Where to Buy Marcel Small Steps Paper Products

by Angela on January 29, 2010

Here’s a great question from our reader, Jamie:

The Marcal Small Steps Coupon for free tp/paper roll/facial tissue expires on Sunday. Does anyone have any idea who carries this brand? I’ve checked a couple stores in Vancouver as I’ve been there for other deals but have not found it. (Albies, Walgreens)

Has anyone found Marcel products? Leave a comment!

Fred Meyers. But not any of the small ones to make it cheap or free. I'm interested in knowing where else they are sold.

I've purchased the large pack (I think it was 12 rolls) of toilet paper at Fred Meyer, but I don't know if they carry the other products.

I went to the Marcel site last month and found out very few stores in this area carry Marcel. Fred Meyer on SE 164th in Vancouver has multi packs of paper towels.

I have found some Marcal products at Walgreens. No single rolls of anything however.

Just last night, I noticed for the first time that Walgreens carries this brand (I was at the 182nd & Powell location in Gresham). Walgreens is making some major in-store changes and I think they JUST started carrying these paper products.

I saw this product at Staples…plus they have a 15% off purchase coupon right now. Don't know how their prices compare.

I was told to fill out a request at Albertsons to carry a certain product and they will start ordering it. I have never done it. Has anyone else?

Hmm. I got so disgusted about NOBODY selling these products/not the free ones that I threw all my free coupons out.

I wouldn't trust Marcel's website. I recently searched & couldn't find any retailers within 50 miles of me that carried it…at least, according to the site. Then my friend told me they carry it at our local Freddy's, so go figure. :)

I filled out a request at Albies for a certain product once and they never go back to me….

I saw them advertised on the Staples web site too. I am going to try the store tomorrow to see if they carry it there. On their website you can order boxes of the single rolls…

Where was the coupon located?

Here is the product finder:

http://www.marcalpaper.com/findstore.html

But as someone else pointed out these can be wrong or not updated often. I have used these product finders at other product sites and it told me no stores near me carry something only to find it in a store. And also the other way around….it said a certain store carried something but I could never find it at that store.

I've seen these products in multi-packs at several stores (already mentioned by other readers), but no single packs/rolls anywhere. Pretty safe coupon to issue if no one can redeem it! There is ALWAYS one of these coupons out there, but alas, I can never use them. I sometimes wonder if the stores don't buy the product if they know of a perpetual coupon like this one!

In case anyone is military, they do carry these at the Commissary and I have been getting free boxes of kleenex every month. Hope that helps someone!

I've also seen it at all the Fred Meyers and Albertsons, but never in a small enough quantity that it is even worth it to use the coupon.

I purchased the TP at FM and no one in my family had any problems with it. We normally use Angel Soft or Cottenelle or Kirkland. It is not as soft as those at all, but it was acceptable and no one even mentioned it.

I've not seen singles, but the product is also available at Office Depot. I noticed it in their ad once and was so excited. No small qty's though…
