We just received this email from Betsy who is looking for input on the best printer for printing coupons:
I am new to couponing (about 2 months now) and was just wondering if you’ve ever done a post on the best printers for us. Meaning, low cost. Best ink capacity, ink replacement cost, etc. Maybe your readers could share what their favorite printers are. I currently have an Epson 9400 Series all-in-one and I feel like I go through ink pretty quickly. I don’t even print that many online coupons. A new wireless printer is on my Christmas list and I am overwhelmed at all the options and was just wondering if you could help.
If you’re looking to buy a new printer (or new-to-you printer), here are some suggestions:
:: If you’re looking for a printer to primarily print coupons and documents, quality isn’t as important as price — of the unit and the ink. Any model on the market will give you the quality you need for coupons.
:: I suggest you check out Abascus Private Store, the cheapest place for ink cartridges on the web, find inexpensive generic cartridges and buy that printer. I have a Canon Pixma iP 2000 — replacement cartridges for less than $2. You could probably find this printer on Craigslist.
Note that many readers have not been able to find inexpensive cartridges for their particular printer through Abascus. You may have to do some additional research to find other web sources for cheap cartridges.

Now it’s your turn! What printer suggestions do you have for Betsy?
