Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

That’s funny, the Oregonian has it. It’s in the front cover of the Smart Source at the top. The picture is slightly different from above.

I got the catalina at Safeway…I wasn’t expecting it and I was so excited that I forgot my change in the self-checkout lane (over $90) I will have to do alot of couponing to cover that loss…some dishonest person is very happy right now.
Did you call the store to try to grt your loss? That stinks, I have done that in the past for only a $5 cat lost and felt so frusterated. Good luck.
Yes. They checked the surveillance video but didn’t actually see someone put the money in their pocket…so no luck. Thanks for trying to make me feel better!
I did this deal at 181st and Powell Safeway, worked great. Plus got the $2 CAT no problem. Moneymaker
I got 2 catalina’s yesterday! My store was really stocked too! I wish I had more coupons so I could get more!
I ran in today and grabbed 4 boxes so I could use all 4 doubles (I only had 5 coupons, so not enough to do it twice!) FREE! plus they gave me the 20 cents overage that I used toward my milk
I also got the $2 CAT. Yipee! Paid to buy pasta?!?!?!?! How awesome is that!
