I can’t find a coupon on their site. I signed up for their club and everything. where is it?
You need to input the reward code from participating products. There are not coupons available to everyone.
I had used this coupon earlier this month when they had the salsa 2 for $4 but it beeped and the cashier refused the take it. My Safeway strictly follows the rule where they dont accept IP’s for over 50% of the product value.

I was just on the Safeway site, looking at the coupon policy which does say:
“We will not accept Printable Coupons for more than 50% of a product’s value. For example, a $2 off coupon will be acceptable for a product that sells for $5 or more, but a $2 off Printable Coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 will not be accepted. If there are exceptions, we are usually provided an advance notice by the applicable manufacturer upon which we will pass the appropriate savings, if any, onto you.”
But I also looked at info for the retailer-which indicates it is based on the regular price. The last line about exceptions leaves a lot open also.
Kelleigh, did the Dallas Safeway honor this offer? They denied it when I tried a similar La Victoria freebie deal earlier this year, but I’ll try again if it worked for you. Thanks in advance for your help!
I did it again this morning! The sweet cashier got confused and called the manager over who just had her price adjust the coupon. Of course, they didn’t double it, either.
