Walgreens Deals Updates

I finally feel good enough to sit in front of a computer! I just found some additional deals at Walgreens this week. I swiped these from Deal Seeking Mom and other and made sure they will work with our coupons in the NW. You can see the rest of this week’s deals here.

Starbucks Chocolates on sale $4
Buy 2
Use $6/2 Walgreens IVC coupon from March EasySaver Rebate Catalog (p. 2)
$1 each after coupon when you buy 2
**There are reports of $1/1 coupons inside the packaging, so you could go for a second round and get the chocolate for FREE!

Dove Bar Soaps on sale $.99 with weekly ad coupon; Buy 8, Get $10 Register Rewards
The weekly ad coupon states a limit of 3, but in my experience cashiers will ignore the limit & the register adjusts the price regardless of limits. Even if you have to pay full price for 5 bars, it’s still a good deal.
FREE with $2.08 overage after coupon & Register Rewards!

Excedrin Menstrual Complete Express Gels (20 ct) on sale $5.99
Use $2/1 coupon (remember to print the maximum allowed by using your browser’s back button)
Use $4/1 Walgreens IVC coupon from March EasySaver Rebate Catalog (p. 25)
FREE after coupons

Do this deal if you insist on getting Johnson’s name brand products. It’s not a deal otherwise:

Buy $25 worth of Baby Products, Get $10 Register Rewards
Buy 8 Johnson’s Soothing Vapor Bath, Wash, Lotion, Shampoo (15 oz), or oil (14 oz) products priced around $3.36 each (I have not confirmed these prices for the NW)
Use a combination of the following coupons to cover the 8 products:
$1/1 coupon from 1/4 RP insert
$2/2 coupon

$3/3 coupon
$1/1 coupon
$1/1 & $2/2 coupons

Pay $18.88, Get $10 Register Rewards
Thanks, It’s Hip To Save!

My Walgreens (NE 33rd and Killingsworth) didn’t have the Starbucks chocolate on sale – maybe it depends on which you go to. Still there were 2 blinky coupons sitting next to the chocolates, so I got 2 boxes for $2 – not bad, but not free.

I went to walgreens today, and found out you can’t use a colgate rr to buy another rr…had I known that I would have used my gift card and used the rr later, so I went to go pick up my 2 inkjet cartridges $10 for both, and returned the colgate tp..and that was after I used a 75c mfg. cpn. also they were out of the starbucks chocolate, but I found a desmet carmel turtle on clearance for 1.24, and had a 1.50 coupon. Another good candy deal, if you haven’t had enough for the season is the 2 for 7 reeses family pack..(reg 4.99 ea)., then use the 3.00 es cpn off 2, and stack with 2.00 off of 2 mfg (exp 3/31)..you get big bags of reeses or hersheys for 1.00 each. 1 last thing the Glade sense and spray is 9.99-4.00 ESc and -4.00 Mfg.c/o makes it 1.99, and it comes with the batteries, not free, but I’m a sucker for trying something new, and the commercial is cute too.

We bought some of the Starbucks chocolates and it seems that if the expiration date on the side of the box is October 2009 or later, then they have $1 off coupons inside. Also, we’ve found Walgreens with blinkies with $1 off coupons.

I did the Johnson’s deal, and the prices ranged from $3.30 ish to $4.49, bought 6 to get over $25, used 2 $2/2 and 2 $1/1, and used the coloring book cp which took a couple more dollars off, also got the colgate maxwhite and Vaseline intensive care lotion, using some mc’s. I think my total was around $21, but I got back a $10 RR, a $2 RR, and a $3.50 RR. The dorky asst mgr wouldn’t let me do the reach deal, or the sambucal deal. Haven’t found a store with 8 dove single bars yet, but the week is only 1/2 over, most stores seem to have tons of the colgate lying around. Think I am going to work on rolling my colgate RR’s with my Vaseline RRs a bit to use up my coupons and make some more overage.
