Walgreens must be listening! They have just released an official coupon policy! Here are the highlights:
:: When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.
You can stack a manufacturer’s and a Walgreens store coupon. Bust out your IVCs without fear!
:: The coupon amount must be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
They will adjust the value of a manufacturer’s coupon down. The big news is that they shouldn’t deny it anymore.
:: When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.
Shut the back door. Did you read that? They will accept a coupon on the free item. This totally rocks.
As with all new coupon policies, I strongly suggest you print this policy and keep it with you at all times.

I have always thought that Walgreen’s was one of the best places to get some smoking deals using coupons and they prove themselves again! kudos to Walgreens!
I love this line, “Shut the back door.” LOL Anyhow, this is awesome! Thanks so much for posting it!
This is AWESOME!!!!
The policy says…”The number of manufacturer coupons, including RR manufacturer coupons, must not exceed the number of items in the transaction.” Does this contradict stacking coupons?
I ran into the problem of having more coupons than items when I went to use my RR, I couln’t use them. BUT you CAN have two coupons for one item if one of those coupons is a store coupon. Store coupons are treated differently than manufacture coupons. This is my understanding and what happened with my past transaction. I could use more coupons than items because the extras were the store coupons, but I couldn’t use my RR because they are treated the same as manufacture coupons. OH and if you buy a buy one get one half off you can use a BOGO coupon with it and you end up paying half price for one item and getting two, pretty cool. I didn’t know I just threw it in there to see if it would work and it did!
Just a quick question: are the coupons found in Infant care booklet in WG considered manufacturer’s coupons? My WG store didn’t take it together with the coupons from the Sunday paper saying that they both are the manufacturer’s coupons….
How can it be a manufacture coupon when the WG logo is on the the coupon? I don’t have the infant care on,I have the savings book. If their logo is on the coupon, I say it’s not a manufacture coupon. But I would like to hear from someone who knows about this. I just started learning about coupons, but all the manufacture coupons I’ve come across have two scanner bars on them and the Walgreens have only one.
