Walgreens: Upcoming Excedrin Menstrual moneymaker

by Angela on February 18, 2010

Get ready for this moneymaker at Walgreens starting Sunday, February 21:

Excedrin Express Gels on sale $2.50; Buy 1 Menstrual Complete Express Gels, Get $2 Register Rewards
Buy Menstrual Complete Express Gels
Use
$2/1 coupon
Pay $.50, Get $2 RR
FREE with $1.50 overage after coupon & RR

This is still a great deal even if you don’t want the menstrual variety — just $.50 after Register Rewards.

I suggest you print the coupons now in case they get pulled before Sunday.

Thanks, For the Mommas!

Nice! thanks for the heads up. I have some RR’s I have been holding onto and these would make for a great MM deal.

so the RR only works with the Menstrual ones?

Yes, on the menstrual ones. Though they are probably the same formula as everything else. Just a marketing ploy?

The coupon says *refers to Extra Strength and Migraine. I’m not sure this will work on the Menstrual ones. Any other roller ideas out there though…I’ve got a bunch of RRs that are going to expire on Sunday.

I think it’s just talking about the word COMPLETE since the * is by that word. Meaning the Migraine and Extra Strength are complete headache relief (probably to do with their ingredients) That’s how I understand the wording anyway…. would anyone else agree/disagree?

I agree with you Linda. The coupon states on “any ONE Excedrin 20ct+”. And the “refers to Extra Strength and Migraine” is referring to the “complete”.

My coupon says Any one (1) Excedrin 20ct or Larger. It does not say on Extra Strength or Migraine only. Just because the photo is of Extra Strength and Migraine. A lot of coupons only show a photo of one product. It is the wording that matters.

Does anyone know if this is a limit 1 or 2 item? I printed two coupons but only want to use them if I can get $4 in RR! Thanks!

You can get two, though you will have to do two separate transactions. If you buy 2 in one transaction, only one RR will print.
