Thanks to Monica for emailing me this great deal at WinCo. The Tuna Helpers have peelie coupons on them: “Purchase Tuna Helper, save $1 on any brand of tuna.” This is how Monica worked it:
Buy 10 boxes of Tuna Helper ($.98 each) = $9.80
Buy 15 cans of Bumble Bee Tuna ( $.68 each) = $10.20
Use (3) $.75/3 Helper coupons from 3/7 SS insert (-$2.25)
Use (10) $1 off peelie coupons (-$10)
$7.76 after coupons for 10 boxes of Tuna Helper and 15 cans of tuna
The peelies were found at the NE 122nd & Glisan store in Portland.

I did this same deal a couple of weeks ago. After scanning my .75/3 coupons, the tuna coupons didn’t want to scan, but after the cashier looked at them and saw the box coupons were off the tuna and mine were off the hamburger helper, she pushed them through for me. I didn’t really need all that Tuna helper, but we go through so much tuna, I figured it couldn’t hurt to have some on hand! Great deal!
they were also on the Tuna Helpers at the Hillsboro Winco. They had albacore tuna for 1.18 so I only paid 18 cents for white albacore tuna!
Did you mean 122nd and San Rafael?
the deal didn’t work out for me! The tuna is .48 each – and the cashier was like – this is good for one tuna – not multiple cans up to 1.00. So, not a great deal, but not an awful deal!
