One goal for this blog is to create and foster community among readers. The great thing about FLNW is that most of you live in the Pacific Northwest, which makes the deals we all discover relevant to almost everyone else. But we need a forum to make this connection. I love that we can share comments under each post, but oftentimes you have found a deal at WinCo or Walmart and don’t really have a place to post it. Or you have a question that doesn’t fit under a recent post. Up until now, there hasn’t been a place to share your ideas or questions.
While attending the BlissDom blogging conference, I found a way to foster our community and give you, the reader, a way to interact more naturally with other readers. If you look to the right of your screen you will see a green box with my picture on the top (this will be changed once Rebecca & I get around to taking one together). This is our new Blog Frog community. This is a place where you can share deals, ideas and ask questions of other readers.
This forum will really be what all of you make it. All you have to do is create an account and start sharing! I’d love for all of you to respond to the very first post — a chance for all of you to introduce yourselves! Head over so I don’t feel so lonely (my inner junior high self is feeling a bit awkward…).
