Zaycon Foods, a Spokane Valley-based company that brings fresh meats and other products direct to consumers at wholesale prices, is coming again to the Oregon and Washington area next week. Here’s what they are offering:
- Hickory smoked bacon — $89.10 for 30 pounds
- Premium steak dogs — $28.70 for 10 pounds
- German sausage (pork & beef) — $28.70 for 10 pounds
- Steak patties (80/20) — $53.46 for 18 pounds
I just purchased one box of the bacon, steak dogs and steak patties. I’m crossing my fingers that it’s as good as the chicken breast and ground beef we’ve purchased in the past.
There are tons of Oregon and Washington delivery locations this time around. Note that some locations have already sold out of certain items. Here are the dates (refer to the Zaycon site for exact pick-up times).
Thursday, June 23: Ontario, Pasco, Spokane
Friday, June 24: Spokane Valley, Colville, Monroe. Issaquah
Saturday, June 25: Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Yakima, Ellensburg, Puyallup, Tacoma, Lynnwood, Everett
Monday, June 27: Kelso, St. Helens, Portland (SE)
Tuesday, June 28: Vancouver, Hillsboro, Salem, Eugene, Bend
I’m sure many of you are totally confused at this point. Here’s the deal: You choose a delivery location, order and purchase your meat from Zaycon’s website. On your delivery location’s specified day and time, you show up at the parking lot, drive through the line and the crew loads a box of meat into your car. So Portland it hurts…
