Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page.
We are proud to be apart of The Grocery Gathering over at BeCentsAble, posting for Safeway in Oregon & SW Washington.

I found a tearpad for the Sunchips with the Sunchips on display at the front of my safeway store. The coupon on them was 55 cents off I think and I doubled it.
the flour is 1.50 (2/3.00) so it makes it .25. It’s only the regular and unbleached.
the Pillsbury Jr. Grands come out to .09 cents a package.
fiber one yogurt is 2/5.00. Buy one, use the $1.00 off coupon and the shortcuts and cellfire and it makes it free with .50 overage.
Yes, the flour is on sale for $1.50 BUT the coupon says DO NOT DOUBLE on it. So… YMMV.
I tried to get a raincheck for the string cheese but the cashier said they got a memo that it was a mistake and not part of the mix and match deal. Anyone else run into this?
I also just scored a sweet deal and got paid $1 to buy 2 gallons of milk, 8 small crescants rolls, 1 flour, and 4 dan-active 4-pack drinks. The dan active was on clearance and I had coupons for everything but the milk. I also had several e coupons. I loaded the flour coupon on my safeway card after I had printed it out so it got applied twice!!! I love couponing!
I had no problem with the string cheese. I was able to get colby jack and string cheese as part of the deal.
I also scored a great deal with e coupons, coupons, doubles and $10 cat from last week. I got for $3.50. 2 gallons of milk, a loaf of bread, 12 yoplait yogurts, a yogurt parfait, 2 string cheeses, 2 betty crocker muffin mixes, 2 warm delights and 4 jr grand biscuits,
Did everyone miss the $10 off $50 at Safeway? It was in both the Oregonian AND the Columbian Tuesday 3/02/10. Add that to all these deals for an even sweeter deal!
It’s worth noting that the $10 catalina you get back when you buy $25 in frozen foods is a $10 off your next FROZEN FOOD purchase. Kind of a bummer for me, since I don’t like being limited by my catalinas! Still a good deal, but be aware.
Actually I used mine from Monday on Charmin & Bounty deal on Tuesday and it worked. I think the cashier pushed it. I remember the same last year. The cashiers didn’t mind and used it on anything. Of course things vary from one cashier to another.
I noticed that the frozen catalina is labeled store coupon not mfr coupon. If I brought my total to $50, do you think I can use both the $10/$50 and the $10 catalina and pay only $30. I don’t think it’s gonna work!
Be sure to use the $10 off $50 first, and both should work.
The Cheerios coupon doesn’t appear to be available anymore . . .
we zip are people using to get the flour cpn? I can’t seem to find it….thanks
opps that was supposed to be what zip are people using for the flour cpn
Does your Safeway take more than one Safeway double coupon? For the first time ever I was able to get a hold of more than one, and the checker wouldn’t take it; she said I wasn’t allowed to use more than one.
Mine safeway won’t take more then one in a transaction, but I have always just done two orders back to back with no problems.
Yes, I believe the fine print says that-one coupon per transaction. But I have often used more than one, during the week.
Did anyone else not get the Sargento coupon in the 1/31 SS? I would love to score some of this cheese, but no coupons to be found
I couldn’t find the Sargento coupon in my 1/31 SS… I have two and it wasn’t in either one?!?!
Attention ALMOND MILK DRINKERS: Almond Breeze (1/2 gallon refrigerated) is on sale for $2.59 at Safeway–I found several containers with $1.00 off coupons stuck to the containers. Buy only one container and then get a catalina for a FREE 1/2 gallon Silk Pure Almond milk. Silk is just introducing their brand of almond milk onto the market, so you get a free Silk almond milk coupon every time you buy a Almond Breeze. If you can find the $1 coupons, it makes for very cheap milk! The expiration dates are mid to late April so they last a long time.
