On the 2nd Dove deal, wouldn’t you get 3 $2 ups sense your buying 6?
Good call, makes it an even better deal. Thanks Lorri!
Where is the dove hair care $1/1? I am only seeing .25/1 dove hair care in the 9/30 RP.
I believe their is a $1 hair care style product printable on the dove site but that can’t be used with the bogo coupon
I found a $1/1 Dove Men+Care coupon and body wash coupon that won’t fit with the size of the sale. What BOGO coupon are you referring to?
I think the Oregonian only got the $.25/1 dove hair care coupon. That’s also what I found in my RP. The BOGO is on the back page of the RP. You hv to buy a Dove shampoo and conditioner to get 1 styling product free.
My dove Q is .25/1 and the BOGO Q is in the 9/30 RP. The dove Q’s state that you can only use 2 identical Q’s in same shopping trip.
My store bumped up the shelf price of the tugaboo diapers to 9.99 I’m assuming other stores are the same not sure. This week is a better deal on those if you need sizes 3-6 because the mega packs are 13.99 bogo 50% spend $20 get $5. The mega packs are like getting two jumbos in one. So buy two mega @ 20.98 get $5 back essentially 15.98 for 2 mega (4jumbos) $3.99 for 4 jumbos.
My store is still at $8.99, I checked last week. Good price on the mega packs, I’m assuming that is monthly?
no sorry it ended yesterday
How do the Tugaboos compare to Huggies? I’m a Huggies/Kirkland loyalist. Strongly dislike Up&Ups from Target.
I really like the Tugaboos, my 2 year old is in them right now. We generally use Luvs and these are just as good, if not better. They are pretty soft, compared to other store brands I’ve tried. I’ll definitely be picking some up! I also like the wipes, pretty soft and absorbent for store brand.
I definitely agree if you love huggies little movers or huggies in general like i do, you will love tugaboos and also the walgreens brand. I almost never buy huggies anymore because the two store brands are either bogo 50% or almost half off reg. price.
On the Samy products, you indicate they are 4.99 and up on the BOGO. Are the fat foam products 4.99? I have 5.00 coupons for the fat foam which would make them free!!
That’d be nice but Melody’s post said (2/$4.99+), which the (+) part means prices start at $4.99 but some are priced higher {most likely including the FF}
The Fat Foam is closer to $9.99 or $11.99 I believe. The Samy Twisted products are $4.99. Still a good deal on the FF if you have the $5 coupon, especially if it’s a product you really like!
Also the alka selzer deal does not seem to work, the 3.00 off coupon is for a alka seltzer antacid and you buy alka seltzer plus cold. Isn’t the sale for only plus cold. Also I have the rite aid q 2.00 off 2 alka seltzer plus. so you could not use both 3.00 q and 2.00 rite aid q since you have to buy different items for each Q.
The 2/$2 coupon is a rite aid coupon-so you can use it with a manufactures coupon.
I went midnight shopping at rite aid (sacramento, ca). I haven’t bought the dove hair care at all. So today…I got shampoo, conditioner, mousse…used (2) $1 q from recyclebank printed a while back, (1) $2/2 dove hair care products (video values), and (1) free styler when you buy shampoo and conditioner (RP from this past week)…got back (2) $2 +UPs.
I just tried to watch the Got2B VV & it said not available-anyone else having trouble?
I watched it this morning ( Sun. 10-7) and when I went to print
the coupon for Got2B and Nexxus all that came out of the printer was blank paper. I had been printing coupons already so I did not think it was my printer. So I watched another video for Flavorx and
it printed just fine. Do you think that because the Got2B is a moneymaker, they pulled the coupon?
I just printed the Got2B coupon a few minutes ago, you might try again.
Thanks I will.
Got it-took some perseverance
I have this happen (blank sheets of paper instead of coupons) to me often on Sunday mornings and the I have to wait for them to reset my coupons. Might just be a sunday morning thing.
I didn’t see the Schick deal when I looked here yesterday (either it was missing or not yet posted), but I managed to figure it out on my own this morning when clipping. Strangely, one of my two delivered Oregonians had 6 pages in SS that the other one didn’t, so I got only one Schick cpn. I took the BOGO cpn to RA and got two Extremes for $7.19 (20% wellness discount), less two $3 in-ad cpns (limit is one, but some RiteAids allow multiples), so paid $1.19 for two. Funny, I almost got the 10+2 razors with the free movie ticket, but I was afraid the offer might have expired or have been specifically for Spider-Man (pictured on pkg).
Thanks for the tip, Howard. I got the spiderman razors, haven’t checked to see if the movie tickets are expired yet. I decided that $1.03 for 2 -12 count bags was a good enough deal to take my chances with the movie tickets!
Grabbed the Got to B “Oil-licious” products today and got (2)$4 up rewards. These were not marked as producing the monthly up at my store but it worked! After coupon and up reward it was a $3.51 moneymaker!!
It was marked at my store-but they only had one left. That was the only one marked with the monthly +up.
Another great week-great job as usual Melody

The Colgate toothpaste is even better with the 20% discount-a small moneymaker-check the regular prices closely-one type was more expensive.
Also the Proglide Gillette Razor was only about .87 with the 20% discount. Sani hands SCR will be a bit of a money maker with the 10% or 20% discount-as that is the regular price.
I was happy I found two Schick with the movie tickets!! I don’t usually luck out on these finds
My Nestle water coupon was $1/2-still $2.50 each is good-when you buy 2.
The Dove was tricky-as I didn’t take good notes -Melody had it all right, but I had the body wash VV & the manu body wash coupons -but they are both for the larger sizes-$9+ each.
I finally worked it out & am going to get 2 men’s body wash-the $7/2 size & have 2-$2 coupons; 2 shampoo-1conditioner-1 styler-use the buy shampoo/conditioner-get free styler coupon & .25 coupon & $2/2 VV coupon AND I got the Savings Star loaded (thanks, I never knew about that before)-so think it will work out great with all the +ups-weekly & monthly-haven’t done the math yet.
Good work–I passed on the movie ticket razors because I didn’t know if it would still be valid. I think the SCR on Sani-Hands won’t be a moneymaker, as they will refund only the actual purchase price (I think) if the wellness discount applied. We’ll see. I got the last one Sunday morning. Will check out the Gillette razor deal–$9.99 is the sale price but the 20% might make it less, as you suggested. I think list price is usually in the $12-13 range at RA.
I have always had the full price refunded through SCR. Generally, if the rebate booklet says a certain price, that is what will be refunded. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any fine print that states otherwise, but I could be wrong.
I’ll have to try to remember what happens with this when my submission posts, probably tomorrow. The SCR book does specify Purchase Price will be refunded.
Guess what? The Sani-Hands rebate posted today for $2.39, which was the purchase price after wellness discount. No overage.
There’s a moneymaking deal with the Halloween make-up. There are several kinds of glow in the dark nailpolish and glitter hairspray that are priced at $2.99 +. They are BOG50% and a $3 UpR for each one. Limit 2.
I bought 2 Fright Night Nailpolishes $2.99/1.49 = $4.48 and received 2 $3 UpR’s.
Easy moneymaker with no coupons needed!
The temporary tattoos are included, too.
What area are you in-I have checked several stores in hillsboro/beaverton & they don’t seem to have any Halloween items marked this way. I’m thinking it is a certain type our stores didn’t get?
I’m in SW WA, but I get the Oregonian ad. Check on page 7 in the middle of right hand side of the page. There are several brands that are on sale. The only ones that I found with the $2.99 price was Fright Night. There were a lot marked at $3.99, which would make the items free. I found mine in the Halloween aisles, but they also had some displays set up near the make-up area. If your store doesn’t have any sale signs up, you could have them price check it for you. If they ring up BOG50%, they should print the $3 UpR as well.
Hope you can find some!
I checked at my store today as well and none of them were marked correctly! They were all marked 25% off, but did ring up at BOGO 50% off and produced the +UPs. Worth having them price-check for you.
Charolyn, I got these (the temporary tattoos) at the Tanasbourne Rite Aid. They were on one of the higher shelves, in the Halloween section, near the costume make-up.
Thanks everyone-I was ready to give up-but will try again! I did see them marked 25% off.
I don’t know if this technically allowed but rite aid took the $6.00 off the BOGO and their $3.00 off store coupon for the Schick razors. The value packs do not say 10+ 2 they say 12 razor value pack… They do have other packages that say a number + a another number.
I did it too-it is a store coupon + a manufactures coupon which is correct policy.
I just remembered what the confusion probably is-thinking they are both manu coupons-they do label them that way in the Rite Aid ad-but when they start with the RC-they really are store coupons. (same issue in the centrum discussion below).
I actually turned down several great deals when I started at Rite Aid-thinking it was two manu coupons
Oh, me too. For years I refused to combine a man cpn with an in-ad man cpn, even when the cashier suggested I do it. Finally gave in and now do it regularly. Sometimes the in-ad cpn even has a notation re additional savings in Sunday paper.
Oh shoot, I’ll have to go back and get some! Our paper didn’t get the BOGO, but the $6/2 coupon would be great. Thanks! And yes, Charolyn is right, that is the correct policy.
Yep, that’s what I did. Four packages of razors and two movie tickets…all for free! Whoo-hoo!
The BOGO in on coupons.com
Is there another step (purchase) between when you purchase your product and when you use your +UP Reward in the scenarios above for +UP rewards? I don’t follow how it works since you have to go back the following day (according to the fine print) at the earliest to use the reward after your initial purchase. So are these scenarios happening in multiple transactions? Sorry if everyone knows this, I just keep reading it over and over trying to make sense of it
Yes the +ups you get can’t be used until the next day.
What I generally do is (after I first got some +ups) I match the +ups I use to the amount I get back & then you are never spending more out of pocket for the +ups amount-which is how you truly get these items for the bottom line price. Know too (for Oregon now)-I have opted out of having the +ups on my card-so they are on the bottom of the receipt and you cut them out. If they are on the card-you have no control over how they are used.
Let me know if any of this doesn’t make sense to you-it takes a little while to get used to-but once you do you will be getting these prices too
Thanks Charolyn! I’m new to this so a lot of it still doesn’t make a lot of sense yet. What do you mean when you “match the +ups I use to the amount I get back”? I bought some diapers that were on sale and got a $2 +UP reward for the next time but then what, do you go right back and use a coupon with the +Up to get the best price? I’m trying to break down something like this so I understand it better:
Pampers Jumbo Pack Diapers or Easy Ups on sale $9.99
Buy 1, Get $2 +UP Reward – limit 2
Buy 2
Use $1/2 coupon from 9/30 PG insert
Pay $18.98, Get $4 in +UPs
$7.49 each after coupon and rewards
So that makes it $7.49 AFTER you first buy 2 packages of diapers, get the +UP reward then go back and purchase more? Are you using the coupon the first time you purchase them or the second time with the +UP reward?
Thank you for your help!!
Yes to actually get the $7.49 price you have to have the $2 in +ups first-which in your case, as you are just starting & don’t already have them-will be on the second purchase (which has to be the next day or later).
Now with the $1/2 coupon-you actually have to buy 2-and then you will get $4 in +ups.
So now you have $4 in +ups-you can then buy other items that give you +ups back-this way you never loose this “money” and keep using it over and over.
For example this week-you could buy 2 colgate toothpastes (the limit is 2-so this will work)-which will be .25 each -with $4 in +ups and 2 .75 coupons. You will get back 2 $2 +ups=$4 back and can buy something else. This is what I mean when I say “match up” what you use to what you get back. Some people don’t pay attention to that-but they end up spending more out of pocket-as they use more +ups then they get back & have to spend more money to get more. It all depends on what you want, & how much you are willing to pay for it.
Jess-keep asking questions if this doesn’t make sense-we all had to when we started also
Yes, you are correct. As of Sept 2, you can’t use the UPs the same day. So the price you see above is after taking into account the UP you receive and will use another day on (most likely) another product. You can use as many UPs as you like in the same transaction, as long as they don’t exceed the price after store and mfr cpns. They are good for 14 days from issuance–at least the paper ones are. I strongly suggest you opt out of the downloaded UPs and receive the paper.
OMG this is so helpful, thank you so much for taking the time to explain this to me! So these scenarios are assuming you already have the +UP rewards then, that makes more sense! I think that’s the part I wasn’t understanding. Also I just realized the +UP rewards are for any participating product (I thought you had to go back and get the same product you just bought to get the reward). So this is all starting to make more sense, really, thank you so much for your patience and explanation, it’s very intimidating at first and I really appreciate the help! I was about to give up on couponing but I’m going to try try again thank to you!! thank you again!
As you no doubt know by now, you don’t have to start your transaction with previously-acquired UPs, and you don’t have to buy the same product the next day with your UPs. (In fact, nearly all of the UP promotions have a limit on how many UPs you can earn for that deal, so be careful. They are linked to your RA card.)
The net price Melody lists “after coupon and reward” is NOT the amount you pay at the register; you pay the advertised price less any store/mfr cpns. If you pay $6 for shampoo, use a $1 cpn and get a $4 UP, you have paid $5 out of pocket and have $4 to spend as you wish the next time. But it will be shown as “$2 after coupon and reward.” So again, the prices listed above have NOTHING to do with previously-earned UPs, although you most certainly can use them toward these listed deals. That’s what we “experts” call “rolling” our rewards.
The thing that finally helped me understand the value of theUpR system was to treat them like cash. I shop at RiteAid enough that I know I will be able to use the UpR’s I get this week on new deals next week. (you can use them the very next day, I usually only go once or twice a week.) Since the system allows you to pay using as many UpR’s as you have (not including tax and a few other things) while earning more, it just becomes part of your routine to use those first to pay off your balance and then use cash for whatever remaining balance.
It takes awhile to get the hang of RiteAid’s policies, but we can help you out if you have anymore questions. Also, Melody put together a great beginner RiteAid store guide that I would encourage you to look at (there’s a link to it at the beginning of this post).
Definitely don’t give up Jess!! You make a few mistakes when you start (I had to have several things rerung at Rite Aid, when I started & I still make a few mistakes here & there)-but it will be very worth it-especially at Rite Aid-you can do amazing things there.
I just tried the libman deal- but a wet dry mop and a deluxe angle broom and my total was 22.98 and got 6.00 in UPS. I think I did something wrong and may just return them because I hadnt planned on spending that much….i thought it would come out to be less. Any ideas on what I did wrong?
It sounds like you just got 2 of the $3 weekly +UPs. For the monthly reward, it has to be the Tornado mop and the regular angle broom, not the deluxe. They weren’t marked at my store, but it was still printing. It does have to be those exact items that I listed in the scenario. The regular angle broom is $9.99, if that helps.
I once brought home a new broom, gave it to my wife, and said, “Here’s your new ride.” She broke it over my head.
(This is NOT a true story, I promise)
Mine are marked that way at the stores in my area & it is only those two types (now if they only had some in stock…)
Yesterday, my paper receipt included a ****YOUR COUPON****
$2.00 OFF CENTRUM FLAVOR BURST. Can this be combined with the Save $3.00 Centrum 200 or larger from Flu Shot coupon book? They both say MFG on them but a few weeks back we combined a Blood Glucose Flu Shot MFG with a RA Ad MFG and that worked just fine. This is my first MFG printed on my receipt so I was not sure if it can be combined with Flu Shot coupon. I can always just try it!
Probably not. If both RA coupons have barcodes that start with RC49, they can not be stacked together. If one has RC49 and one has RC48, then you can (although I haven’t seen an RC48 coupon in a long time).
They are both RC49. Thank you! Glad I asked before I searched for a product I do not even use!
That made me smile. I’m glad it’s not just me that does that, I generally spend far too much brain power on something that doesn’t even end up working or that we totally won’t use.
Okay, back to Flavor Burst (I should take a multi vitamin!) – I can stack the receipt coupon with a MFG from SS..right?
Correct. And I think there are some high value ones out there since it’s a new product. Let us know what you find!
Using the coupon dbase, I discovered that the $3/1 SS 9/30, the Oregonian did not get. We did get an ad about CATs for this product in that SS, but no coupon. So, the next highest out there is $1.75/1 and I clicked on the link and it printed just fine! So, yay, I’m off to get my chewables and hoping that $3.75 in credits makes them very close to free! Thank you Melody!
I think those are quite expensive Laura-like around $10+-let me know if it is different, as I got several of the paper coupons too.
Charolyn, did you find or get the $3/1 in Oregonian? Also, I’ve been meaning to ask you…many of your posts contain “&” what does this mean?
Not me that uses “& amp”-I don’t know what it means either.
The coupon I had was from the rite aid receipt-don’t know about an oregonian one.
Its probably some computer thing Charolyn..your latest post just came across as:

hmmmmmm
Thanks re the RA receipt vs Oregonian. I’ll report back the price of these chewables!
Oh weird ..ignore me again..once I pasted the email I received wiht & into the post reply it transformed the & to just &. So now I know what & means and it must be my computer! Sorry!
Laura,
Don’t worry, tt’s not just your computer. Are you reading the comments in your email? I think that’s where it happens. I have noticed the weird lettering before too, but I just click on the link in the email and read the comments on the actual website.
Yes Brenda that is what I was doing. No longer will I do that! Thank You! I thought maybe it was a secret language! I’m still in elementary school with couponing!
Computers can be wierd-I don’t pretend to understand them
Hold off on shopping for these this week! Next week they are $9.99 plus a $5 +UP Reward when you buy 2. Should make for a decent price with the coupons you have!
Thanks-that does sound good!!
I know zippo about smart phones and the like, but & is the symbol for an ampersand, so & must be some type of computer or phone insertion.
Oh Howard..thank you for the LOL. I was watching the debates and my email in box starts filling up with emails from you as you catch up on things and the one that made me giggle was yours that came across as “& blah blah &” which makes me giggle because all of these months I thought Charolyn had some secret couponing code words that were over my head!
These=my chewables…wow…thank you! I get so nervous holding rewards/coupons and worrying they will expire!
The small bottles of Sinfuls Nail polish are marked 75% off bringing them to .49 each. If you buy 2, you get $2 rewards back. Just bought 4 and got two rewards! They also issued me a rain check for the FREE Thermacare.
