I meant to post this a few days ago but……I didn’t. Sorry. Anyway, here is my second Walgreens run this week. They were out of the Glucose meters and the cashier wouldn’t adjust the coupon down for the Ecotrim so I missed out on $7 in free Register Rewards. It was still a good run, though. I split this into three transactions, one after another. After the first one a man came up with one item to purchase so I let him go in between my transactions. We have to keep those cashiers happy so they will continue to let us do these sweet deals!
Rembrandt Toothpast $5.99
Bayer Aspirin $2.49 – $1/1 coupon from display
mini highlighter $.14 filler item since I had 3 coupons to use
used $5 Register Reward (RR) from Nivea Body wash earlier this week
used $2 RR from Ecotrim earlier this week
Total Out Of Pocket (OOP) = $.62 & received $6 RR & $2.50 RR
(4) Bandaids $12 – (4) $1/1 coupons
(2) mini highlighters $.28 filler items due to having 6 coupons, though I ended up only using 5 so I didn’t need one of the fillers.
used $6 RR from Rembrandt deal
Total OOP = $2.28 & received $4 RR
Nivea Body Wash $4.99 – $1/1 coupon
mini highlighter $.14 another filler
used $4 RR from Bandaid deal
Total OOP: $.13 & received $5 RR
So I came away with $5RR and $2.50RR and some great items!
This was a great transaction and would have been even better but since I didn’t have the extra $2RR from the Ecotrim to use for the second transaction I ended spending some on the bandaids. That is okay though, since I was needing bandaids anyway.
