it sucks that your paper costs so much there. i'm in the bay area and get the san jose mercury news and the regular price is $1 and my sunday only subscription is even cheaper
Yay for coupons! It's been a pretty back couple of weeks and I'm ready for some serious clipping!
I have been trying to load P&G coupons onto my safeway card and the site tells me they are not available. Is this because of the Holiday or has something changed??? Dawn
I purchased the Statesman at the Dollar Tree a recently for 1.00 on Sunday. Had RP and SS insert in it. They were not the same exact inserts as the Oregonian, but did have the regional coupons that are sometimes referred to that I can never find in my Oregonian. Hope that helps!

Oh and also in the paper are Albertson's doubles!!!!! I was so excited when I picked up my early edition of the Oregonian. Going back for more tomorrow. I will be sure to be on the lookout for extra papers.
The Dollar Tree was in Newberg/McMinnville area where I purchased mine.

How many Sunday papers should I be picking up?
Autumn: Just my suggestions:
Hard-core — 6-10 inserts
Moderate — 4-6 inserts
Casual — 3-4 inserts
Nominal — 1-2 inserts
You can always buy more inserts from a coupon clipping service or ebay if you buy too little this week.

I bought 4 Oregonians today, grabbed the Statesman from work, and my boyfriend brought me another 2 Oregonians (tee hee, I didn't tell him I'd already bought 4 beforehand!). It took me 3 hours to clip all the inserts, and I haven't even sorted them yet. What a haul today!
