Here’s the results of my Saturday shopping plan. You can see my deal scenarios here. I was only able to hit Safeway & Walgreens and fit in a trip to Everyday Deals. Albertsons will have to wait until another day.
Safeway: 10 boxes of cereal for $2.36.
The great news is that there are tons of participating cereal with “Buy 5, Save $5” promotion, including the flavored Frosted Mini-Wheats. I’ve been saving a bunch of $1/1 IP coupons (no longer available), waiting for these bad boys to go on sale. I split my trip into 2 transactions so I could use 2 sets of Safeway double coupons.
Walgreens: All this stuff for $3.54.
Total after coupons: $13.54, used (2) $5 RR
I received a $5 RR and will get a $18.68 rebate on my Walgreens gift card.
Everyday Deals (a discount store in Portland, OR):
And just for fun, here’s my baby sitting on the table, eating Corn Pops.
