Wow! There are a slew of Coupon Express classes coming up in the next two weeks. This is your chance to learn how to coupon like a pro. Learn to get the vast majority of your groceries and household items for free or nearly free using specific couponing strategies in this 1.5 hour class.
I am now asking participants to register via the Coupon Classes page to help the hosts and me plan for supplies and space. I am also asking that each participant bring $1 cash to pay for the class packet and other handouts I provide. This will make the coordinating so much easier for me and alleviate last minute work for the hosts. Exception: Handouts are free at library classes.
Friday (4/9) — 7 pm, Imago Dei Community in NE Portland
Saturday (4/10) — 10 am, Carlton Community Church in Carlton (north of McMinnville, west of Newberg)
Wednesday (4/14) — 6:30 pm, Gregory Heights Library in NE Portland
Saturday (4/17) — 1 pm, Estacada Public Library in Estacada
All classes are FREE with a donation of 5 non-perishable food or household items to the host’s charity of choice.
In an effort to maintain an atmosphere free from distractions, I ask that no children be present. Teens interested in learning the fine art of couponing are welcome to join us.
Lastly, a note about babies at my classes. I know how difficult it is for mamas to coordinate nursing schedules with leaving the house for a couple of hours. I’m living this right now. I also know how unhappy babies can get in the evening. I am happy to have small babies join their mothers, but honestly, when babies start to cry it’s super hard for me to concentrate while speaking and for others to listen. If you bring your baby, please sit in the back of the room or near a door so you can make a quick exit if he/she starts fussing.
