Albertsons Deals for November 19-25

We are proud to be apart of The Grocery Gathering over at BeCentsAble, posting for Albertsons stores in the Portland Metro area and the Northwest.

There are tons of great deals at Albertsons this week. I know long posts make some of you run from the computer. Stick with me.

Most of these deal scenarios factor in using Safeway double coupons, which are only offered in Oregon and SW Washington. You can only use 4 doubles per transaction, so plan your trips accordingly.

Albertsons is cracking down on using competitor’s coupons and some people have reported cashiers not letting them do multiple transactions with Safeway doubles in one trip, so be prepared to make multiple trips to the store. One cashier suggested to my friend, Kate, that her kids can “do a transaction.” Worth a try.

Any idea how to get more than 2 copies of the Kellogg’s coupon? I could only print 2 and then it starts telling me I’ve already printed as many as I’m allowed. I deleted my cookies, but it still doesn’t work.

McFarlane Family: There are in the Safeway weekly ad, which is always in a display rack when you walk in the door of the store. The coupon is in the bottom corner of one of the inside pages. I grab a handful before I head out to Albertsons.

Unfortunately, Safeway doubles are only offered at Oregon and SW Washington stores. Not sure where you live.

I did the popcorn deal this morning. My cashier used all the $1.50/1 coupons (3 of them) but would then only “double” one of them, but I got all 3 for free. I was able to print 4 of the $1.50 coupons and 2 of the $1.00 ones, so I bought a second set of 3 boxes (on a separate receipt) and paid $1.50. I’ve now submitted the rebate for 2 $5 gift cards. Yeah, Albertsons!

    Here's a few deals I grabbed today:

Green Giant frozen Steamer vegetables are on sale for $1. Use the $1/1 (11/16 insert?) to get them FREE!

Also, Fiber One toaster pastries are on sale for $2. Use the .70/1 (11/16 insert) coupon & SW double to get them for .80/box.

Nestle Cocoa mix on sale for $1/box. Use the $1/2 & SW double to get 2 boxes for .50.
