Rite Aid: My shopping trip + a few additional deals (FREE Rite Aid Brand First Aid products)

by Melody on March 11, 2012

*There were several items marked with this additional +UP, check under the BOGO tags to find the information.  I did find that some of the items were marked with a $3 +UP or a $2 +UP, but from what I tested they are all supposed to be printing $1 +UPs.  Your store may be willing to compensate if the higher value +UPs are tagged or you can try to call customer service, but I would go in expecting the $1 +UPs to print.  Still lots of great deals!

I did have a reader comment that their store had signs up advertising a “Spend $25 on Dial, Renewal, Simple or Eucerin products, Get $10 +UP Reward”, but I couldn’t find anything at my store.  I did find a “Spend $25 on Dove products, Get $10 +UP Reward” advertised, but I would guess we’ll see a sale on these sometime this month so I would wait.  Has anyone else seen the other reward listed?

If you need some inspiration, here is what I purchased today:

Luvs Family Pack Diapers $14.39 after Wellness+ discount
(2) M&M’s Dark Chocolate $2.50
(2) Rite Aid Bandages (80 ct) $3.99
(2) Hot Wheels $.75
(2) Go Diego Go Easter Eggs $1
Used $1.50/2 M&M’s coupon from 2/12 RP insert

Total spent out of pocket: $25.38
Received: $7.50 in +UPs
Final price: $17.88 after coupon and all rewards

This was a great trip for me, as I picked up a few last Easter basket items for my boys and a BIG box of diapers.  Plus, not only do my boys get to eat some Bunny Bait here in a few weeks, but I’m going to Momma-fy it by using dark chocolate M&M’s.

How did you all do this week?  Did you stumble across any great deals that I missed?

Be sure to check out the rest of this week’s Rite Aid deals here.

Just an FYI – that $10 off two movie tickets that KY is promoting? Well, it’s through some online movie ticket website (can’t remember the name at the moment) that has exactly ONE participating movie theater in all of Portland…a movie theater out in Cornelius. Talk about a big disappointment! I bought several KY products back in February specifically because of this promotion. Good thing I held onto my receipts, as I have since marched each item back to the store for a refund. What a waste of time!

I did the sunglasses deal. I bought two and I only got one $5 plus ups. I was pretty disappointed I could have better used the RR later this week once they restocked. Oh well you win some you lose some.

Whenever I see the Naturemade Co-Q 10 on sale B1G1 and I have a good coupon or 2, I get some. It’s expensive & my husband takes it every day. I got:
2- 100 mg. 40 ct. Co-Q 10
1- Johnson’s Bedtime bath
1- Johnson’s Vapor Bath
1- L’Oreal Youth Code Face Wash
6- Misc. Easter Basket Candies
With all my coupons & 1-$5 +up I paid $21.38 out of pocket (less than 1 bottle of Co-Q 10 cost, reg. price) and have $3 +ups for next week, so my final price was $18.38 for over $75 of merchandise! Yay!

I did the kids sunglasses, and they also printed an extra $5 up (for a total of $10 up)!

Making the total 1.98 for both pair, perfect Easter basket fillers for all the sun I expect us to get soon :)

I was really excited to get to use my $20 winter reward. I typically try not to use my UpRewards unless it is on another UpRewards item, that way I can keep rolling them. However I figured it is better to use it than lose it and most of the $100 that I spent to earn that $20, was products I got rewards on anyway. So I bought 4 bottle of tide detergent and used 4-$1.00 coupons from two weeks ago and ended up getting it all for FREE. I was really excited because 3 of the 4 bottles also had a sample of the Tide Pods :)

I did the Irish Spring deal this way:
(2) 8 pack bars = $6.69 each ($5.35 after 20%)
(1) single bars = $1.00 each ($0.80 after 20%)
Use (2) $0.50/multipac from 3.11 SS
subtotal $11.30, got back $5 Up, net cost $6.30 for 18 bars or 35 cents a bar.

I also did the kids sunglasses deal and got a surprise second $5 Up. It triggered the $5 kids sunglasses UP & a $5 reading glasses Up.
So $7.99 + $3.99 = $11.98, got back $10, so net cost $1.98 or 99 cents each!!
