Target Deals for September 9-15

by Kate from Frugal Living NW on September 10, 2012

Here are the best of this week’s Target deals. Target prices vary by store and region. Some deals are unadvertised and may or may not be found in your store.

There are several ways to maximize your savings at Target.

  • Combine a Target store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon. You can find Target coupons here.
  • You can sign up for Target Mobile coupons which are delivered to your smart phone. These coupons are Target store coupons, so you can stack a manufacturer’s coupon with them. To use your mobile coupons, you pull them up on your phone at checkout and have the cashier scan the bar code. To start receiving the coupons simply text OFFERS to 827438.
  • Sign up for the TargetRED Debit Card to save 5% off every purchase.
  • Bring your own shopping bag! Target will give you $.05 off for each bag you use.
  • Don’t forget to take Target’s Coupon Policy with you in case you run into any problems.

I went to Target about once every 5 years, even though the nearest one is just over 2 miles away. Since I began reading this site, I now visit a Target 2-3 times a week, always in conjunction with other errands so I don’t have to make a special trip. I rarely spend over $1 there, unless it’s a deal that includes a Target gift card in return. Today at Wash Sq/Tigard store I got Hershey’s Simple Pleasures (free after mfr and store cpns); 24-count ibuprofen (7 cents after store cpn); and 2-pack of scrub sponges (9 cents after store cpn). 16 cents spent! It came on the way home from our $3.99 coupon special at John’s Incredible Pizza all-you-can eat buffet.

Dish soap deals come around on average every 6 months. I would stock up with as you will need to get you to the next sale.

OMG – I LOVE the Downy Unstoppables. But I didn’t see them in the weekly ad. Are they an unadvertised sale for $4? Regional?

Do the target website coupons vary be location? I can’t seem to locate the Juicy Juice $1/2 target coupon.

It might be gone. This was a deal that carried over from last week.

Don’t forget Target will price match. For instance the Wheat Thins are on sale for less at Fred Meyer. If you take the add to customer service, they should match the price. Some stores have said they won’t price match if it’s with the Rite Aid wellness card, etc.
