This Q&A a Day for Moms Journal popped up on Amazon the other day and I bought it on a whim, either to keep for myself or to give to a good friend who is having a baby in March. After I received it in the mail, I immediately bought two more.
This little book is BEAUTIFUL and the perfect journal for a Momma with kids of any age. There is a page for each day with a simple question and five sets of lines to answer the question (one set of lines per year). This means you can use the journal for five years! Once you get to December 31st, just simply start again.
As parents, I know so many of us stress that we aren’t capturing enough memories or taking enough pictures or remembering enough of the little details that make childhood so memorable. This journal gives us the chance to jot just a few short lines without having to actually THINK of what to write. Very little stress + a few minutes of effort = a keepsake for you to look back on or even to give to your kids when they are grown.
A few sample questions:
- What’s the silliest thing you worry about?
- What’s a good example of a mother’s intuition?
- What’s your favorite object in your child’s room?
Not only will it be so fun to look back through the years, but there also isn’t any consequence for missing a day or two. You don’t HAVE to fill out one day to go on to the next and so on. DO WHAT YOU CAN.
This book starts on January 1st (although you could start at any time), but the starting date would make this such a wonderful New Year’s gift to a Momma who needs a little encouragement.
Currently sitting at less than $10 and as of December 28th, showing to arrive before the New Year. If you are traveling, an idea would be to have this shipped to your destination.
