Welcome to Frugal Living NW! Join us as we strive to live the frugal life–getting what we need for less, enjoying our blessings, and giving generously to those who are in need. We work hard to give you the scoop on great ways to save money in the Pacific Northwest, especially the Portland Metro area.
There are a number of ways we accomplish our mission:
:: Advanced Couponing Classes
Couponing today is more than clipping a few coupons for products your family uses. It’s a entirely different way of shopping! Learn how to coupon like a pro and get the vast majority of your food pantry and household items for free or nearly free using specific couponing strategies. Tuition is $20. There are a number of classes scheduled right now — look to your left for dates and times.
You can also host a class in your home (in the Portland Metro area) and receive free tuition and a whole stack of Sunday insert coupons! There must be a minimum of 10 paid participants (I will post your class on the website to help you out!). Contact me at email@example.com to schedule.
I am also available to hold a Couponing class for your community, church or non-profit group as a fundraiser. You get the people there and I’ll share the tuition with your group! Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
:: This website / blog
Gone are the days of scouring store’s weekly ads and matching up coupons yourself. How time consuming! Today’s Frugal-lites use the web! Every week, Frugal Living NW posts the very best deals and coupon match-ups for Albertsons, Safeway, Fred Meyer, Walgreens & Rite Aid. And we make sure the coupons that are listed are the ones you received in the Oregonian. All you do is check Frugal Living NW, make your shopping list, pull your coupons and head to the store.
We also post great deals and freebies from the web, hot local diaper deals (we’re mamas of young ones), family events, cooking tips & recipes, and general frugal encouragement.
The easiest way keep up-to-date with what’s going on here at Frugal Living NW is to subscribe to our feed through your blog reader (read more about subscribing to blogs here). When we post, you will be the first to know! Look to the left under the heading “Subscribe” to get started.
