I wanted black pepper, but it wasn’t on sale at my store either. I got 3 cinnamon sugar for $0.53 and then 3 crushed red pepper for $0.23. I was pretty happy with it!

The peper was not marked at my store either. bummer. I got 3 red crushed pepers for $.25. I could have used a safeway doubler, but it was early and I forgot. oh well….25 cents for 3 peppers. whoo hoo. going back tomorrow for round 2. Remember…if you are using the coupon it expires 11/4. Thanks for the post.

Just an FYI, I tried to buy both the parsley and the black pepper per the examples used above. The $2.00 off Safeway coupon did not work on either spice. I went to 2 different Safeways. The checkers at both stores went ahead and put them through manually.

I was disappointed because the pepper did not ring up ‘buy 2 get 1 free’, and when the gal at customer service checked, she said that it was NOT part of the sale. The parsley did work for me, and so they rang up .0, no overage though.

Where did you get the Thanksgiving ad? Is it in stores?

It’s a pullout section in this week’s Safeway newspaper ad. There might be some at the store too. Prices/cpns are good till 11-22. McCormick cpn is on front page, upper left.

Does anyone know if the Mccormick Recipe Inspirations Spice Packs will work with the $2 Safeway coupon? They’re on sale for .99 thru 11/6.
