Thriftway: Milk just $1.50 a gallon this weekend

Thriftway is having a smoking hot deal on milk this weekend:

Thriftway or Western Family Milk (gallon) is on sale $1.50 with the weekly ad coupon (limit 2; Friday-Sunday)

This is the lowest priced milk I have seen since I moved to Portland over a decade ago. There are a couple of other sweet deals as well:

Coca-Cola (2 liters) are also on sale $.69 with a weekly ad coupon (limit 3; Friday-Sunday)

Bar-S Jumbo Franks on sale $.99 with weekly ad coupon
Buy 2
Use $1/2 coupon
Use Thriftway double (-$.50)
$.24 each after coupons & double when you buy 2

Find your local Thriftway here. This deal will not work at Thriftways in the Puget Sound area. Apparently the Oregon & Washington stores are not the same.

Thanks, Columbia Gorge Coupon Mommy and Vanessa!

The milk coupon mentioned above at Thriftway was in their add for LO also. Nice to see Thriftway in your blog. Some weeks they have some really good specials, some prices are only for 3 or 4 days usually.

If you are in the Portland metro I noticed that they are in the ads for the Portland, and Hilsboro locations, not in the Beaverton and Aloha locations! I am not sure about the Tigard and Lake Oswego stores…hope this helps!

In the Cedar Mills area, the Bales Thriftway ad only has the Bar S Jumbo Franks coupon for $.99. No milk and Coke is ($3/2) on the 3 day sale.

I think the 3 day sale of $3/2 price for Coke is a misprint. Further in the ad, the weekly price is $5/4. It’s probably supposed to be $2/2 on the 3 day sale. Not a great deal, but better than $1.50 or more.

I don’t see the coupon in my Thriftway flyer 🙁 I wonder if they differ because they are independently owned?

when i hear “1.50 a gallon” all i see is cows standing knee deep in their own manure being milked 20 hours a day on a factory farm

I don’t know where Thriftway brand milk comes from but I am a Tillamook native and their cows graze on lush green pastures and most enjoy state of the art milking parlors. 🙂 Go Tillamook milk, ice cream & cheese!

Actually they only have cows in Tillamook to make people think that is where they get all their dairy from. One of their disgusting factory farms where cows stand in their manure is a few miles away from the one where they give tours to show people how nice their farms are. Its pretty screwed up.

Uh, actually they do get their milk from Tillamook cows. Not saying they don’t get it elsewhere. I can only speak for family and friends owning dairy farms in Tillamook. Disappointing they would subject cows to cruelty elsewhere…I’m with you there.
