Wow! What a great list of deals! Do you know when we can load the November video value coupons? I’m excited about the tights!
November’s videos should be available late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. I’m excited about the tights too, great deal! At first glance, this week didn’t look that great, but the more I dove into the ad it got better and better.
If interested, check Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats and Crunchy Nut cereal for Spider Man movie promotional boxes. Six Spiderman codes are worth a free adult movie ticket. We plan to use ours for Les Mis and The Hobbit in December.
I just checked savingstar.com and they’re still showing the $5 on $20 Unilever deal as sold out. Then I logged into my account and saw that I’d activated this deal and have spent $12.85 already! Don’t even remember doing that. Offer good till 11-22, BTW. Note to anyone opening a savingstar.com account: be sure to register your FM, RA, QFC and Albertsons cards with them. You can mix and match among stores to qualify for deals like this one. Once you hit the $5 level, you can have your money sent to PayPal, checking account, etc.
Love the tip, thanks H
You’re welcome, and speaking of cupcakes, my daughter is making me some for my Halloween birthday. AND…if you register online at bridgeport-village.com for the loyalty program at that Tigard mall, they give you a free movie ticket and some other goodies in your birthday month. (It doesn’t say that on the site, but I’ve gotten it for the past 2-3 years.) I picked mine up yesterday and devoured a free red velvet cupcake at the Sweetest Thing kiosk. The movie pass does not expire.
Hello.
I have a general question about Rite Aid:
Say they offer a $5 Up for spending $15 this week. Do I have to buy more than $15 at once or would two trips of $8 each trigger the up?
Thank you.
For that kind of reward (Spend $X, Get $X +UP), you can break up your transactions and it should track on the bottom of your receipt. I generally just write my scenarios as a single purchase to keep it easy.
Check your Rite Aid catalina manu coupons-I had some for pantene, proglide razor & Thermacare!
Thanks for the reminder, Charolyn!
not seeing the no nonsense tights coupon in 10/21 SS – must be regional here in Portland? They would still be free without coupon and I saw an end cap full of them couples weeks ago so there should be plenty for our legs ladies…. sorry Howard!
I didn’t find it either.
Who knows, maybe Howard should hold on to the tights for those cold winter nights!
lol!
is the $2 up on the no non sense tights a monthly up or what? because i didn’t receive that when i purchased tights 2 weeks ago…
It was clearly marked at my store, through 10/30. This may be one that you have to double-check signage at your store. I’ll take a picture when I head in today.
Thank you is it all the tights?
Any chance stores in the Portland area have it-if it isn’t marked? Has anyone tried it?
I just did it today and it worked great! They had actually removed the monthly +UP signs, but the rewards printed just fine.
Thanks for the update Melody.
If you’re buying any Gillette disposable razors or cartridges, you can combine them with the Fusion razor and use the $5 cpn in today’s P&G. But the $4 razor cpn listed above requires no added purchase.
The $4 razor cpn is technically not valid on the regular Fusion razor, just the Fusion ProGlide and Fusion Power ProGlide. The former is $10.49 (was $8.79 with my 20% wellness discount), less $8 for cpn and +up; the latter I think is $12.99 and will ring up at $9.99 regardless of what discount level you have.
True Howard-on all accounts. I got the fusion proglide with my discount (my store runs higher-so about $1).
I dont see the in-ad Therma Care coupon…is that regional?
It’s mixed in with the Advil as well, it’s all one coupon. I’m assuming it’s not regional, just easy to miss!
Page 9 of the Oregonian RA ad.
Isn’t the Got2B Oillicious a $2.01 MM? It would be 3.99 after VV with $6 total in ups?
I believe so, Suzanne, You should get the $4 UpR for the monthly deal and the $2 UpR for the weekly, assuming that you can actually find it on the shelf and purchase it before 10/30!
None at the store I was at-I have been looking all month!
me, too!
Oh well, I guess my hair is oily enough as it is.
Don’t fret; the oily bird gets the worm.
Colgate cpn in my Oregonian this morning was 50 cents, not 75, but still was free after +up. Limit of 4 +ups.
my colgate coupon today was for $.50/1 not $.75…
Minutes after I left Sunday for shopping, Colgate sent me a happy birthday email with a $1 Total cpn. So back I went today for a 2nd tube, this time as a moneymaker.
The cashier just told me I couldn’t use the buy one get one free pentene coupon with the dollar off coupon. That pampers diapers are 9.99, not nine dollars
I did a similar deal today (on herbal essence)-but you have to buy 4-use 2 BOGO-then you are paying for 2 and the dollar off is on those. You can’t do it if you only buy 2 at a time.
Thanks ill give that a try!
I will say too-it depends on your cashier. My stores are great & I never have a problem. To be sure-just ask before you ring it up & if it is a new person-tell them you heard it should work & maybe they can double check.
Is there another coupon for the herbal essence? I have the BOGO, but thought I saw one for $1/2. Just curious if anyone new. thx.
Yes there is-I used it (with the BOGO, which works if you buy 4-2 are free & that leaves 2 for the $1/2)-look in the 10/7 RP.
Although Rite Aid’s coupon policy re BOGOs is not precisely written, it is more or less clear that you CAN use a BOGO cpn with a cents-off cpn on 2 items, as long as the 2nd cpn doesn’t exceed the price of one item.
“Rite Aid accepts BOGO cpns, however only one cpn can be used for each pair of items purchased. A customer can use one “cents off” cpn in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a BOGO promo (or with a BOGO cpn), although the value of the cents off cpn cannot exceed the selling price of the item. BOGO cpns cannot be used in conjunction w/ a BOGO promo.”
[IF YOU ADD THE WORD "BOGO" in between the words "one" and "cpn" on the first line, this would make perfect sense.]
Heads up on a new Covergirl + Olay Rebate!
Well, it’s new to me at least, the start date was 10/1 so maybe other people have already found them in their stores.
I found a tearpad attached to the security posts at the store entrance.
The details are $10 rebate card when you buy $20 worth of Covergirl/Olay cosmetics. It includes Simply Ageless foundation, blush, concealer etc. Haven’t figured out a scenario yet, but we should be able to find some coupons/store sales to make it even better.
Expires 11/30.
I got a surprise extra $1 +up on the RA facial tissue-I bought 4-got 2- $2 +ups-which I expected and another $1 one! = $1 for 4 boxes and they were the large ones
It is titled “paper products”-the first 2 are “paper towels”. Thinking it is the monthly one-maybe the one that included paper plates.
Have you tried the RA tissue before?
I’m a bit picky with them but at that price it might be worth it!
Definitely worth it! (No I haven’t tried it-but I usually don’t use tissue, but use napkins, as they last better-so don’t think I am picky:-)
If you don’t like it -would be a cheap donation to a school (they go through tons of this) or a food bank.
I read on a later RA post in the comments that the 160 ct and 230 ct are the only tissues producting the extra UP.
Just saw someone didn’t get it on the 160 ct-I did get it on the 230ct.
Good details, glad I haven’t made it there yet!
Thanks again, Stephanie and Charolyn.
I love the updates people share, it sure helps me out!
Me too
I always read them before I shop.
In my travels today, not one of the 3 stores I visited had the large size tissues (230). I tried to buy 4 yesterday at a different store I happened to pass, but they had only 3 left (I bought 2). All 3 I visited today said their shipment was coming in today, so I still have a chance to get 2 more boxes by Sat. Could have bought 4 on Sunday, but I got burned by trying to roll Sunday’s UPs into future purchases on tissues.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HOWARD!
Hope you enjoy your day!
There is a $1 on Hormel completes-10oz in the flu shot coupon book.
Helpful hint for anyone doing the $4 UpR wyb $12 food deal.
Not all of the Sobe Lifewater drinks are working for the deal. My sister tried to get some Orange Coconut Lifewater since there is a picture in the ad of the Coconut Lifewater and it did not ring up on sale or trigger either of the UpR’s.
An easy way to know that the ones you purchase are included is to make sure they ring up for $1.25 each. If they don’t ring up on sale than the UpR probably won’t print either.
Good to know-I am going to try this today.
The white rice is not working either as of yesterday.
Thanks-I avoided the coconut lifewater (although it looked good-but also had no sign by it) and it worked great!
If I buy something that doesn’t have the +up print, what do I do? I bought 2 advils and 2 thermacares but only got 2 $1+ups. I thought it was one for each product, max of 4. Did I misunderstand or do I email rite aid customer service or something?
You should have received 4. The limit was 4 total, regardless of which product you buy. You can call or chat with their CS online and they should be able to send out your additional rewards.
Thanks! I will give that a shot. Thanks for the confirmation.
Yes, I had a similar thing happen today. I bought a Febreeze 5.50z candle expecting to pay $4.99 and get $1up reward. Instead the candle rang up at 3.49 and no up reward. Not sure why. Im going to try and call the CS line too.
I need some help…I want to take advantage of the BOGO 50% off on Neutrogena skincare. I have a GOLD member discount. Will it take 20% off my full price item? Or is it considered “on sale” already as part of the BOGO. I hope this question makes sense. I have gotten burned a few times with my discount causing me to miss the $ amount required for an +UP. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks!
They are already considered “on sale” with the BOGO promo, so your discount won’t come into play at all if you buy in multiples of two. If you buy 3 items, for example, the 3rd item would be affected by your discount.
Yes Jen you have to watch that with the 20% discount-on the positive side though-sometimes it works to your advantage & you save more money
When considering the sale price-if it is less than 20% off-your gold status will take off more (you are charged whichever is the lesser amount). With a BOGO-that is 50% off. A BOG50% off is 25% off-so these aren’t affected by the gold status. As long as you buy in multiples of 2, like Melody said.
Thank you, Melody! I really appreciate all your work. You have helped my family save A LOT.
