New at this….so didn’t keep some of the SS coupon or RP coupon books that come in Sunday newspaper….so, is there anywhere I can get those back copies for use now?
Not really.
Staples has tried to limit it to 1 transaction per person. I just take the kids and give them cash.
The staples paper.. Is that limit 5 for each 5.00 transaction?
Yes, you would have to do separate checkouts of at least $5 each to get more than one set of 5. The store might frown on this, but I guess it’s legal. After all, their idea is to get you into the store and take a loss on the paper once, NOT to have you check out multiple times and get paper for a penny each time. Similarly, there’s a limit of 2 on most of the other sale items, but there’s nothing to stop you from buying two at a time, over and over. (I think.) They can limit the number of rebates you submit, but people have their ways of getting around that, too.
Just a note. Office Max does not have the coupons in their in-store ads, make sure you take your coupons with you! I now have to make a return trip later this week.
Some Staples stores, including the Tigard store, have gotten really anal about coupons. My cashier, unfortunately, was a trainee, and did not want to accept the $1 Bic cpns. I’d purchased two Wite-Outs at 50 cts each and 1 dry-erase markers at $1. She tried to tell me that they are already discounted by the store. I explained that they are mfr cpns for which the store should be reimbursed. She called the asst mgr and I had to explain the whole process to him. He finally took off the $2 but they would not let me use the 15% BTS pass in conjunction. Ridiculous.
Also had 2 Bic gel pens @ 25 cts each, so I met the requirement of buying at least 4 items and using two $1/2 cpns.
Thanks for posting these deals. I got 120 folders for a group I’m part of for $1.20!! I also got some of the other great deals and am going to donate the product to Backpack Buddies since I don’t have kids. One way I can actually afford to help others on my income!
Big Lots doesn’t take coupons.
