Did the Columbian get the Crest coupon?

Can’t locate the V8 Fusion coupon; looked at 1-1, 1-8 and 1-15 circulars. Must have misplaced it, if it really was there in the first place. As I slap my forehead, I mutter, “I could have had a V8!”

I am having trouble finding it too

I read another series of comments and evidently it is a “regional” issue.

so it says that the tide is cheaper at albertsons but the in ad coupon, says it cant be combined with any other offer. So does that mean we cant use the coupons for tide which would make them more expensive?

Because it is a store coupon, I would say that you can use the mfr cpn with it but not a doubler.

This regional coupon seems to happen more often. You would think they would include this detail and the zip code. Otherwise they are jepordizing the reliability and reputation of this website. Personally it is a waste of my time and frustrating when it gives inaccurate information and I use this website less often because of it.

I agree. I’ve been using this site for 3 weeks and have had mixed results. Overall, I like it because it alerts me to coupons and deals that I have missed. But I am spending a lot of time hunting down coupons that are no longer available, have expired, or never existed. I don’t subscribe to any similar blogs (yet); I picked this one because it was mentioned in the Oregonian and because it is regionally-oriented.

Each newspaper does have different coupons. I get The Columbian and The Oregonian and they definitely are not the same coupons.
People come to this site from all over the region. As I look through the posts, I know there are some I will not be able to take advantage of. That is true of EVERY saving site you go to.
I think every “deal” should be posted even if not everybody can participate. That will ALWAYS be true! You win some….you lose some. No big deal. The next great deal is right around the corner!!! :)
They do a FANTASTIC job here! Easy to read, constant updates,
FREE! and I’m sure time consuming.
Thanks for all you do. I don’t think you need to worry about your reliability or reputation. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!! :)

I thoroughly agree Susan-I am VERY grateful for the TONS of time this website spends guiding us to the best deals-saves me a lot of time & I realize some deals will work for me & some won’t-you never know until you try-there are sooooo… many variables. Really you never know for sure until you get to the store. Also I know and happily accept that it is my responsibility to check it out for myself.

From experience I know even in the Oregonian the coupons vary from the Hillsboro one to the Aloha one (towns next to each other!). I don’t understand why the inserts would do that-but it is in no way FLNW’s responsibility to try and sort it out-nor is it even possible! One needs to remember too-that just because it doesn’t work for you, it does for another reader.
I have been couponing for 3-4 years now and have checked out many websites-but primarily I use this one (everyday pretty much!) because it fits the best for my area and is fun to read!!

I am from Northern California and I still use this site. She catches some of the deals that my local bloggers miss. I am very grateful for the time that is put into this FREE resource that allows me to access this wealth of money saving information easily. It is MY JOB to take the information and do what I can with it. Never will I complain or threaten about something that is provided to me for free, including mishaps at the grocery store when I have to pay more for something that I planned to get cheaper.
Take the good, what you can get as a couponer and don’t stress the small stuff!

Lisa what local blogs do you know of that focus mainly on Northern California?

Donna & Howard:

We totally understand your frustration. Unfortunately, it’s not practical for us to have each PNW newspaper in front of us and search out which coupons are included for each deal. That would take us hours upon hours. Each FLNW contributor is first a homemaker, and second a deal finder. This is not our full-time job.

I trust you understand our limitations (which you will find on each and every deal blog out there). If we know there is a regional difference, we make every attempt to note it.

Overall, this site is fantastic. I can only begin to imagine the amount of time and research that goes into it. I kind of assumed that all areas of the NW would get the same coupons weekly, but obviously that is not true. Now that I think of it, years ago a co-worker used to give me his leftover coupon sections on Monday, and once in a while some of the values differed from mine, even though we both live in Portland.
When I visit Mom in Florida, I bring back her coupon sections to compare to mine, and they are wildly different–not to mention most of hers being half English/half Spanish!

Thanks to the writers of this site. It SADDENS me to see people complain on a free and WONDERFUL site. To those of you out there complaining… shame on you. This site is such a fantastic resource. Perhaps there is a better place for you!

I’m new to this but I would like to thank you Angela for the great effort and help that I have been able to use to start figuring out how to coupon I appreciate it so much.

My neighbor, who lives 3 doors down from me, gives me her paper (The Oregonian) after she’s done with it every Sunday. Sometimes our coupons differ! I’ve seen this mostly in the Parade, but once or twice in the coupon inserts. At the time we both had home delivery.
