I just went to safeway and tried to do the DiGiorno and California Pizza Kitchen deal at Safeway. Although I didn’t have the 5/15 frozen coupon from Safeways booklet it was still a good deal. I however did not receive any catalina’s. I purchased 3 in my first transaction and then 4 in my next hoping that maybe you had to spend 15 before coupons. Any idea as to why it did not print. I live near Tacoma if that helps at all. Thank you!

It didn’t print for me either. Contact Catalina marketing. The info is in the ultimate coupon guide under grocery store catalinas.

The Cottonelle was a good deal, even without the RR (because I’m in Portland). 12 pack for $3.50.

My trouble came with the M&Ms deal listed above. I bought them at 2 for $4, used the Walgreens booklet and then the printable M&M coupons. The register did not like it. The manager had to be called over, and he had to key it in by hand. I got the deal, but it’s becoming routine for the manager to be called over every time I shop there. I don’t like it, and they never say why my stuff is not ringing up correctly. Is it because I go on Sunday? If I wait, they’re always out of the stuff on sale…

I ran into this the other day and the checker remembered that they need to do the mfr. coupon first and then the walgreens coupon from their monthly booklet. If they do it that way you should not have any problems and not have to wait for the manager 🙂 Good luck!

Did you get the Oregonian? I bought my Oregonians yesterday in Battle Ground and the Nivea coupons were in the Redplum. I know if I buy our local paper, the Columbian, I never get the good coupons!

Hm… I bought the Oregonian but never looked in the Redplum, since it was supposed to be in the Smart Source. Just looked and they were in the Redplum. Already did my shopping trip though and I don’t have a car, which makes it pretty difficult to get to Walgreens, even with public transit. 🙁

At my Walgreens in Salem they won’t let me use a Walgreens coupon with a manufactor’s coupon. Has this happened to anyone? Or is there a way around this? I’ve went to both Walgreen’s in Salem. Thanks.

that happened to me too last week for the first time, I never had problems before. I told them that they advertise it in their ad sometimes that you can use both, but manager wouldn’t budge. I hope there will be another ad where they advertise that you can use both and then I will keep it with me, in case I run in to the same problem again.

heidi, I go to walgreens on commercial and the walgreens on liberty, and both of them let me use a manufacturer’s coupon with a walgreens coupons. I would try going to those 2 locations. 😉

Tiffany – I hope you see this…I went to your website and I couldn’t figure out how you calculated the Cover Girl deal at RA that you posted. I get around $48.98 for those items before mq’s and $16.98 after mq’s. After the $10 UP, it would net a cost of $6.98.

Maybe there was something I was missing, but that’s what I got after calculating B1G1 1/2 off.

I was a little off on my final cost by $0.80, but the prices I listed next to each item are for 2 items, taking into consideration the sale of bogo 50%. I updated it now, but it still looks to be a $4.95 money maker! And thank you for pointing that out to me!

When I went up to the register with my Cepacol, the cashier was nice enough to let me know that if I was buying it for the RR, it wasn’t printing. She said their corporate office knew of the problem. I live in Redmond OR and it showed in the ad that is was a free deal with the RR. I will try later in the week.

I confirmed that what I had heard from my source is true – we are not getting the Cepacol RR here in Portland. Hopefully people will see my comment so that they don’t get unpleasantly surprised at the register.

Register Reward. It’s the Walgreen version of catalina coupon. You use it for the next transaction just as cash. But beware, it doesn’t roll (if you use RR to purchase same item you will not get another RR.)
