. Going to call customer service tomorrow.
I bought the scenario listed in the match-ups, and it did print the $10 +up, but not the $5, as that particular size of wipe for some reason isn’t included, so I returned and bought a 3rd package of diapers, and got my $5 +up. The shift supervisor was awesome for helping me with this!
I was at my local store yesterday and they had tags showing that the wipes were included in the $5 +UP. Today, I bought 2 packages of the Swaddlers and 2 packages of the (216 count) wipes and only received the $10 +UP reward and not the $5 +UP for the baby items. I’m also going to call customer service tomorrow.
At my store (Lebanon) this morning, they were out of all Pampers up through size 4s; I wasn’t surprised. This was a first, though: they issued me a rain check with the two +UPs written on it. The assistant manager assured me that the two +UP amounts would be discounted off the purchase price. My $29.97 total will turn into $10.47 out of pocket after 3 $1.50/1 coupons and $15 in +UPs. I’m still not convinced that this will work when I go back to the store with my rain check. Has anyone else experienced this? Did it work?
The stores in Salem write all the rainchecks with +ups on them. I’ve even had them do it when the +up makes the item free.
you should have no problem thats what they are supposed to do with rain checks. Ive done it to many times to count. if the cashier tries to tell you no just be confident about it and dont let them try to act like they know everything. Over time ive noticed most employees know nothing about their policy its just a job to them.
Actually, writing rainchecks to include UPs is a big no-no according to corporate. The reason is that UPs are coupons put out by the manufacturer’s. RA is reimbursed for these by the manufacturer’s just like regular manufacturer coupons. When they write rainchecks to include UPS (meaning that when you redeem the raincheck they take off the value of the UP on the price you are paying) RA is eating that cost. Many stores/management/cashiers do not understand this but this is something that can cause people to lose their jobs. The correct way is to give customers a raincheck for the sale price and then when we redeem the raincheck, we have to call customer service and have them send us the UPs from that purchase. It’s a pain, but it allows RA corp to track those UPs properly and get reimbursed for them correctly.
Yes, I received a raincheck in late Jan/early Feb for Centrum Probiotics for sale price of $9.99, which had a $10 plusup if you spent $25. I went back in late Feb and bought 3 for $29.97, then they took off the $10 for the plusup value, plus I had 3 $5 cpns and a $3 RA register receipt cpn for Centrum. So $1.97 for all 3, which could have been a moneymaker if I’d had two more of those $3 cpns.
Already submitted for the $10 Pfizer refund using Advil PM, so didn’t do that deal for the Centrum.
I shop at Lebanon RA and have redeemed several rain checks with +ups factored on them just fine
My stores register wouldn’t scan my Pampers coupons, so they adjusted the sales price which effected the total for my UP rewards. It took them a while to figure it out.
RA was absolutely crazy today. They said the system didn’t update this morning, so I couldn’t do the platex deal because they couldn’t round the coupon down. They also couldn’t scan the coupons so I had to pay full OOP and they gave me cash for the coupons. Big headache. And we were almost late to church because there was such a big line.
After perusing all of the above comments, I’m glad I’m in Florida for the week where there are NO RiteAids! Also glad that my five kids are grown and not in diapers! There are about FIVE Walgreens here within about a 3-mile radius. (Walgreens must be the Starbucks of South Florida.)
I’m loving Rite aid this week with the great in store coupons. With my 20% discount I’m getting some really low prices and trying some new products. Thank you for posting the coupon deals. Aquanet hairspray for 39 cents plus tax, Playtex pacifier’s with coupon is free plus tax and one of my favorite’s is the Kozy foot covers- they really are cute and comfortable!
do you have to make a $10 purchase of arm and hammer products in a single transaction in order to get the 5+up or you can do separate transactions? Like can I make a transaction with $4.79 bogo and come back another time to make another $4.79 bogo would I still be able to get the 5+up?
I’m 99% sure mine tracked on my receipt, so you should be able to do it in separate transactions. Although you would have to add a 3rd item if you were buying items that are $4.79. They only take the cost of one item to count towards the $10.
That’s exactly what I wanted to know, Thank You.
I bought 3 packs of pampers and only got a $10 up, no $5. There was no tracking at the bottom of the reciept either. Strange…
Did you buy them in the last few days? I noted above that the monthly +UP (which was the $5) was only running through the 6th. Sorry you weren’t able to take advantage!
