Stride Rite is having a fantastic sale: Buy one pair of shandals, sandals or flip flops and get one pair for 50% off now through Tuesday, May 31. This deal is available online (use the code SUNBOGO) and in retail locations.
The folks at Stride Rite offered to send me a pair of sandals for one of my kids to try out, and as we love Stride Rite shoes, I happily accepted their offer! My children all have wide feet. Very wide feet. And Stride Rite is the only store that consistently has wide sizes available for all of them. They also have the best selection of sandals that cover the toe, which is very helpful for kids running around and riding bikes and scooters. Since I only purchase one pair of shoes for my kids each season, I don’t mind spending $30-$50 on a pair.
Stride Rite sent my daughter a pair of Sperry Top-Sider sandals.
I have always been leery of anything that isn’t plastered with “Stride Rite” because I am such a brand snob at this point. But both Audrey and I are really pleased with them. They are cute in the sporty way, are wide enough for her feet and will work perfectly for summertime activities that require a more substantial shoe than flip flops.
The only problem that I ever have with Stride Rite is they tend to run out of sizes, especially wide sizes, as the spring starts winding down. If you are looking for a quality, well-built shoe for your kids this summer, I suggest you bounce on over to a Stride Rite store quickly!
Stride Rite provided me a pair of shoes to facilitate this review. All opinions are mine and truthful.
